    I’m not sure how this ended up in my suggested videos but I’m glad it did. It’s great seeing the everyday build. Not everyone can afford a 700hp H2B or 2JZ like I’m ATTEMPTING. At the end of the day, WHP is WHP. Who cares what motor you use to get there!

      That's truth.. and people don't know lots of things, like D serie actually make more Nm by horse power than a B or K series because of sohc (yes, a b series handles more power/kw than a d series (with similiar builds). It almost hurts to hear this is a vx originally. I've wanted to find a stock vx for a long time now. I love trying to get the best mpg from these cars and the vx had a really interesting engine that was capable of 60+ mpg. You do some great work though, these are good videos.

    • @hatchbackturbo93
      @hatchbackturbo93  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Car hasn't been stock in 19 years. You could always get a Vtec-e from a jdm dealer and put it in any model you want.

    • @xex2kok
      @xex2kok 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@hatchbackturbo93 Most civics have not been stock in some way in about that long I'd say. They are really old at this point and been through a lot lol. Yeah you can buy a motor assuming you can even find them, it's tough. A full swap is even tougher to get. Most importers don't list them as there isn't a big market for getting up to 80 mpg in a civic I guess.
      Also it feels a little pointless to do a swap like that when you can just wait and find vx and just buy that. It will take a lot more time but you can spend like $1000 on the car rather than god knows how much having a shop swap that engine for you. Not everyone can do that work at home unfortunately.
