Jescar is such a good product. I have a vehicle that I use in the snow (one of those Northern guys...) and it gets a good detailing after the snow and salt is over - and this time I used the Jescar. Works SO much better than anything I've used before.
Did you find the last cut, cut better than carpro clear cut or just finished better? Also if you could buy one which would it be, as I'm currently trying to decide what to buy ?
I'm hoping you'll be doing a video of the new Meg's 110 and 210 :-) I pre-ordered yesterday. Pretty excited. Great video!!! Love this stuff. All reviews are great on the jescar!!!!
I tried this yeserday on My Parents Honda Odyssey...ccs orange pad.. 3401 flex. Didn't care for it. By the third pass, stuff was flying all over off the pad. It didn't cut that well either. Perfect Finish did the same thing...made a mess. Ccs white, force white, chemical guys 6.5 inch pads. 4 pea sized drops. I switched to 3DOne,orange ccs pad..zero issues. Speed 4.5 like with Jesca\Sonax. Any idea why those products had stuff flying off brand new pads? thanks
You never can know, that's part of the risk. Using a dual action polisher generally presents a low enough risk to not worry too much unless you have a car that has been polished a ton in the past.
I just ordered the AIO. Can't find any reviews on it on TH-cam, but based on both the power lock+ and the compound I took a chance on it. Arrives next week I'm hoping. Wish someone would review it lol
I need to pick up a rupes 15 and some good pads. Been practicing with a Chicago electric DA with some pads and it’s ok but I know it could be better. I’ll have to check this product out and switch out my meguirs 105/205
I know it's not a rupes, but the maxshine 15 and 21 seem to be well received. 169 on Amazon for the 900 watt 15. I just picked up the 1000 watt maxshine shinemaster 15 ($199). I'm a home gamer. Haven't had a chance to use it, but looks and feels great. The 900 watt model has had alot of praise for the build and use especially for the price. They have both 15 and 21 in the 900 watt (the master) and the 1000 watt (shinemaster pro). Worth a look. Many videos on the 900 watt model from many detailing TH-camrs
@@ObsessedGarage How about the compound products from 3m? or would you just use Jescar? See I was wondering what to use that wouldn't be a 1 step compound.
Are you a fan of griots fast correcting cream matt? Literally no dusting and corrects about just everything you can throw at it depending on pads. Will have to try out some jescar see how it compares.
Chris_Audittr2108 - Just buy Menzerna like I do in Belgium. Or order straight from the States. Jescar has been the representative and importer of Menzerna products since 1978 for the North American market. Jescar has been supplying buffing and polishing products and supplies to industrial finishing market such as furniture, musical instruments, metal finishing, and automotive beginning in 1999. Our concentration in the guitar market led to our development of Jescar fret wire which is now the international standard for all guitar manufacturers. Our work in the automotive market began with supplying the OEM assembly plants with newly developed polishes that proved to be great performers against the major existing supplier. We entered the detailing market by introducing some of Menzerna`s OEM polish formulations, and the products were very well accepted by the detailing community. We soon realized that having only a medium compound and a polish were too limited, so we worked with various international chemical companies to develop our own high performance products that were not available from Menzerna. The result was our Power Lock polymer sealant, followed by Paint Refresh detail spray and Color Lock carnauba wax, all sold under the MenzernaUSA brand as supplements to the core Menzerna polishing compounds. With the success of these MenzernaUSA products and requests to expand the line further, we made the decision to rebrand the MenzernaUSA products under our Jescar company name. The result is our new brand name, Jescar Finishing Products. This decision coincided with the new Menzerna labeling program which was necessary to create an international labeling standard that did not exist before. With the rebranding to Jescar we took the opportunity to improve the Power Lock with additional advanced polymers, and now the product is known as Power Lock Plus. Color Lock and Paint Refresh will remain the same formulations as before. We are nearing completion of our development of additional new detailing products that will be introduce in 2016. This will expand our Jescar Finishing Products offering to provide a complete system of Menzerna polishing compounds with innovative detailing products from Jescar. We are working on the redesign of the Jescar website which will have two major sections: Jescar products for the guitar/musical instrument market and Jescar Finishing Products for compounds and detailing products. I hope that this explanation provides some insight into our new direction and would be glad to answer any questions about our new product lineup. Jeff Silver Jescar Finishing Products MenzernaUSA
The most diplomatic answer, as always: Use the right combination based on personal testing. And not on the basis of a brand. This post from Obesessed garage is a personal opinion. I use the S20 and - or the Perfect Finish on my Beemers because it does the job with the right pads. Grtz
Hi Matt, A fellow Matt here. I'v been watching your videos for roughly two years and always find them relaxing, helpful and very informative. Anyways, reason I'm commenting. I have a 2012 bmw 335 (F30) and it's black. Last year I finally decided to try my hand at polishing as the paint is horrendous. Plus living in Illinois, the winters don't help. I'd say my first attempt was not very successful, I did see some improvement, but the paint still had swirls and haziness when I left it with sealant last summer. This year, I was hoping to up the game. I inspected the paint today after a long winter: Of course lot's of scratches all over and the trunk for whatever reason is absolutely horrible with scratches, swirls and lots of haziness. I was wondering if you could offer some advice how to go about correcting this. It seems like whatever I tried last year didn't work (I used chemical guys foam pads and their V series polishes). I watched this video and just ordered the jescar correction compound and meguirs microfiber cutting pads; do you think this will be enough to make my paint look good again or would you recommend another solution? Thank you in advance and keep doing what you're doing. All the best! Edit: I really do miss seeing the M3's - really enjoyed seeing some BMW on your channel!
Black paint will generally take more technique and skill that other colors. Picking a spot to test, like the trunk would be a good start. Break it up into sections and try different things. First, try the Jescar on a primed Microfiber cutting pad and make 2 passes up and 2 passes down with a decent amount of pressure. Gently wipe it with Eraser and inspect it using a light. See what happened. If that worked at removing the scratches, but is still a bit hazy, great. Move on to finishing with foam. If it didn't try making more passes. Then less passes. Or maybe try going over the same spot again if the scratches and swirls are almost gone, but not quite to your standards. Also know, some of them may never come out. Once you move on to finishing, do the same thing. Try white pad vs. a yellow pad. Chemical Guys polishes are not very good, so my guess is your result is going to be much better.
If anyone is skeptical, get the 8oz bottle and 2 micro fiber cutting discs. Give it a try, it's foolproof. You'll be impressed!

3D One is great too for that same situation
How does this compare to 3-D one?
Can I used in a soft paint
The Last Cut Compounding Glaze by Jace Price is the best compound i have tested. Then comes Koch Chemie H802 and Carpro Clear Cut Compound.
Did you find the last cut, cut better than carpro clear cut or just finished better? Also if you could buy one which would it be, as I'm currently trying to decide what to buy ?
How does this compare to Sonax Cutmax?

Those pad are junk. Punt in the trash. Problem solved.
@@ObsessedGarage What would You suggest on a FLEX3401 for pads?
It always scares me with using heavy compounds. How do you know if the paint can take it? I use a porter cabel DA with foam pads.

27 PayBack I bet. I’m saving up for a rupes 15 or 21 and hopefully I’ll become better at paint correction

Can you use something like this compound by hand? With the understanding you won't get the same result as with a DA.
You can use it but man....that would suck. It certainly own't finish as well as with a machine.
@@ObsessedGarage figured that. Just exploring options.
Would there be an issue with underworking it and causing more damage?

I like the Griot's. I have a bottle on my shelf. I've found this better.
this is my favorit.. use this with a mf cutting pad and than use menzerna perfect finish and it looks amazing

Jescar polishes are different than Menzerna polishes. They are not made in the same place.
It’s a better than cut Max ?
What for us guys from Europe what to use instead ?
I'll be able to ship this internationally soon.
