Everyone should eat based on how the foods make them feel. I have arthritis & discovered there are some I absolutely can't eat.
All plants in the nightshade family (tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, eggplant, etc.) result in agonizing joint pain...along with foods that contain oxalates (too many to list here). I had heard turmeric is a great anti-inflammatory & bought some capsules. After ingesting them for several days, I developed severe shin-splints!! Yeah, I couldn't imagine what caused it so, I did the process of elimination. The question, when something inexplicable happens, is, "What have I been eating or doing differently?" So, I stopped the turmeric capsules & the pain went away. About a week later, I started again with the turmeric (followed the directions, as before) & experienced the same painful result!! Turmeric is high in oxalates, as is spinach, & many other vegetables. There are still vegetables & fruits I can eat. Legumes & most nuts are off the table, too.
To be healthy, people must do their own research & try-see what works for them.

Doing intermittent fasting, 2 meals or OMD and had helped me a lot. My hands are feeling better and my weight was down to 117 pounds and I got more energy. Thank you for all this educational information.

I became a vegetarian as a recommendation of a friend in a bid to combat my then joint pain. I've now been a vegetarian since 2015 and it was the best advice I ever received. As I had terrible knee pain which other than the off twinge once in a blue moon, I am now completely knee pain free. Of late though had some hand pain, which I think maybe down to RSI (Repetitive strain injury) from years of boxing training. 37 years to be exact. I think its finally caught up to me, so I'm now looking for solutions to combat that too.

Putting myself on a low sugar and low fat diet, especially low saturated fats, has made a huge difference. Not only have I lost 80 pounds but it's improved my arthritis dramatically. It means I can now stand up without crying in pain. Came off my diet at Christmas, consumed a ton of sugar and fat and was in agony again. Unfortunately on this diet, I can't give up aspartame. My arthritic spine is so much better on what I've been doing for 14 months.

I just ate one bag of SunBites Grain waves cheddar Chips and have very bad Reflux / Heart Burn. Initially just after eating them, I felt slightly high from them. I have not felt like that for so long because I eat no junk food for so long. Just goes to show you how bad junk food is. Here is ingredients:
Wholegrain Cereals (68%) (Corn (41%), Wheat (23%), Oats (4%)), Sunflower Oil And/Or Canola Oil, Sugar, Rice, Maltodextrin, Whey Powder (Milk), Cheese Powder (Milk), Salt, Yeast Extract, Buttermilk Powder (Milk), Mineral Salt (Potassium Chloride), Onion Powder, Natural Flavours (Milk), Garlic Powder, Food Acid (Citric Acid), Spice (Black Pepper), Natural Colour (Paprika Extract), Antioxidants (Tocopherols, Ascorbic Acid, Rosemary Extract).
    My quick break down:
    Cereals BAD,
    Corn BAD,
    Wheat BAD,
    Oats BAD,
Sunflower Oil And/Or Canola Oil BAD (ALL these GMO)
    Sugar BAD,
    Rice BAD GMO,
    Maltodextrin BAD,
    Whey Powder (Milk) Aluminum,
    Cheese Powder (Milk) Aluminum,
    Salt Aluminum,
    Yeast Extract,
    Buttermilk Powder (Milk) Aluminum,
Mineral Salt (Potassium Chloride) NOT NaCl - BAD Salt and Aluminum,
    Onion Powder Aluminum,
Natural Flavours (Milk) - could be any number of chemicals,
    Garlic Powder Aluminum,
    Food Acid (Citric Acid) ???,
    Spice (Black Pepper),
Natural Colour (Paprika Extract), Antioxidants (Tocopherols, Ascorbic Acid, Rosemary Extract) - chemicals used for extraction.
Extract: Unlisted chemicals used in extraction process.
Aluminum: Salt and most powders nowadays used Neurotoxic Aluminum based anti caking agents.
    A bag of poisons.
And Happy Alzheimer's Day to boot.

Indeed, it is no coincidence that mass produced, processed foods made at scale, killing the nutients while refining into high glycemic index greatly widens the big food cos profit margins and our waistlines! Shelf life is nearly unlimited especially with refined oils and hydrogenated oils, margarine etc. Of course the big pharma companies cross owned by big food cos also profit greatly by causing nationwide chronic lifeling diseases to "treat" with toxic often patent priced drugs!

If you absolutely can't do pepper at all just do a bit of olive oil. Turmeric doesn't have to be with black prpper as long as you have a good oil with it; even ghee, butter, coconut oil, avocado oil, walnut oil. Just don't go overboard.

I got RA, was in mass pain after hike, knew I'd b cramping up soon so I preemptively applied magnesium gel all over legs and arms & laid down. It's sticky & tacky so my plan was to shower off in a half hour, instead I fell asleep & slept 9 hours straight (first time in years) and woke up with no pain, well rested and so I got magnesium lotion to put on daily. My restless leg issues have lessened, enough to get off meds. I stumbled upon this, I see how deficient I am in magnesium so I'm also taking supplement. I don't know if this will help you but there's a chance it may. My rheumatologist took me off Enbrel a few months after I started topical & ingesting magnesium. Now, there r many forms of magnesium supplements, so research the different kinds. I never saw life without Enbrel, I still take my hydroxychloriquine but there's still hope.

      @@timelessmusicfamilymusic9175 I hope they're not plastic bottles!
We are all so busy and convenience is the thing which robs us of those little pleasures of every day life, like brewing a pot of tea. Waiting for it, putting out beautiful cups, the best ones you have for every day, so every day is a special day!
I used to do that for my husband and our children! Made it all so pretty is if the queen of England were coming to tea! It only took minutes for me to make all so pretty.
It's not about the money, it's all about love.
Love your family and do everything for them the very best you can.
If something goes wrong, you'll always know, you did your best.
Don't use plastics in the kitchen as they all seep into the food one way or another and you'll get all sorts of diseases.
Even newly born babies have been found with high levels phthalates, a neurotoxin which is present in most of items baby will come in contact, like toys, furniture, vinyl floor, shampoo, soap, hair spray, perfume etc but they aren't even listed in the ingredients!!!
Babies have 15 times more micro-plastics in their bodies than adults , because they put everything to their mouths!
Lots of plastic items are made cheaply and their chemical bonds aren't strong enough, so it means that small amount are being released into the surroundings and they end up in human bodies!
Let's us brew this wonderful pot of tea now, from loose tea, not tea bags of course!
Best of everything for my family.
Can you smell the tea brewing? 🤗♥️🫖☕️

Hi - another good video that I enjoyed watching. I do, however have some questions and comments for you. I am a Type 2 Insulin dependant Diabetic, I also have Osteoarthritis. My goal is to reduce my Inflammation which will reduce my Pain. I have Diabetic neuropathy in my feet and nerve damage in my left foot due to breaking my foot, which causes great pain. Needless to say, I'm on a brand new very restrictive Diet, I do have a question regarding the list of oils in your video. I didn't think "Peanut oil" was a very good oil to be eating. And the video mentioned not eating Salmon? Really? Why? and Poultry? Why? I can't use Turmeric because I am on Aspirin and Plavix. But are there really Omega-6 fatty acids in Fish Oils? I take Fish oils every day for the benefit of consuming Omega-3 fatty acids for my High Triglycerides. Can you clarify all of this for me?

Generally any painful condition makes it significantly more likely to have a gout attack in that area due to inflammation. So the answer is that they are separate, but make each other more common in that area.

I just found you just scrolling and I'm soo glad. I recently in the last 2 years have gone from a young, healthy, athletic, outgoing, happy go lucky girl to an unhealthy/sickly, depressed, inverted, hermit - all because of covid & the pandemic.
I first got covid in September of 2020 and it was really bad - it was like having pneumonia, but ten times worse.
I was sick for 2/3 weeks, and after everything, I never got back to 100%, since. 🤢
I got the Pfizer vaccine in March of 2021.
I got covid AGAIN in December of 2021, and it was more of a body aching, feverish type of sickness.
(unlike the first bout, which was shortness of breathe, stuffy nose, lungs filled with phlegm, I couldn't breathe, couldn't walk, etc.)
I was sick for the same amount of time, 2/3 wks.
I'm not even the same person, physically or mentally.
I got a second Pfizer vax in March of 2022.
I now am considered a Long Hauler, STILL a year and a half later. I have serious brain fog, shortness of breath when doing anything strenuous, my extremities are constantly swollen, numb & painful. Migraines, insomnia, depression, extreme fatigue. I've tried all kinds of things, vitamins, extracts, holistic healing stuff, etc. My doctors have done ultrasounds, xrays, echocardiograms, dye tests, exercise tests, bloodwork, etc - it looks like i have blood clots & microclotting in my brain

I haven't had soda in 22 years, no meat for 24, no more than 1 tablespoon of extra virgem cold processed organic olive oil a day, no caffeine for 35 years, no deep fried foods, 99%of what I eat is organic , 12 glasses of water a day... and the list goes on and on...and I'm still feeling like nothing is helping me.
    Completely frustrated.

Hey, if you can afford to, I’d see a nutritionist to check you are getting enough essential vitamins and minerals. From what you have described, you might be low in omega 3 unless you eat lots of nuts, seeds, avocados etc. I take algae derived omega 3 every day too as it can be hard to absorb it from nuts and seeds. Are you taking B12 too? I eat a similar diet to you but supplement with B12, omega 3 and vitamin D3 (with K2 added.)

What about virgin olive oil is it safe a teaspoon a day.

    • @pedclarkemobile
      @pedclarkemobile ปีที่แล้ว +2

Olive oil was first on the table showing "good fats". The only risk with OO is that it has a fairly low 'smoke point' so should not be used for prolonged high temperature frying because it breaks down and toxic compounds are formed. (Also all oils exposed to air gradually oxidise & become less healthy, fresh is best and when stored for long periods make sure the bottle is full so that availability of air/ oxygen is minimised).

Gout used to be the disease of kings as they ate so much meat. I was in a wheelchair with arthritis, of the gouty-type. I cut out all dairy and all meats, chicken, fish, all seafood, and though I still have that wheelchair, I never have to use it. There is no meal so wonderful that it is worth the sort of pain I was in.
My mother had a total hip replacement only to have the glue break loose in her bone ten years later. But our bones renew themselves in ten years, so how is there going to be a kind of glue which works even with bone renewal? My aunt had both her knees replaced. Both my father and uncle passed away with Alzheimer’s disease. My cousin’s wife, also had her knees replaced. She was no genetic relation to her mother-in-law, my aunt. What was similar was their DIET!
We keep telling ourselves that we are eating a healthy diet. No, if we are incapacitated in a wheelchair, I decided to go after the facts myself. Doctors make money selling drugs, they do not cure a damn thing except for antibiotics and their use has to be limited too. We should not expect doctors to be our food pimp, to make it so we can indulge in what makes us sick and thereby “manage our disease” of excess.
Excess sounds like it makes meats okay. Meats are the leading agent delivering purines into our bodies and these attack our joints.
There are many vegan style meats now and they do not attack your joints. Many of them are as high in fat as meat is, but there are low fat ones too. You have to read labels and you have to stop following people who won’t tell you the truth. These high fat vegan meat substitutes can taste good, but so do the low fat ones. You can get your protein from beans and soy also. All vegetables and fruit have some protein in them, even potatoes. The Yukon Gold potato or yellow potatoes taste buttery without all that fat. When you get the fat out of your diet, you will find that weight loss is much easier.
If you are not willing to change, then by all means check out the cost for all the joint replacements. If you have your knees done, down the road, you may need hip replacements. Look to the food and avoid the medical bills.
If you were eating right, would you be sick? No.
Start today listening to videos on Whole Food Plant-Based and try what they say and get off the pain meds like I did and feel better without joint replacements.
When my arthritis was at its worse, I could not even type. As you can see, I have no problem with my hands now either.

Similar with me -- my knee pain alleviated within a few days of switching to a carnivore diet. Not only that, but I quit getting hungry and snacking between meals, and I've been losing about 1.5 lb of fat a week without being hungry all the time. In my case the "arthritis" was apparently due to inflammation that almost completely resolved with the switch to carnivore.
