2008 Ranger. After removing dash(per diagnosis by Ford dealer)and finding nothing, finally decided to check fan rotation, and the fan was wired backwards. Swapped wires on plug and Sha-zam! Works great!
Factory plug plugged into fan motor, looked at "plane of rotation" arrow and turned on fan. It was running backwards. Polarity was reversed. Just snipped the wires at the plug and reversed them.@@edwarddavis4091
I noticed that on my wife 2014 buick enclave the front air vents were blowing a weak air flow compared to the rear system. Even on recirculation setting and full blower speed it feels like it was on a medium setting or so. Returning from a vacation trip on a hot day I decided to pull the cabin filter with the system running. I started pulling the filter off his compartment with the blower fan on full mode it started blowing double or more. I can't believe how much restriction was made by a couple of years old cabin filter. Bottom line check and replace your cabin air filter every year or two depending whe do you leave.
I have weak but cool air flow with air-conditioning and full flow when I run heat. I'll check everything you mentioned to be thorough but none of those sound like they would affect one and not the other. 🤔
Just learned the hard way if you run the fan on high through the car wash it sucks humidity dampness into air filter and materials in air filter expand turn it blue and plug the air flow even after it's dried out it is ruined. Brand new air filters are normally white. probably that's why they turn blue when that stuff expands and filter is ruined. $20 AutoZone. I have 2008 Toyota Camry maybe more prone than other vehicles. Around the fan on high in my 2019 Honda Odyssey and that does not happen. But I won't temp fate anymore.
2007 accord ac works great..after about 2 hours of use the air flow stops blowing from all vents...motor is still running..i did install after market radio with dual ac controls..was wondering if radio is over heating or the cause of this issue
But if the air flow is weak in certain vents? I have a 94 Camry LE 3.0 and the side vents work fine but the two front middle vents barely have any air coming out. Vents are open. Could it be the actuator?
Thank you buddy I heard a high pitched whistle and thought maybe the filter. Buttt the first 5 mins answered that 😂😅 had the vents closed 🤦♂️ thank you !
What about if you're changing from defrost, to dash air, to floor air, etc. Found ours doesn't seem to function, and we're getting weak airflow. I assumed the motor was an issue, but didn't see that in this vid.
What if it’s just one vent that has weak air flow? Could it be a clog? My driver side vent next to the window is kinda weak. All the others have strong flow.
I have a 1999 camry, doesn’t have a cabin air filter but I’m having a problem where I put the fan on high it works fine on the driver side but passenger feels like it’s on low. Any idea what could be causing this ?
Whats causing only vent to work and feet I can't get windshield to work and driver side only blows warm on 34 setting it 12 it blows cold like passenger side does whats the issue any help!!!!!!
@@AZHighlandHomestead battery? its new , I took out the cabin air filter, now it blows hard but not ice cold like it does when you drive . Just passable cold. I wish it would stay the same cause its 110F here.
@@AZHighlandHomestead might be the belt cause i think the ac would not blow as hard if i were driving, well not the hard blowing, i mean the ice cold blowing, Yeah cause it feels like an icebox inside, when idling 3min it feels like its throwing air maybe the same speed now after changing cabin filter but not icy cold, just cold and you start feeling the heat from the windows and roof , once driving its back to an icebox .lol
Didn’t help me. Replaced blower and resistor and made sure air intake under the cowl was clear. Ran without cabin air filter. My 2009 Tacoma doesn’t have closure dials either. Getting about 1/4 volume of air through vents and the blower, blower speeds, temperature adjustment all work fine. Might have take apart dash to find where the clog is.
I love people who do videos like this on TH-cam. You're awesome

My blower works. The filter is a little dirty but even when I remove it the air won’t flow.
Thank you 🌸
Hi! The air is not blowing on the feet but everywhere else it does. What it could be?
Hi tbx for the video i have a qwq Q if i buy a biger blow motor and can be fix to ky car is that better air flow coming? Or i will get problem soon?

Ever figure this out, having the same issue
@@williamruss7752, Yes mine turned out to be the blower motor resistor stuck in one setting
My 96 s10 the ac only blows hard and changes vent modes when the hood is open. I’m at a loss.

I have this same issue unsure what it is
Very helpful.
What if there is a hole in the hose from the blower motor to the dash vent-box, can that cause a weak air-flow?
For me it's only one vent? Assuming it's clogged?
