- In today's video we show Antalya Turkey real estate for international house hunters. These properties are great for expats, foreigners and those interested in investing in Antalya Turkey real estate. We visit with the Real Estate team at Turkey Dar. We take a look at homes and apartments that are for sale around Antalya Turkey, and explain what they may rent for per month. If you are a potential Expat, Immigrant, or Investor this video is for you. The city of Antalya is a bustling beach city of 2,500,000, which is a popular tourist destination, as well as a year round favorite Expat location. Antalya offers a great quality of life, rich in history and popular beaches. . The average US Retiree on Social Security receives $1,550 a month, and a couple on Social Security receives over $2,500 a month. A US Expat living on Social Security can expect a great standard of living in Turkey when compared to the living costs in the US.
Currently Turkey is a tremendous value for Expats with income from abroad.

Do you want to live abroad as an Expat? Are you looking for affordable and viable options? We are exploring the world to see what it's like to live in a country, and also discover if Residency is an option.
We began our retirement in March of 2020 with the intent to travel the world, spending 1-3 months in a country or location. We want to see what it's like to live there and not simply visit, and we want to share these experiences and the costs with whoever wishes to follow along.
We will make a commission on these links, your rates are not impacted.

I would assume most retirees receiving social security or a pension from most western countries would have a remarkably high standard of living there.
Very much so 👍👍
Congrats on reaching 1 million views! Awesome
Thanks 😊 😁
Dear Julie and Warren, love watching your videos and follow your amazing adventure.Congratulations on your 1,000,000 views. 🎊🎉🎆👏🎈 Greetings from Southern California.
Thanks we appreciate you ♥️♥️
Excellent video! Thank you so much!
Thanks we appreciate that 😁
Wow! As usual you guys nailed it. I’ve been following your vlogs as far back as Ecuador. I have been vacillating between choosing Turkey or Ecuador either to visit or reside in. Your videos are helping me and I suppose a whole lot of others decide which place suits them best. As for me, I know a whole lot of Spanish to get by but I might have to learn some Turkish as well. Thank you so much for the information. Keep up the great work.
Thank you, we are happy we were able to give you some helpful information, either way you go I’m sure you’ll be very happy.
We appreciate the information. Continue like this!
We are returning there in November and quite excited to see it again 😀
Great videos. Extremely helpful.
Thanks we appreciate your watching 😁
Hello from US, South Cali
Very informative and on point video, awesome.
Thanks we appreciate your watching 😁
It’s so odd that pools don’t get maintained during part of the year. An unmaintained pool is an eyesore.
It appears to be the norm there. We saw it many times.
You are right ! It doesn't look good. It's still very warm in November and we are swimming at the beach
Also it's probably because the maintenance fees are so low.
Thanks for the info!
You bet!
Thanks for sharing video/tour, nice apartments.
Thanks for watching 😁
PRICES ARE TOO HIGH AS COMPARETO RENTAL VALUE... 300 DOLLARS RENTAL INCOME MEANS THAT THE ACTUAL MARKET VALUE OF APARTMENT IS NOT MORE THAN 30,000 DOLLARS...
The minimum wage now in Antalya is around 4,000 TL which is around $300 today!
Anyone considering buying a property here should be in their retirement rather than a young couple with children as it would take them nearly 30 years to make their money back in rent, unless you are foreign it's really hard on the native Turkish people that's what I'm trying to say
The rental market is great value. We’re probably looking at living in Turkey for 12 months once we finish up in Qatar. Will keep these guys in mind when we need to find a rental.
Yes they can help 👍👍
Great video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great informative video WnJ. These builders do such an amazing job that put the US Home builders to shame that build homes with wood and card board. Love the style, elegance, functionality and ambiance they build into their homes at a very affordable price. US Home builders can learn from these guys than selling cookie cutter homes at highly inflated prices. Thanks again for an eye opening wow homes in Turkey.
Thank you so much, we appreciate you following our journey, and are happy the information is helpful.
Very interesting! It would be great to watch the video about real estate in Alania.
We expect a visit eventually.
Me and my family was in Antalya last summer, too hot in the summer, we can’t even go out till around 7 pm. It’s a nice place.
Yes approximately three months of the summer are scorching.
Would absolutely love it if you guys could do a video like this for apartments in Istanbul.
Maybe eventually, we will see.
I am enjoying your video from Mozambique ❤️❤️
Awesome! Thank you!
Greetings. You guys are doing a great job in Antalya. Would you please do the same for Bodrum, as I’m looking to retire soon. Much appreciated. Keep up the good work and enjoy.
Not sure we’ll get there this year, but eventually 👍
Thanks
Thanks for watching 😁
Nice place
Very informatief alot of people from Afghanistan in the last time due to political probleem coming in Turky most of them are happy for people like me from Europa with euro saving would be a heaven because every Things are scheap thank you for making goed video i hoop you Should making video from different part of Turky my mean big cities .
Thanks for the showing , if I buy one of those apartment what will be residency permit ?
Please contact the realtor in the video description. He will be able to assist with this question. ☺️
Something I did not see mentioned and I would like to check. I understand why you quote the prices in a strong currency but I understand buying/ selling and offering to rent must be done in the local currency. With the current rate of inflation once a tenant is in the apartment, your rental income will not keep pace with inflation and you must stick to the legal increase only. Over a couple of years this becomes a problem. Also could you mention how long you must keep a property to avoid the tax on your capital investment? Thanks.
Price they ask is a ripoff! $100,000 for a 2B condo is extremely expensive for Turkey. anybody who is interested in, should check different realtors for queries. If it is possible, check it with a trusted native residents of the city, who will not scam or rip you off.
Always do your due diligence of course. Asking can be different from sales prices of course negotiate. So far we haven’t had any other negative comments on the pricing
Hi all. Yes to Turks it is expensive. But in America you can only find a studio, here in New York. It is an excellent value and opportunity for us. l am Puerto Rican/ new Yorker. But I have friends in Istanbul and I would consult with them. Best wishes to everyone
Wow and more wow! A little pricey to buy, but nice on the rent! :) also, are these actually available to rent??
Similar properties are available.
I'd be interested in property in old town/ downtown 😊 This was really interesting 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Any improvement in price since the TurkishLira bottommed out? Or are they seloing by dollar to keep prices buoyant?
It appears they do the listings in dollar or euro, the Turkish lira has stabilized in the 13 range.
@@WarrenJulieTravel Or rubles. loads of russians buy and live here, Liman Hurma are almost russian colonies of sorts
It’s amazing how much is being built there and here in USA we have a shortage.
It’s huge 😮
Thanks for the tours. I notice there are no dryers, only wash machines. Is it even possible to purchase one and get it installed? Is it a cultural thing of limited clothing, so less laundry, or a money saving habit? Beautiful developements, I hope it doesn't turn into the horrible situation China now is having. Looking forward to the next video.😁
You can get dryers or a washer dryers if you want but generally people use the smaller balcony to hang their clothes out to dry. An indoor rack is also enough for a single wash. Antalya is never really cold and gets a lot of sunshine so dryers are only needed for 2 months or so.
We’ve actually learned how to hang clothes quite a bit as we travel around Europe, dryers are not near as common as in the United States. If we put a dryer in the search for an Airbnb and also include pets allowed, we will have no choices to choose from. They can be bought, we have one in our home in Montenegro, but it is an exception. We went with the ventless model.
I've been waiting for your reports from the Antalya region. At 62 years of age, I have been researching the possibility of buying a 2nd home abroad, and maybe even retiring somewhere permanently. I have been studying Antalya, and Alanya even more. Alanya is about a 90 minute drive east of Antalya. Alanya is a quaint little city,....a mini-Antalya you might say, and prices there can be even cheaper than Antalya, if chosen carefully. Will you be traveling to Alanya?
What appeals to me about this region of Turkey is,....you get mild weather in winter, but it will get HOT (close to 40 degrees C.), with almost no rain in summer . This area "almost" has a California feel to it, as you have the mountains to the north, and the Mediterranean Sea to the south, with many great beaches. The Antalya region was plagued by wildfires last summer, that were a bit slow to be contained by the government.
Turkey is a place that COULD check most of the boxes for any retiree. From my research, I have learned that Turkey has great potential for the future. A young, educated workforce. They manufacture many of their own products (the U.S. needs to learn that lesson). Prices by U.S. standards are way more than reasonable, as evidenced in your last video. Turkey appears to be a safer country from a crime perspective. The U.S. is becoming out of control crime wise. Turkish people seem to be genuinely welcoming of foreigners, and people who don't speak Turkish. In Antalya and Alanya, there is a huge Russian-speaking population, and many people from Europe and the Arab countries either own 2nd homes there, or have relocated to Turkey. Healthcare and dental has been reported to be excellent. The Turkish Lira has been in decline lately, making prices of homes and goods, even more affordable. I am NO expert on Turkey. In fact, I have never even traveled there. Warren and Julie have already learned more about Turkey in a couple weeks, than I have doing months of research. (I'll get off my soap box now).
Thanks for your assessment on Antalya. Love the way the homes are built here and the price and the amenities. US home builders can learn from these guys. I noted what you said about 40C temp in Summer. I love Turkey and sure what to escape the Texas summer. I love Turkey and its proximity to visit Europe and sure there must be some parts of the country that have milder summer. I saw in one video they had a nice meal for 4 for $9.00 Thats sweet. Your $$ will go a long way in Turkey and tired of the daily crime in the US, escalating health care cost, lawlessness, and the govt not taking care of Illegal immigration etc etc.
@@cookmaster3626 - Thanks for appreciating my comments. There are some negatives to living in Antalya. The city doesn't have a ton of consumer conveniences, like most any American city with similar population. Lack of shopping options might be a detractor. Furniture, electronics, department stores, automobiles, etc., do exist there, but not as many options for places to purchase, and price compare. Cars are expensive to buy there, but supposedly they don't depreciate much either. I assume auto insurance is less expensive there? Just like the maintenance fee of any of those apartment buildings. Average fee is about $20/month. I pay $415/month for my HOA fee in a Florida condo. Most restaurants there look like the cheap, touristy places, with picture menu's on the street, and someone on the sidewalk trying to rope in unsuspecting tourists. Antalya and Alanya do have a lot of historical and cultural things to do. Antalya has an amusement park, a large aquarium, plenty of places for swimming, and the adjacent mountains offer lots of natural preserve. It might be cool to own a 2nd home there, and just visit for a few months per year. As for a cooler environment during summer, maybe some place closer to Istanbul, which is further north?
My thoughts are on living a minimalist living (bare min items) ,easy to move around, and living 6 months a year in Europe using the Schengen 90/180 day rule and the remaining 6 months in a non Schengen country / Malaysia (90 days). This way i get to travel most countries in Europe and spend time in a relaxed manner in the neighboring areas. Spain is a pretty low cost living if you choose to be in the coastal area like Alicante and south of there.
Hello
What about apartment rate in theses days ?
We hope to have an update on the prices this year. We are returning to Turkey soon.
Was nice. Do u have any now for sale ?
Please see the realtors information in the video description.
Do you pay cash or are there financing options?
Mostly done in cash, some builders may let you make installments on a new project. If so it is probably in Euro or Dollars.
Did any of these apartments have amenities nearby or were they all in the middle of nowhere?
Yes, they all had restaurants and shopping within a close walkable proximity.
I sent a message to Turkeydar this morning. I’m really interested in finding out more
@@elterrifico9522 awesome 👏

Hi but I heard the build quality is very bad. The walls are thin
Each development is different, you need to check for yourself. I didn’t notice thin walls in our visits.
Do those dogs bark non stop at night ?
No
My dream is to retire either in Turkey or Albania.
Great choices. We still have much more exploration of Albania to do. The Albanian Alps are absolutely beautiful. There is so much untouched nature there.
By the way I'm Canadian retirement and I would like to move to turkey.
I also live on Canada. I want to retire in turkey. Please contact me I need some information from you. I live in Toronto

Hi my name is Helen me and my sister looking for agent in antalya and advice ? thank you !
Please see the video description for the agents information.
Too expensive, didn’t mention how far these projects from city Center, public transport and malls etc.
Public transportation is pretty good all over the area. Shopping is everywhere if needed. Not sure what your pricing reference is to say the properties are too expensive.
i think 2 person my be little. old. retired need little apartment. abaut 50mq..only. ...!
this food 9$?? here in Italy you will get a beer. 2 tomato
Please Respect, Use "Turkiye" now, Instead of "Turkey", Already Change Recently
I heard about this the other day. I’ll put it in the search terms. Until it becomes dominant in English speaking countries though I’ll continue to show Turkey. Otherwise no one will find our videos when searching for information on Turkey/ Turkiye. Virtually no one is searching for Turkiye videos yet. It’s still shown as a misspelling in Google which autocorrects to Turkey.
I respect the turkish people and not its government that wants to change its name = totally insane and stupid because it wants to sound young & trendy
I find these buildings are too expensive with no views and very loud. I purchased a couple of properties in the US for that price and I am renting them for over $1000.
Everyone has their own ideas of what works for them. Rental yields are often much more lucrative in the US.
I never thought Antalya can be cold. It is a desert and it's so hot in summer people have trouble going outside. It reaches 50 degrees celsius often in summer
desert? what u talking about.
there's no desert, the area is very green and filled with pine trees.
@@davec1615 no i mean the heat is too bad when I was there, it was 50 degrees 3 days.
Then stay where you are
You said you were in Antalya, but if you truly have been in Antalya before, you would know Antalya is not a desert. It just gets pretty warm in the summer like Forida.
🙏🙏👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍🙏🙏
Thanks 😊

So stupid to have a sauna in Antalya !!! Just go outside.
It snowed in January. It's not always hot.
