Solved - Why won’t my AC Blow Air (Pontiac Vibe)

The air conditioning stopped working during the dead of summer in our Pontiac Vibe. It would come on only sporadically and sometimes with a little nudge, literally. This video shows an easy removal and replacement of the blower motor in our 2005 pontiac vibe. After a 15 minute replacement our Pontiac Vibe's air conditioner is back to 100%! No reason to send it to the dump!

lol. You could just take the glove compartment out and tap on the fan with the back of a screwdriver or anything hard. Just enough to overcome the friction hold the fan stopped. Don’t forget there is an airbag on the dash when you think about banging hard on the dashboard. Although it is extremely unlikely if not impossible to actually make it deploy like that.

Your welcome. Just be sure to tap the blower directly and it will take much less to get it going.

Mine was doing the same thing after purchasing a new blower we realize it wasn't the blower but a shortage in the electrical wiring a connection is loose is why it responds bye hitting and shaking that wire connector

I didn’t check for that, but when I removed the connectors they definitely weren’t loose. That said, it’s a great comment for others to check!

Initial guess is that is the blend door actuator. It would need to be replaced.
