@@taymack9725 …. I should not give up and start my now journey solo. I will learn a lot how do you help hands from not hurting when playing now feel like maybe their might be a more comfy way to hold controller?
thank you for helping me learn the bow! I always had no idea what I was doing and kept either using all my stamina or taking too long to kill the monsters. This will be good training for Wilds, thanks again.
Your guides are amazing. You explain it in a way I understand everything easily and don't feel myself lacking something I would have loved to know from the beginning. Thank you for that. Also Thousand Dragons with pierce pods let my jaw drop.
Bow main here. Absolutely love this weapon and I struggle to put it down and use anything else, despite loving many other weapons. Shout out to IAkudo on TH-cam. Best bow user around, hands down. He just posted a 7 minute Fatalis solo on bow.
12:30 one thing is that this move counts as mount dmg so spamming it on a monster is a good way to get a quick mount early on as most monster have relatively low mount thresholds at first until they have been mounted at least once so its a good way to get some free dmg for you and anyone with you. can even open with a wall bang to get some dmg/tenderizing in, proc agitator then mount for another opening while agitator is active for a massive dmg window
I've wanted to use the bow for a long time now, I've recently started using the hammer after using and killing both Fatalis and Alatreon with the Hunting Horn and now that I've seen this video I can master the bow without issues
@@TheGamingDandy I’m just learning this more. But later on aka late iceborne around all the elder dragons and beyond. Evade window/ evade distance is your best friend. Came here cause I wanted to give bow a try. I looks cool, I've seen people absolutely destroy monsters with it and from what I've heard it's the most popular weapon amongst japanese players. So keep your fingers crossed for me :)
This is a really great video! Just got back into MHW and picking bow back up so been enjoying the new content. Just a quick note in case you didn't notice but the Bow Training section of the video is missing the timestamp. Thanks again for the guide!
now i consider to play mhw with controller, bcs when using bow with mouse and keyboard. the single shot / charging are using the crtl button which is... quite.. annoying... but im starting to like this bow play style. and thanks a lot for the guide!
I really wish there was some ridiculously difficult quest that'll take 4 players, around 40 odd minutes to complete, fighting something ridiculously difficult for some guaranteed rarity 12 decos. In my time playing, I have not gotten a single Attack+4, expert+4 or challenger and I'm currently MR 472.. It truly is painful having the best gear but awful decos. Time for another 100 Days of Ruin/whatever the Teostra mission is called😅.. any tips or easier ways besides Ruin that you've, or anyone else has found?
People said they had auto-aim, but I can't seem to do it. The moment I release LT after the first hit, it doesn't follow the monster; there's no auto-aim.
@@RuthlessShadowGamer Autoaim is more disruptive than helpful in this game. It's very subtle when you have it on top of a monster, but it will constantly make you miss shots, because of how slow it is for quick movements.
Nice guide, just want to put in that I'd personally find it more interesting to see some non-meta or mid-MR builds. I don't get why it is people want to see meta builds when it's all the exact same formula of ludicrously OP Fatalis armor and crit jewels.
Crazy that bow is my most hunted weapon and i have 500 hours in this game but I didn't know you could neutral hop to stop charging. This will help me survive fatalis when I forget to manage stamina and I find myself holding a shot with no means to dodge
My only issue with Bow in World is the stamina management. There are so few stamina skills and dash juice isn’t easy to come by. Whereas previous titles had infinite stamina with Super Dash Juice and Rise has quite a few skills that also give infinite stamina
Not exactly true on Aerial bow part. You can't aim "down sights" but you can change direction where you shoot. Either way aerial bow 0:00:01 second montages were impossible. While you are already running on the wall, keep your LEFT controller stick in the direction you want to release arrows (everything in relation to how it is on your screen). For PC players...idk? Turn camera where you want to release arrows and hold W?
is the fatalis bow better than just going with elemental bows? When i played so many years ago i only played raw damage melee weapons so now that im restarting on pc im curious. because everyone says go elemental and use all the coatings and decos
You'll never kill a monster with power coatings only. You can craft a few more if you bring the materials, but you'll run out quickly. Use the close range coating, since it's only 10% weaker than power coatings.
I was always under the impression that the most important stat for bow would be the elemental damage rather than the raw. Is that not the case? Would a better bow set not be catered for each element with an elemental charm?
Now show me a build that i can use not the best armor/bow in the game , no one shows a middle end game build, always Alatreon or Fatalis set and thats why im here , looking for one to kill that 2 monsters, anyways great video :)
Im not really a fan of Worlds bow, why did they need to take away the shot type layouts for each bow and give everyone the same, you can't even do pierce shots outside of Dragonpiercer. Plußs not even critical distance is as important as in other MHs Honestly why did they need to braindead oversimplify the weapon so much in World? I hope Wilds does better.
I actually grew to prefer the set shot inputs because of early stages of dash dancing can be really awkward in Rise if the Bow has mismatched shot types which is kinda often if you want to make a full elemental set of each shot type.
Omg, this dude spent so much time talking about Dragon Piercer, Thousand Dragon and useless combos but never talked about positioning and stamina management which are the most important things for a bow player.
actually frequently impressed with the utility and damage bow players output. Great guide Tera!
