Love your videos, I used to be a mountain guide and snowdonia is probably the most beautiful mountain range. It has colour, history, myth and charm. You captured it very well. Thank so much for painting Wales so good with kind words. Diolch yn fawr xxxx
West Wales is my favourite area. Aberdovey and the Dovey estuary. Go to Lake Vyrnwy and head west to the coast. Those back roads are stunning, but usually deserted.
Thank you so much for watching. We love Anglesey 🤗 There's a slightly newer Wales video on our channel since we posted this one 😅 Thanks for watching, see you in the next one 👍

Do stop at the Swallow Falls. They are about a mile before Chapel Curig on the A5. It does cost a few coins to get in but what a beautiful set of waterfalls. They were of course closed due to Covid but watch out for the sign because it is only small and very easy to miss. A really beautiful place. Really enjoying your vlogs. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for your comment and watching our video, we appreciate your support :) We've actually never heard of those waterfalls and we are considering a top waterfalls video. Thanks for adding to our potential list 😅 Cheers! ✌️
Just had our first jaunt over the border to North Wales, Mrs C is an avid Quilter, so a visit to Abhakhan fabrics on the Dee coast at Mostyn ,then over the Clywdian hills to Afonwen craft centre for more touristy stuff and a late lunch...coming back to the Wirral ,the A55 was bumper to bumper coming into Wales..clearly lots of people flocking in....best wishes...E
Nice video, really glad you enjoyed your visit to my local patch. Just one slight correction though, if I may: nobody from around here calls the big tower Llanddwyn Lighthouse, it's always Twr Mawr. 😊👍
Thanks so much for watching our video, apologies for butchering the name of the Lighthouse 😬 Much appreciated for your feedback and corrections, we are glad you enjoyed it regardless, you live in a beautiful part of the world ✌️
Another couple of places well worth a visit are the Llanberis slate quarries (near Llanberis obviously LOL), and Parys Mountain on Anglesea. Enjoy! Subscribed :)
Thanks so much for stopping by to comment. We are actually heading to Wales again soon, so thanks for your suggestions, we'll take a look! :) Catch you in the next vlog! Cheers!
I started taking a HND in photography and was asked before being accepted what type of photography interests me. I replied portraits and capturing the essence of the moment. He said well im glad you didn't state landscape because the course is to challenging for those taking views. Yes of course I take views although i am people based.photographer. Enjoying viewing some of your chosen locations, some I know well and others are quite new.
Thank you Philip, much appreciated. We are glad we showed you some spots you were not aware of. Hat off to you for portrait photography, couldn't manage that 😅 Hills and mountains don't move 👌 Thanks again for watching and commenting, hope to see you in the next vlog ✌️
No problems Rob, glad you took some value from our video. I'm sure you're looking forward to visiting both places, we certainly can't wait to head back. Thanks again for commenting ✌️
Thanks for producing and sharing your excursion to Tryfan - Ogwen Valley. I long to get back to hill walking, but sadly, ill health prevents me at this time. My usual walking areas are in Scotland. I have never seen or heard of Tryfan, though I have walked in the Brecons.
Thank you! Our usual stomping ground is the Peak District but Wales is definitely beautiful! We actually have another Wales video coming out this Sunday 👍 hope to see you there in the comments ☺️🙏
Great video. Awesome shots. What time was it filmed? I didn't understand if you can only get to Anglesey by low tide. Isn't there a street to get there? Or do you mean up to the lighthouse???
Loving the style, the quality, the beautiful views, the places I've passed but never walked, the music, the fun and yes your faces and hair 😅. Keep up the good work 👍🚶♀️🚶♂️
Just watched Peak District top ten ... I'm traveling to England nest sumner and doing Peak for a week Snowdonia for a week and Lakes for a week, based in Beeley, Keswick, and Betws y Coed respectively...great lists to get me out into nature between visiting g historical houses.
Great video, some pointers on pronunciation. Welsh is mostly phonetical, if you know the letters of the Welsh alphabet you can say the words, unlike English. I'm just saying this as a bit of fun and to help if you'd like to pronounce the words correctly :) One 'f' in Welsh makes the English 'v' sound, two 'ff' in Welsh makes the English 'f' sound. Llanddwyn is a difficult one to describe, but double L doesn't make the 'cl' sound you use. The only way I can try to describe it is by placing your tounge in the same position you would say 'L', but you kind of blow air out while your toungue is in that position, try doing it whilst smiling, because your mouth widens as you pronounce 'LL'. So Llanddwyn is, LL sound, then 'andd' - 'an' as if you're saying 'and', double dd is a harder th, wyn - would be like saying 'oi' in English, with an 'n' after it. 'Wy' (like oi in English) is also the Welsh word for egg :D It's used a lot in Welsh though and doesn't mean place names have anything to do with eggs (ha). Anglesey in Welsh is Ynys Môn. :)
I'll caveate this with the fact in Welsh, 'wyn' or 'gwyn', the Welsh word for white, isn't pronounced like 'oin', it's pronounced like you said it in the video - sounds like 'win' in English, but with a g at the start. Sorry if that made it more confusing haha
Hi Jordan. Thanks so much for this, we appreciate it. Appreciate we absolutely butchered the hell out of some of those names, we are absolutely not from Wales 😅 Definitely appreciate the pointers on pronunciation however and we can use this as guidance for our next Wales video. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment and interact with us. Hopefully catch you in the next one. Cheers! ✌️
@@HayandKyle Awesome. I understand how difficult Welsh is to non Welsh speakers, I really think in England they should teach basic Welsh in school, even just how to prounounce the alphabet. It would make it a lot easier for people who like to visit and travel around Wales IMO. Come back soon and enjoy your next adventure :D
On the ridge line on the right side of your first set of pictures there is a big rock on top of a cliff. Could someone check if there's a tunnel under it. It looks right.
We were considering this too!! I think when the world opens back up a little more, we'll probably do just that! :) Thanks again for watching and commenting ✌️
Love your video , very helpful for planning future photography trips 👍 Spent a while trying to find Clanwin Lighthouse on Google maps !😂 which is how Llanddwyn is spelled on the subtitles 🙄
Thanks for your comments Keith! We are so glad you took something from watching the video and got over our butchered pronunciation of LLanddwyn :P Hopefully we'll have more from Wales later in the year. Catch you in the next one ✌
Thanks so much for watching and commenting Robin!! We also miss Wales, hopefully when it's safe, the borders will reopen and we can all enjoy it again. Glad you enjoyed and took value from the video ✌️
Unfortunately, Snowdonia has become so popular illegal parking was becoming a real problem in the beauty spots…. Prompting the local council to use hundreds of traffic cones in the worst effected areas - so many that some have nicknamed the place Snowconia

The letter 'F' in Welsh is pronounced like a 'V'. So for example, 'tryfan' is pronounced 'tri-van'. Only 'FF' is pronounced like a 'F'.
Thanks for the Welsh lesson 👍 😅 🐉
The “F” in Tryfan is pronounced as a “V”, so more like Truh-vann
