Ohhh for the love of everything holy why the dislikes? I dnt agree with everything the man says or sells but he puts out great content and i have learned a thing or 2, plus the amout of work it takes to do all this editing bs.Hating just to hate just sucks.
White is nice to have, but not needed. The yellow pad is the most versatile pad on the planet. It can be used as a 1-step, yet finish well on all paint systems. It finishes great on soft black paint(better than white). Need more cut, use microfiber. Great package.
Does this mean you just use the 1 pad for the whole car? Blowing out every now and again? Also for us that don't have air, is there a good alternative way to clean a foam pad? Cheers
So Matt, I bought a 2010 Toyota Tacoma TRD sport 3 years ago. It’s the metallic black. I did not notice when I bought it, but in the paint, there is something that resembles the sheen on wet ground oil leaves. I tried cutting with a wool pad, I tried wet sanding with 2000 grit and polishing, it went away in that spot briefly then came back. I’m stumped as to what it is. Wish I was located closer to you and the pros so you guys could try to figure out what it is and how to get rid of it. Very frustrating. I can try to take a picture and email to you and have you guys try to figure it out. Is it a botched ceramic coating job? Hell, I don’t know but it bugs the shit out of me.
When would you recommend using the white Rupes pad ? Would the yellow or white pad Finnish out better on most situations or dark colors like your blue truck?

Matt do you clean fully your pads after each panel?
Foam, I blow out every few passes. Microfiber I blow out after every one.
Obsessed Garage alright thanks!
