  • Here is an in depth review of the On3 Performance Turbo kit on my 1987 Mustang GT. This kit review will cover specifically for Fox Body Mustangs. This review covers how the kit has been holding up on the car along with things that I have changed since the initial installation.
I purchased this kit directly from On3 Performance.

Ive watched your videos from the begining of your build with your fox. You've done a great job being down to earth explaining install and how to's. Your videos actually had me order the On3 351 swap kit for my Dart 408 stroker build and sell my Vortech. I upgraded turbo for the bigger cubes but ready to install. Thanks for the great TH-cam videos.

Just ordered my 351 kit from LMR yesterday. Thank you for the very informative tips. Especially the PCV valve setup. I wouldn't even have thought to use the SVO valve. Have that on the list. Also will get the Ford Racing filter adapter. I plan on running 8#'s, so looks like I will be fighting the boost issue as well. Thank you for the very informative videos. My engine is not in place yet, so should make the overall process a bit easier. Also I will be going blow through carb on my 88 LX. Mine was a roller with all the EFI gone, so that's why I am taking this route.

I purchased mine in 2017 Christmas and over for the money $ it’s not a bad kit despite the reviews from when they first started the kit. Nothing was missing in my kit and packaged well. And if worse case scenario you need to upgrade a turbo $300 is not bad.

Excellent review, I did one about a year ago and then took it down after I started getting better with editing. I love my on3 kit so far, I went with the 84mm billet wheel journal bearing however I went ls swap instead of keeping the 302. great job keep up the good work!

Running a PCV with a vented breather allows unmetered air at anything but WOT. This typically causes drivability issues like surging idle, and bucking at cruise. I recommend plugging the PCV and being done with it.

I just refreshed mine to a 306ci with forged rods and stock Pistons it has a e303 cam in it and was debating if I should upgrade heads or just run stock I had the decked and checked. New adjustable Rockers and 1.60 pushrods. Tubular gt 40 intake and throttle body spacer 2in 70mm throttle body. I do want to keep my a/c. To hot in georgia. Any advice would help.
