- Are you visiting North Wales? Do you want to know some of the best places to visit in North Wales? - If so, this is the vlog for you.
In this places to visit North Wales video, we show you a number of places where you are guaranteed a wonderful time, where the scenery is second to none.
We head in to the heart of Snowdonia, we visit some stunning beaches, take in some waterfalls and much much more.
We visit the beautiful town of Llangollen, where we look at the town, Plas Newydd, Dinas Bran and Valle Crucis.
No visit to North Wales is complete without a look at the incredible Conwy Castle and the charming surrounding town, where you can walk the walls and visit the smallest house in Great Britain.
Next it's the stunning beaches of Newborough and Llanddwyn Island on Anglesey. We also take a look at Beaumaris and take a trip down the Menai Straight on a rib boat.
If it's a sunset walk you want, be sure to check out Moel Famau on the Clwydian Range.
The Victorian seaside town of Llandudno is next, with it beautiful pier, before heading up to the Great Orme with it's beautiful views, ski slope and toboggan run.
Betws Y Coed is another beautiful part of North wales, where we visit Swallow Falls and The Fairy Glen.
The beautiful Criccieth is next with it's stunning castle and beaches - don't forget the great ice cream shop. We also visit the nearby Black Rock Sands.
Be sure to visit the mystical small town of Beddgelert, the place where legends are made. You can also visit the near by Sygun Copper Mine.
Barmouth is one of the most beautiful seaside towns in North Wales, check out the short boat trip or take the Panorama walk over looking the town.
If steam trains and lakes are your thing, then be sure to visit Bala with it lakeside steam train.
Finally, a bit of Italy in Wales in the form of the stunning, Portmeirion. Not only a place of absolute beauty, but also the filming location for the TV series, The Prisoner.

Welcome to the official Postcard & A Pint TH-cam channel.
Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020. All of a sudden, we were spending more time together, not working 6 or 7 days a week in the arts industry, and binge watching travel programs, and we were actually really enjoying it, and it made us re-evaluate what was important in life for us. Now back to working 6 or 7 days a week again, with very little time off, our happy time is getting out there on our brief times off together and making short travel videos that we are now sharing with you. Been to plenty exotic places in the world, but somehow Wales has captured my heart. I've been 100s of times and it feels like going back in time to a more peaceful, less chaotic world. There are parts of Wales where you won't see another car for 30 minutes. It truly is an escape from reality and in parts you can hear nothing but silence. The fact that it's not a stressful plane ride or long journey away makes it accessible for most in UK and it's weather is nowhere near as bad as people think. I like going on a warm Summer's day mid-week when it's even quieter and finding some isolated back roads, having a picnic and taking in the calm. Very underrated by the English, especially the insecure fakebook snobs who are obsessed with foreign holidays desperate to post 'exotic' snaps and impress their acquaintances. Sad really, when they have this beauty right under their noses.
You’re absolutely right and your perfect day sounds very much like ours. There’s nothing nicer than heading off to a welsh lake or beach and just enjoying the peace and quiet. Never been to any of these lovely places,to be honest we will be watching this ALOT as we plan to watch this to plan our next holiday to wales.Thoo i had to put up with hubby muttering "wish i talked like rach as shes amazing" Love that you done what i said and a top ten,thoo think its better to not have numbers as i seem to miss them out alot lol .To say we loved this video,will not do it justice its that good,but i am not jokeing when i say i will be useing this to plan my next trip to lovely wales,hubby thinks i get on with the smallest house lol. debs xx 🤗

Llangollen has a heritage Railway - I’m in 😃 Conwy castle is huge and seems like great value for money 👍🏻 Llandudno is one on our list as is Betsy Coed - my Grandparents used to visit this area on holiday. If the Welsh tourism board don’t sign you up after this video then they should do. This was immense and truly showcased something for everyone 😊 xx

@@PostcardAndAPint I've been going to Barmouth about 13 years...seen them about 4 years on the trot...I still get excited every time...we stay at Sunnysands Van Park with a van right on the sea front so we do a 🦈🦈 watch every morning ..so lucky..hope you see some soon👍

Visited caernarfon and Conwy yesterday had a brilliant day
@@peterdarnell9183 Two lovely places,I got engaged 2013 in Conwy,we stayed at The Castle Hotel it was fab. The Harbour is beautiful and fish and chips are the best..imho..ha.. My now ( late) partner and I went to Caernarfon to ride the steam train up to Snowdon but it was foggy up there so it never ran,🚂we went to Porthmadog instead in an open carriage, cold, but it was equally alot of fun. North Wales is a place of beauty for sure👌

Ahhh I absolutely love North Wales! So many good ideas in this one. Couldn't agree more with Anglesey - although we only had a couple of days there we just had the best time 😍 that sunset in the Clwydian Range too!! And of course, I was very pleased to see Barmouth in there too as we visited recently; definitely have to go back and do the walk to the panoramic view next time though 👌cheers guys!

absolutley loved this guys!! north wales is an amazing place, ive been to rhosneigr a few times with friends and it is an amazing place to visiti! it may not have the sunshine of south spain, but north wales has some great locations to see castles/countryside and beachs! loved the editing on this guys aswell, you got so many great footage! i bet it took a while to put together all of it 😅

North Wales looks amazing! It is really cool that we already knew about a number of these places from other TH-cam channels. I just found out my mother ancestors are from a small town in north wales. I never knew my history! How amazing and beautiful. My mothers name is Marple. I believe we came from Emma Marple from Penn. then we can trace back all the way to the first “king of wales” I love history wow! ❤ 🏴

What stunning places! Dinas Bran is such an incredible lookout point! The Great Orme was fantastic as well. I remember a few of these spots from some of your earlier videos... they're so gorgeous to revisit and collect together. North Wales truly looks like an exceptional area to visit. Love the views and ruins. That church would of been splendid in its days. Beautiful Castle. The walk along the Castle looks awesome. Love the island and beaches. The Toboggan Run would have been fun, I was waiting for William to come down. 🤣 Fairy Glen gardens and views are stunning. Criccieth, sounds like another great place to visit and more castles.
