It's just the software default showing the max amount of fans supported per channel on the hub, you can select how many are actually installed on each individual channel and it will gray out the extras in hardware setup and adjust the lighting effects to the physicaly installed fans but always shows the maximum available per channel on the lighting setup screen for some odd reason.

It would be nice to include thetmsl testing.
@@kennethz3366 it wasn't meant as a review as I didn't test it like that and it would have been unfair to do so since I swapped the fans for SL120 fans. However I did show some benchmark results at the end of this video th-cam.com/video/nbHj9sIZbVU/w-d-xo.html
Might sounds like a noob question but, why is the software showing 4 fans for the cpu cooler while there's actually only 3 fan mounted on the radiator? What am i missing? 🤔
@o0Silverwolf0o awesome, thanks alot for the answer I got all the parts for my new setup waiting in the closet and waiting on my gpu and cpu to be shipped.. Glad that there's no real issue with the software 😃
Thank you my friend.
on the Lian Li website its say "It is not recommended to plug the 12V PWM Pump cable into the CPU OPT port. Please connect it to a CPU FAN or AIO PUMP header instead and set the port in BIOS to PWM mode."
i would like to know the difference because i'm relatively new to PC builds is the correct way to install it on the motherboard the one you showed in the video? or should i follow the website instructions ?
Yes use CPU fan. I didn't use opt
@TheProvokedPrawn thanks I wanted to double check since I've never knew the difference on those pins
@@Punished_Luna i was getting pump failure on cold boot if i plugged it in cpu fan for a few seconds, like the pump takes sometimes to turn on 😅 but resolved in pump fan strange.
I run a Galahad 360 with a push pull fan config and was looking to upgrade to a new AIO does this one support a Push Pull setup or would you recommend one. My pc gets really hot because I use a 7800x 3d and a 4090
Good question. I'm not sure the impact push pull would have on the tubing.
Yes, the Hydroshift supports push-pull configurations. I installed a Hydroshift 360S last night and I swapped the stock fans for 6 UNI INF 120s. Im also running a 7800X3D and a 4090. Previous 360 aio was an Arctic LFII 360. Temps are identical. I shifted from a Lian Li Lancool 2 Mesh to a Lian Li O11 Evo RGB. Top-mounted the rad and while a tight fit, the push-pull 360 setup barely fits (ven witht he mobo in the lowest position).
Hi Everyone Im Lookng to get this 360 for my build. But would it cool a 14900ks cpu with a Godlike max mother board???????
Yes
I know it's a stupid question but i need to ask because i would love to have this aio. Is this compatible with LGA 1200 does it have a mount or something for LGA 1200?
Hey Prawn 🦐
Did you happen to note what the performance difference was when you swapped the fans? I was thinking of putting my infinity fans on there to match the rest of my lian li fans. But Im a little concerned on how much cooling I'll lose
I haven't tested that yet I'm afraid.
Snow 3D is the only one you can choose, most do not bring up anything except an error message, frustrating!
Thanks for an informative video. A while ago you had a MSI MEG MAESTRO 700L PZ in a video where you did a project zero build, would this Lian Li Hydroshift LCD 360R AIO fit in that case, in terms of the length of tubes going down to the cpu?
I believe it's designed to work in the majority of cases but I haven't tried that case specifically
Nice video mate. What's the game at the end? Thanks
Bellwright
@TheProvokedPrawn Hey! I bought this model and after installing it following your video the cpu temp goes from 0 to 90 in less than 1 minute. Do i need to change any settings on BIOS for the CPU Fan cable be recognize by the board? Asking because it always was giving me the message of "No CPU Fan" while booting and since it is plugged there seems awkward. Pls help me i really need it. Running a Asus Rog B-550 A with a Ryzen 5 5600X if it helps.
Have you connected all the power cables correctly? Is the pump properly secured or could it be loose? th-cam.com/video/nVkN8diBIAE/w-d-xo.html
@@TheProvokedPrawn Everything was in place, fans running and also could get them on L-Connect but never got signal from the pump there like in your video. But yeah, temps went from 0 to 90 really fast. Like i told you, was watching the video while mouting it on my system so i think i got it correctly done. Was just asking about something on BIOS because i think you can set the cpu fan to PWM or Volts. My mistake might be there. Didnt you went to your bios and setup the Cpu Fan for PWM?
Great AIO, may have to snag one when they become available. I'll always be a front/side mounter, though. Is it really "top mount only"?
No, they say you can side mount it, but the tubes won't look as good. I've not tried though
I don't think the tubes would reach unless you remove the brackets and shroud and at that point it's just a galahad 2.
@TheProvokedPrawn cheers! Lol. Finally going to give it a whirl! 🤞
@@TheProvokedPrawnIndeed, the tubes do not look as neat and tidy. But they'll be building snowforts in hades before I top mount a radiator.
@SpaceyMonkey75 😂
Beautiful work, man! What do you think about the quality of their software? I’ve heard (some months ago), that the software has many issues.
If you look online you'll see people complaining about all sorts of software from different brands. In my experience people are quick to complain, slow to compliment. In my experience L Connect is perfectly fine. Not perfect but good. Basically the same can be said for lots of other software too 😂
@@TheProvokedPrawn you are absolutely right with that complaining 😂 I never used a Lian Li product, so I was curious about your experience. Thank you for your work 🫶🏻 lovely greetings from Germany
hey I have question about your motherboard Asrock LiveMixer. since it has that epd port then can we use any screen on it? I have that good quality 1080p touch screen(40pin) from my old dell laptop but I'm not sure if that motherboard will even detect it or may ended up burn it.
Hi Prawn, Have you heard anything about the release date of the 2024 Lian Li cases? I'm mainly interested in the Lancool 207. Just wondering if you heard anything. Thanks
Update: late Q3 for both lancool 207 and 217 according to Lian Li support.
I haven't I'm afraid
It Will be released in q3
@@Andersg85 thanks! I also got a reply from Lian Li support and they said both the Lancool 217 and 207 will be released in late Q3.
I like that AiO design but I'm hesitant because Lian Li's AiO's constantly failing due to clogged pumps.
Constantly? I've only heard of one version of their older AIOs that that happened with. Unless you know different?
@@TheProvokedPrawn According to reddit the Galahad as well as Galahad II Trinity tend to fail within the first year.
Dude got deeeeeeeep voice
Everthink for you frend 😂
What?
the galahad is better in my opinion
Why do you think that? Torn between the two
Disappointing its worst than the Galahad II temperature wise
I have the Galahad 2, I was thinking about swapping it for this
First
So are you a paid shill? Like no performance numbers? No comparisons! Call it an install video and unboxing not a review. Hate paid shills
Where does it say anywhere in the title or anywhere else it's a review? It's a setup guide. Performance details I put in case reviews because the cooling can be influenced by many factors.
$625 for the only one on the Canadian Amazon site, i'll pass lol.
Can I flip these fans to use in exhaust and keep rgb?
Can i side mount it?
