Lian Li's own power supply not having proper cable length for their own case is so silly!! I'm a first time builder and stuff like this stresses me out lol, I really appreciate the clear cable instructions in this video, it helps out a lot
The edge psu is designed to be installed on a dual chamber case like the o11. That's why the cables are shorter. The o11 doesn't need the extra cable length, so shortening them achieves a dual purpose: less cost for lian li and less cable management bundles for us.
UK Pcpartpicker lists that non-fitting Corsair PSU as compatible with the Lancool 207! Thankyou so much for showing this not to be so. Dents one's trust a little in pcpartpicker though. You're channel is great - this video in particular was of great help!
knowing some cables are gonna be a struggle to reach the spots they need to go into kinda makes me happy as it means less clutter in the back when i use sleeved cables since they attach to the end of the regular cables giving it a bit more lenght
They are having a lot of issues if research hard before you buy one. I’m still struggling with trying to figure out wtf is going on with mine. Think I got a defective one
Most psu cables are 600mm long, the Edge psu uses cables that are 550mm long - hence your problem connecting the eps cables. When Lian Li recommends using the edge Psu with this case, they should’ve tested it first!
I don’t understand as per website standard ATX psu of up to 160mm max should fit no problem, is the one you tried above 180mm or is it some non standard version of Corsair rm1000x?
I notice you left out the nightmare that happens when Windows 11 doesn't fully install because it needs to be connected to the internet to complete the installation (which most folks won't be able to do, since their computer will not have the drivers for ethernet/wifi installed).
Can the Hydroshift be flipped around so the Lian Li logo faces inside the case (and not face outward toward the user)? I hate when company logo/brand lettering is prominently displayed on products; it detracts from aesthetics and also feels like being used as free advertising.
Hey Prawn question about this hydroshift ... it is better than GA II LCD ? in terms of temperatures ? some guides are different across internet and shows is better some... don't :P Regards
I haven't actively compared to two tbh. Though I'd personally go for the hydroshift as it seems quieter and has been in the various builds I have used it in
@@TheProvokedPrawn Im worried just about this Plastic-L cover how to take it off correctly i watched your vid with swap fans and basicly you first take off bottom and then slide to right if im not wrong.
Do not like that they didn’t think of the PSU market. Even their manual uses the Edge image but the case is way lower price compared to PSU which defeats the purpose of a lower price case. Also the lack of space for any other psu to breath fresh air from the bottom will cause huge spikes in heat. Not happy with this case. Hope they do a revision soon.
@@TheProvokedPrawn it's not your fault here. I was the one that was not clear on subject either. I was talking about the space between the table and where the vent for the PSU is. You have what 5mm? Thank you for taking your time to answer and obvisouly fantastic job explaining how to set up the build. Also lovely AIO.

This is my favorite PC building channel. You show so many different things. I have no clue what I want to build. LOL
Thanks! I assumed that people just watch one video on the case they want to build and never watch me again.
@@TheProvokedPrawn You got a good voice and you are very articulate. So your channel is very entertaining.
thanks for testing that shift power supply, i was about to get this case without knowing my psu wouldnt work
Glad I could help
I am considering getting a HydroShift TL for my new build. Pricey but it looks just so darn good! 😎
Thank you.
It is nice
@@TheProvokedPrawn 💯
Me too, but i wonder why it doesnt have a liquid temperature sensor. I want to tie the fan speed to the liquid temperature.
im surprised the hydroshift is less expensive than their ga 2 lcd

I was just questioning this when seeing it in the video and was going to copy all the parts, don't think I like that though lol

I've actually been trying to replicate that problem but haven't had it. There is a solution if you Google it.
Anyone knows if the Arctic Liquid Freezer III will fit top mounted in the case?

Do you think atx psu with 180m length can still make it? I know they said 160mm below
Does it pinch the cables when you close the right panel?

There is venting at the bottom for standard PSU intake. I should have made that clearer.
