Sometimes all you need to do is tighten up the nut. Make sure the belt is on. If it has oil wash or replace it. Oil is a sign that you drivetrain is doing.
If it is not spinning, first make sure you are draining. You should be able to hear the shifter switching from wash to spin. Also check the belt and pulley or pulley nut
