I can’t believe that you just mentioned vitamin b6 as the cause. My husband had a sudden onset of his feet burning (just on the bottoms) all day long, coupled with bilateral lower leg weakness. We’ve been to a neurologist and no one can figure out what’s wrong. I started reading everything I could and I finally came across the biggest cause of burning feet being a deficiency of B12; however, his blood level came back very high. It just didn’t make sense! Until, finally I came across an article that was written overseas stipulating that when people get too much vitamin b6 it causes neuropathy, the same as if you don’t get enough. The problem is that we all probably get enough b6 in our daily diets, but then we take different supplements that also contain it. There are several over the counter medications that contain it as well. As soon as I took my husband off of zinc and his multivitamin it went away. We couldn’t believe it! I’m so glad to hear that someone else discovered this too. How did you learn this?
Good timing I have been suffering for a couple of years now and finally have an appointment with a specialist next month. My doctor doesn’t really know how to treat it but has been prescribing Lyrica which makes me very woozy but is effective at controlling the pain

I watched the video very carefully because I have had burning numb balls of my feet for about 6 years. I was given gabapentin and Tramadol. I had an MRI I had a nerve conduction test I have blood work and everything checks out fine. I have no other symptoms that you described in your video. But the neurologist put me on a medication for Parkinson's Disease. Don't have that either. My feet burn when I put my shoes on and they're only certain types of socks that I can wear. I see a podiatrist the end of December and I hope finally this problem will be solved because I do not like taking medication. I watch all of your videos and I thank you for the info.

Hi doctor. I would not normally reach out like this, but I think you might be interested in how terrible my situation is. I have seen your Vitamin D video. I started taking 10K IU from October 2019. I developed neuropathy on the bottom of my feet. At some point and for some reason, on top of that, I developed edema, where every time I eat the foot would flood. I researched and found that Kidneys may have something to do with my problem. I decided to cut the Vitamin D to 5k IU. I was also taking the magnesium, and Qunol Turmeric, and I thought the Turmeric might be the problem so I cut that. Now I started with a water pill, Lippet which changed the character of the problem. I awaken in the morning and all I have is the neuropathy, I look and my feet and the edema is 90% gone. However, as I eat through the day, the edema returns, and if I eat bread, the foot gets so full, it feels like a balloon getting ready to burst. So, I have stopped eating bread. Additionally, I have skin eruptions that become blisters, the blisters burst and fluid, clear fluid, runs down the leg from that blister point. I have no idea what is going on. I treat it with ointment and wrap it. My skin is discolored as if some areas have died. It is not so painful. there are a few blister points. The major problem area is from about the mid-shin to the bottom of the feet. On the 25th of November, I believe I had a stroke. Sitting at the computer, as I have sleep apnea, I awoke from an episode and my right arm felt like it was asleep. I tried to recover it, but it wouldn't recover for a while. I didn't know what was going on. After a while, I began to get feeling back in my arm, but it wasn't right. It felt like something that had been tight was loosened and the arm would uncontrollably roll to the right. At first, I had trouble typing, but that cleared up. This evening I attempted to hold a hot cup of coffee with one hand, the right one, and it rolled and I over-recovered and ended up burning myself a bit. It is unusual.
I researched and learned, the only possible thing that can be wrong, is that I had a stroke. I take quite of few heart supplementation tablets, and I am positive they are why I am not in a hospital bed or worse. I caused the issue. I am usually fastidious with my diet, but that morning I went a little berserk. 5 pieces of bacon, not cooked well, 3 eggs, scrambled with a ridiculous amount of shredded cheese. I never put that amount of cheese in my eggs, but I did that morning, and at 6 pm I had a stroke. I'll be 68 and should have known better. So, my hospital is the VA, I have been hesitant to go there, some kind of phobia, I believe. I am afraid they will cut my feet off without asking my permission is why I have not sought help. So, doctor, I would appreciate any information or advice you could give me. If you could tell me what you think is wrong I could communicate that and maybe not risk getting misdiagnosed. HI, sorry you are dealing with all that pain. I prefer to find self help solutions as well. I suddenly had very painful and red, swollen feet last summer - right after eating a bagel for the first time in years. I have since ditched gluten and my feet are no longer swollen or red. Sometimes I still feel neuropathy but I don't need pain pills like I used to, because now I eat mostly anti-inflammatory foods. I suggest you look into that. No additonal cost, since you have to eat something anyway! Don't feed your body foods that cause inflammation and pain. The breakfast you mentioned above is a ticket to Painville! Bacon and lots of cheese is not good for the heart! I suffer from edema and was told that eating dandelion really works wonders. I haven't tried that yet. However, I do use a mini bounder/trampoline (bungee not springs) which works wonders with lymphatic drainage and brings down the edema. 1/2 hour a day with just moderate bouncing 5 times a week works well. It is also good for circulation and the heart as well as having many more benefits. I appreciate this may not be the solution for you as you have a lot going on with your body and need to get specialist help. Then having said that I do not medicate and look to natural remedies. I use a teaspoon of tumeric, ginger, organic ceylon cinnamon,, 2 squeezed lemons in water taken hot. I find this detoxes the body. I eat lots of salads. Avocadoes, beetroot and garlic dilate the arteries and bring down high blood pressure. It sounds to me as if you really need to cleanse your body!
@@taniayager3361 Thank you for your info - I have red, peeling, sometimes-swollen feet with intermittent tingling & numbness. I had a mini rebounder with springs, second-hand, originally good quality, but the springs squeaked really unsettlingly tho I tried to grease then etc. I have a bungee rebounder still in its box as I need help to assemble it and to make space to use it easily - I am aware it helps lymph & basically every cell but am grateful for your specific comments about edema & neuropathy, which are encouraging me to prioritise getting on with using the rebounder. I also take turmeric & various other anti-inflammatories, but been in difficult dental situation for several years, & struggle with comfort-eating & craving sweet things. I think I am better without gluten tho have no discernable obvious immediate reaction, just minimise grains, but your comment causes me to consider again, plus a friend who does react more obviously. I aware I have 'leaky gut'. Juice Plus, & Clean Slate ie Root brands products, plus collagen, & bone broth paste & powder, hopefully helping. Indeed cleansing! Watched some inspiring videos about Breatharianism, a guy Wim in Sweden, & Ray Maor.. I always instinctively knew it's possible but feel far from being able yo do it, but people are learning, adapting to live on prana.. our bodies are fabulous! My toes burn every night when I lay down to go to bed. It usually lasts for about an hour and then my feet/toes feel OK. I never get the burning feeling during the day, only at night when I lay down to go to sleep. I would think if I have neuropathy, my toes would burn all the time?

Thankyou Doc for your informative videos. I like how you explain everything so thorougly in a kind and comforting voice. Can you please tell me what can I do for my digestive issues. I cannot digest food properly I feel full all the time in my upper track, feeling sore on the right side and having lots of gas. I have difficulty getting the gas out through burping but no problem passing it out at the other end. I have no gall bladder and had a complete hysterectomy! Also I got sciatica nerve pain my left foot the calf feels tight hurting all the time and the top of my foot hurts as well, would appreciate it very much. Ps I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done 5 months ago doctor said everything looks good. I have another endoscopy schedule for Feburary 2023. Sorry for this long comment. Hi Doctor. Am in tears. I cant do the pain, burning , numbness and swelling of my feet and legs anymore. I have tried neurologists and physicians over the 9yrs. From herbal remedies to strong medication eg tramadol and lyrica, nothing helps. I cant use shoes cause it feels as though my feet are twisting on and the what seems like knots under my feet is killer. Great video and very helpful. But ppl need to be careful with b six related neuropathy. Many countries are regulating the amount of b six in supps now as they cause and did cause in my far worse neuropaathy than necessary. But thankyou for the nerve compression issues - i think these are the biggest cause for me.

Mine were like that at first, too...then one day, started burning/tingling & haven't stopped since! I do NOT DRINK ALCOHOL! Hurt more at night probably bcuz no distractions & I'm trying to sleep! Can't wear tight shoes, like tennis shoes! Painful stuff!😥

Wish something would work for me. I've tried meds, topicals, exercise, orthotic shoes,. I have small nerve neuropathy, was diagnosed 10yrs ago.I'm not diabetic, don't drink anything but water, I eat a healthy diet. They doctors don't know the cause except I've worked on my feet in High heals, then steel toed boots for 30+. I have a blood disorder, Lupus, Leukemia(CLL). I've been through chemo once 5 years ago and I just relapsed. I'm actually to unhealthy to start chemo. I'll need several blood transfusions to get my white counts under control. I'm assuming the neuropathy has to do with one or more of my main health problems like cancer. I'm just looking for something to treat my feet while sleeping. A home remedy that will cool and relive the throbbing pain. In the morning I can barely walk. I have done foot masks that give temporary relief. They are to expensive to do very often.

My 4 th and 5th toes get numb and sometimes the middle of my feet Top and sometimes bottom I’ll feel shooting pain that goes up my leg, but I got into a car accident 4 months back, and my lower back feels weird I think sciatica not sure. Got the Cortizone shot in my feet it didn’t do anything. My job I was standing for 10 hours but now only doing 5 hours but I need help on fixing this horrible problem. All doctors says it's diabetis but I don't have diabetis how many times I had sugar blood test! But my blood sugar is on the good level, they said I'm consuming alcohol but I'm not drinking alcohol! I have been using Thyroid Harmony. Thyroid medicine synthroid and levitroxn the generic name for synthroid. They made me feel worse and my blood test numbers never got any better. Dr juzt kept raising the strength which made it worse. No energy...HELP

Dr. What about nerve pain due to tuberculosis in the spi ne. Doctors have run out of possible treatments so I continue with 3.3kmg Of gabapentine for 8 years now. Hard living in pain.
I have suffered with this for about 15yrs. I only get it at night. It's not as bad as it used to be as it used to feel like I had a bad burn on the soles of my feet. I have to keep a fan on at night. Luckily it's not as bad but still very uncomfortable. Dr does not know what it is.
I think that is a threshold to not cross. The crazy part is in the ER it's common to see people drinking an entire liquor bottle of 6-12 pack of beers at a time many times if not every day per week

I have been suffering from peripheral Neuropathy for 4 years. It started when I took diabetes medicine. When I stop the medication, the Neuropathy slowly subside. My doctor changed the medication, but the Neuropathy flares up again. When I stop taking medication, Neuropathy stop. I've been to so many kinds of diabetes medication including insulin and it all have the same effect, Neuropathy pain. In my case I am 100% sure my Neuropathy was caused by diabetes medicine. Because of the dozens of stopping and retaking medicine it came to a point that my Neuropathy is now permanent. My doctor never referred me to a foot doctor. Thank that I stumble on your video. I will see a podiatrist.

Whenever I take the B-vitamins, my numbness worsens!!
I had a glass of milk with some brewers yeast, this helped ease the burning a lot!!!

I watched the video very carefully because I have had burning numb balls of my feet for about 6 years. I was given gabapentin and Tramadol. I had an MRI I had a nerve conduction test I have blood work and everything checks out fine. I have no other symptoms that you described in your video. But the neurologist put me on a medication for Parkinson's Disease. Don't have that either. My feet burn when I put my shoes on and they're only certain types of socks that I can wear. I see a podiatrist the end of December and I hope finally this problem will be solved because I do not like taking medication. I watch all of your videos and I thank you for the info.

Hi doctor. I would not normally reach out like this, but I think you might be interested in how terrible my situation is.
I have seen your Vitamin D video. I started taking 10K IU from October 2019. I developed neuropathy on the bottom of my feet.
At some point and for some reason, on top of that, I developed edema, where every time I eat the foot would flood.
I researched and found that Kidneys may have something to do with my problem.
I decided to cut the Vitamin D to 5k IU. I was also taking the magnesium, and Qunol Turmeric, and I thought the Turmeric might be the problem so I cut that.
Now I started with a water pill, Lippet which changed the character of the problem. I awaken in the morning and all I have is the neuropathy, I look and my feet and the edema is 90% gone. However, as I eat through the day, the edema returns, and if I eat bread, the foot gets so full, it feels like a balloon getting ready to burst. So, I have stopped eating bread.
Additionally, I have skin eruptions that become blisters, the blisters burst and fluid, clear fluid, runs down the leg from that blister point. I have no idea what is going on. I treat it with ointment and wrap it. My skin is discolored as if some areas have died. It is not so painful. there are a few blister points.
The major problem area is from about the mid-shin to the bottom of the feet.
On the 25th of November, I believe I had a stroke. Sitting at the computer, as I have sleep apnea, I awoke from an episode and my right arm felt like it was asleep. I tried to recover it, but it wouldn't recover for a while. I didn't know what was going on. After a while, I began to get feeling back in my arm, but it wasn't right.
It felt like something that had been tight was loosened and the arm would uncontrollably roll to the right. At first, I had trouble typing, but that cleared up. This evening I attempted to hold a hot cup of coffee with one hand, the right one, and it rolled and I over-recovered and ended up burning myself a bit. It is unusual.
I researched and learned, the only possible thing that can be wrong, is that I had a stroke. I take quite of few heart supplementation tablets, and I am positive they are why I am not in a hospital bed or worse. I caused the issue.
I am usually fastidious with my diet, but that morning I went a little berserk. 5 pieces of bacon, not cooked well, 3 eggs, scrambled with a ridiculous amount of shredded cheese. I never put that amount of cheese in my eggs, but I did that morning, and at 6 pm I had a stroke. I'll be 68 and should have known better. So, my hospital is the VA, I have been hesitant to go there, some kind of phobia, I believe.
I am afraid they will cut my feet off without asking my permission is why I have not sought help.
So, doctor, I would appreciate any information or advice you could give me. If you could tell me what you think is wrong I could communicate that and maybe not risk getting misdiagnosed. If you have any questions to ask me, please do, thank you in advance.

HI, sorry you are dealing with all that pain. I prefer to find self help solutions as well. I suddenly had very painful and red, swollen feet last summer - right after eating a bagel for the first time in years. I have since ditched gluten and my feet are no longer swollen or red.
Sometimes I still feel neuropathy but I don't need pain pills like I used to, because now I eat mostly anti-inflammatory foods. I suggest you look into that. No additonal cost, since you have to eat something anyway! Don't feed your body foods that cause inflammation and pain. The breakfast you mentioned above is a ticket to Painville! Bacon and lots of cheese is not good for the heart! I suffer from edema and was told that eating dandelion really works wonders. I haven't tried that yet.
However, I do use a mini bounder/trampoline (bungee not springs) which works wonders with lymphatic drainage and brings down the edema. 1/2 hour a day with just moderate bouncing 5 times a week works well. It is also good for circulation and the heart as well as having many more benefits.
I appreciate this may not be the solution for you as you have a lot going on with your body and need to get specialist help. Then having said that I do not medicate and look to natural remedies.
I use a teaspoon of tumeric, ginger, organic ceylon cinnamon,, 2 squeezed lemons in water taken hot. I find this detoxes the body. I eat lots of salads. Avocadoes, beetroot and garlic dilate the arteries and bring down high blood pressure.
It sounds to me as if you really need to cleanse your body!

I had a mini rebounder with springs, second-hand, originally good quality, but the springs squeaked really unsettlingly tho I tried to grease then etc. I have a bungee rebounder still in its box as I need help to assemble it and to make space to use it easily - I am aware it helps lymph & basically every cell but am grateful for your specific comments about edema & neuropathy, which are encouraging me to prioritise getting on with using the rebounder. I also take turmeric & various other anti-inflammatories, but been in difficult dental situation for several years, & struggle with comfort-eating & craving sweet things. I think I am better without gluten tho have no discernable obvious immediate reaction, just minimise grains, but your comment causes me to consider again, plus a friend who does react more obviously. I aware I have 'leaky gut'. Juice Plus, & Clean Slate ie Root brands products, plus collagen, & bone broth paste & powder, hopefully helping.

I always instinctively knew it's possible but feel far from being able yo do it, but people are learning, adapting to live on prana.. our bodies are fabulous! My toes burn every night when I lay down to go to bed. It usually lasts for about an hour and then my feet/toes feel OK. I never get the burning feeling during the day, only at night when I lay down to go to sleep. I would think if I have neuropathy, my toes would burn all the time?

I cannot digest food properly I feel full all the time in my upper track, feeling sore on the right side and having lots of gas. Great video and very helpful. But ppl need to be careful with b six related neuropathy. Many countries are regulating the amount of b six in supps now as they cause and did cause in my far worse neuropaathy than necessary. But thankyou for the nerve compression issues - i think these are the biggest cause for me.

Wish something would work for me. I've tried meds, topicals, exercise, orthotic shoes,. I have small nerve neuropathy, was diagnosed 10yrs ago.I'm not diabetic, don't drink anything but water, I eat a healthy diet. They doctors don't know the cause except I've worked on my feet in High heals, then steel toed boots for 30+. I have a blood disorder, Lupus, Leukemia(CLL). I've been through chemo once 5 years ago and I just relapsed. I'm actually to unhealthy to start chemo. I'll need several blood transfusions to get my white counts under control. I'm assuming the neuropathy has to do with one or more of my main health problems like cancer. I'm just looking for something to treat my feet while sleeping. A home remedy that will cool and relive the throbbing pain. In the morning I can barely walk. I have done foot masks that give temporary relief. They are to expensive to do very often.
Try R-Alpha Lipoic acid... it does help me..... kinda in the same boat... good luck and i pray for your healing. Walmart and Amazon carry this.

I have been using Thyroid Harmony. Thyroid medicine synthroid and levitroxn the generic name for synthroid. They made me feel worse and my blood test numbers never got any better. Dr juzt kept raising the strength which made it worse. No energy...HELP
Vit b2 helps me with that. I dont know why i seem to be chronically laking it. I dont do drinks .

I have suffered with this for about 15yrs. I only get it at night. It's not as bad as it used to be as it used to feel like I had a bad burn on the soles of my feet. I have to keep a fan on at night. Luckily it's not as bad but still very uncomfortable. Dr does not know what it is.

I think that is a threshold to not cross. The crazy part is in the ER it's common to see people drinking an entire liquor bottle of 6-12 pack of beers at a time many times if not every day per week

Hell, my best friend drink about a 12 pack a day, on any given day. No joke.

I have been suffering from peripheral Neuropathy for 4 years. It started when I took diabetes medicine. When I stop the medication, the Neuropathy slowly subside.
My doctor changed the medication, but the Neuropathy flares up again. When I stop taking medication, Neuropathy stop. I've been to so many kinds of diabetes medication including insulin and it all have the same effect, Neuropathy pain.
In my case I am 100% sure my Neuropathy was caused by diabetes medicine.
Because of the dozens of stopping and retaking medicine it came to a point that my Neuropathy is now permanent. My doctor never referred me to a foot doctor. Thank that I stumble on your video.
I will see a podiatrist.
