More character creation if possible? I know it's quite a daunting process but there aren't many tutorials on youtube about it that aren't just timelapses.

I've got a really awesome character creation video coming up soon some time this month. But you're right they're hard to come by, I can start asking some artists if theyre interested in more character art tutorials!
Please consider making something about sculpting and painting stylized fur on animal characters. Even a quick tips, not necessarily entire character would really help.

this is a godsend. I have always wanted to do 3D environments but felt super overwhelmed. It is nice to see a straightforward breakdown of all your steps!!
I love that she makes it looks so easy, meanwhile I can be struggling on some of these things she's doing in minutes for hours. This is some pure raw talent here!

Hey ! Thanks for sharing with us and good job on this one.
I would like to ask a question here : UV overlap is a good thing but, as you sculpted the whole bridge didn't you get bothered by losing one side of the details when you baked your normal/AO etc ? (unless you sculpted with symmetry on ^.^)

Yes, I think you and her can do all of this just in Blender! I personally think she wastes too much time changing softwares as well, but it is the way like she likes to do.

Hi! Could you give me a bit more information about how you did your water? I'm doing a surface for water that isn't flat, but needs that look while also being cut on the sides to look like you can see under the water. What material did you use for it? What would you recommend? I only have maya as a tool I can use for it and it's cartoonish.
Do you prefer Marmosets baking to substance painter's baking? If so, why?
I've always struggled with getting the High low bakes to work well in substance painter (lots of artifacts) but in the new 2020 version I haven't had any of those problems yet

~Whilst beeing fully professional and showing my upmost respect for the work, the artist *and* Stylized Station~
I have to say. This is the cuttest voice I have ever heared in my entire life.
Cool. I can't use most of the tools, and would be more interested in UV setup and how models are unwrapped, especially if there are more objects in the scene. Currently I only use blender for modelling and krita for painting, I fake all the maps with texture painting.
easier that way tbh, but Alexandra enjoys that process so she's fine. I try to avoid uv unwrapping with my life.
I really recommend all begginers to learn how to unwrap a UV

The end result isn't really beginner level, but the video is aimed at beginners who want to learn the stylized environment workflow :) Just to give people a reference of what they should be doing.

Autodesk have a studend version of Maya for free , have the same functions as the comercial one

There is a lot of free software out there. Hexagon 2.5, for example, is an easy program to get started Nvil is also very powerful and affordable. You can always complement your workflow to meet your needs and preferences.

It is diorama, not environment
Nice looking assets but your workflow is a bit dated and you could be doing all of this with very little import/export fuzz and costly apps for 1 task.
You can create that only in blender 😂 why so many software, omg !?
Just try to learn all... it help full for your job.

They call this beginners, and 5 years on, I'm pretty sure this is not what I'd call beginner stuff...
This is a little over beginners, i feel like she went a little overboard by using too many softwares, bc then you'd have to learn how those softwares work. But this is more or less the way stylise art is done
