All gaming laptops run hot, and loud. Hence why I'll never buy one again, especially HP. Also HP are notorious for bad keys/and full keyboards. Even back in 2009 I had 2 laptops with keys, and the other the full keyboard just quit working. My advice, stick to gaming on Desktops, and Consoles. They will last many years longer, these, about 2--3 years tops. Or less.
my only catch with Omen is it's battery life though. it's not in the budget category anymore (Victus, MSI GF, asus TUF, Acer Nitro), sure its cheaper than other brand in same category (norm/mainstream tier) but battery in the lower side, might better to up the budget a little bit to get something like Legion 5, Strix 15 or Zephyrus G15

Also these laptops just aren't made well, and they run far to hot and that causes stutter, and also if they are undervolted it will do this as well. That's why I don't game on PC anymore. Far to many glitches and other problems.
@@drummer7557 The thing is, my laptop is nowhere near overheating. It's sitting at 60 degrees celsius. I've used the omen program aswell to kill any background apps and it doesn't work.
Complaining about screen wobble is honestly a good example of first world problems
Hello. I plain to buy this laptop but on 3050.... I think that it's very good device.
The worst thing about victus is HP won’t let you use advanced bios settings
That’s a no go for me
no more english subtitles?
This OR Acer nitro 5 with 3070rtx 8gb and Ryzen 7 with 8core ?
Nitro. The 3070 is still gonna be a decent bit faster than a 3060
@@siyzerix Thx:)
Is not even a question. Acer Nitro 5 is so much better.
@@user-zc2hz3yj2k yee it was a random question haha I want to buy it, the price is also good for this Acer. But I am not 100% sure. I am comparing too much... I also found msi Gf65 thin 3060rtx 6gb and i7 with 6core (the same price) but I dont know which laptop is better in general..
@@Konan4400 I'd still pick the Acer Nitro 5.
Thank you
But it competes with the 2020 7i and some MSIs for the worst hinges and biggest risk of hinge fireworks in the laptop industry... Correct?😂
heyy jarrod, hoping u reply to this
i have a legion 5 (Ryzen 7 4800H, RTX 2060, 144Hz IPS panel)
AMD Adrenalin software says AMD FreeSync is not supported in my device
Y tho?? Any fix??
Make sure you have optimus on. Or you are not be able to use freesync settings.
@@HoozahYK optimus is switched on ofc, if it is off, AMD Adrenaline Software wouldn't open up, duh
Legion 7 is an option but the battery life is meh
Big BUT as always, Still no near perfect gaming laptop is available, Lenovo Legion 7 could've been that but they can't fix a single simple and stupid battery drain Corsair RGB problem....
You can buy the 3070/3060 Legion 5Pro.
Also you can use a 3rd party keyboard control app instead of icue
Screen wobble means weak hinge... Its gonna break after 1 or 2years
Thermals are horrible on lower end models especially the 3050 one
i just lean the screen to the wall, problem solve
most of it about wobbles i guess and theres no major problems that make me want to buy other laptop
Hi, if anybody can help; im torn between two laptops scar 15 qhd and g15 advantage. Looking for hybrid work and play laptop with decent battery like 6- 9 hours. Are these two choices please recommend any laptop that can offer this. Since g15 uses liquid metal on both gpu and cpu long term im worried that it wont last long since he runs high temps when under load.
Thanks for sort listening
G15 Advantage
If fidget spinner can be a hit, I don't see why wobbling screen can't be another. Buy if you want to be the first screen wobbler among your friends!
Hi, I have a doubt... which one to choose between victus (i7- 11800 - Nvidia GeForce rtx3060 6gb, 16gb of ram and a 1tb ssd) and acer nitro 5 with the same specifications for photography and video editing? Do you think the wobbling of the display in the Victus is a big problem? Many thanks in advance. 😊
hi ! which one did u end up choosing?
A little duct tape can fix the wooble
Need Gold Gaming Laptop with RTX 3090 Super!
None of the Ryzen software has been updated yet to work with the 5700U/H/G . I just got an HP Pavilion with a 5700U and not one piece of ryzen software has recognized the cpu or chipset. And yes, I have the latest chipset and radeon drivers and BIOS up to date. And there's no Advanced option in the BIOS, and I haven't found anyway to gain access to it, even with TH-cam/Google, nothing nowhere about this issue.
PLEASE DO ONE FOR MSI DELTA 15 DADDY
i almost bought it without seeing a review after seeing the woble despite its like a awesome laptop it literally a deal breaker for me. Everything is solid expcet for the screen wobble .
I had a bad experience with a cheap budget lenovo laptop that had screen wobble like this . It didnt even last long until it has screen issue etc.
So you're saying you really need to pound the colon.
Omen is where it's at.
Bios F.10 of death😆😆😆
Jarrod Rehash is obvious ... L O L
Or less.
Hey jarrod
Love your videos man
I wanted to ask if you could please do a laptop 3070 vs laptop 2070 comparison?
It would be amazing man
Thanks
I recently compared those two on the main channel here: th-cam.com/video/B0sywsiJAL0/w-d-xo.html
@@JarrodsLaptops oh thank you so much man
I think the omen 15 is actually the better option IMO
my only catch with Omen is it's battery life though. it's not in the budget category anymore (Victus, MSI GF, asus TUF, Acer Nitro), sure its cheaper than other brand in same category (norm/mainstream tier) but battery in the lower side, might better to up the budget a little bit to get something like Legion 5, Strix 15 or Zephyrus G15
Jarrod , I know it's getting annoying for you , sorry , but where is Alienware X17?😭😭😭
Do something please😭😭
There's nothing I can do. Alienware don't have one in Australia to lend me even though you can just buy it on the store. The price is a rip off in Australia, so I will not be buying it to cover - it's all up to them.
@@JarrodsLaptops I agree , the price is so high to buy it just for the review.
I try my best to find a way to send a X17 to you.I have a friend in Australia that bought a X17.I can't send one for myself because I'm in iran and my friends can't send these type of products to iran without paying a lots of money.
Do you have anything so I can tell you if he agrees to sends you the laptop?
