No, they don't. I am having a serious hot flash right now, I feel like am on fire. Am having heart pain, full body pain, joint pain, brain fog, forgetfulness,, fatigue, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, neck pain, shoulder pain etc... I mean come on! I am 44. On top of all these am taking BP meds 🙄 All these and more is caused by perimenopause????Now I hear it can last up to decades!!! I can hardly function right now! My only relief is that, millions of women like myself are going through these same symptoms. Indeed like you said, people don't really know what we women go through. I love you all.

I'm 66 and have had most of these pains. I was actually rubbing my "frozen shoulder" when she was in the video! LOL. Started taking magnesium, cause most people are low in their systems. Our body doesn't make magnesium. I drink nothing but spring water, and no caffeine organic green tea, mixed with chamomile tea. Cutting out sugar does help lower inflammation. But the worse thing for women is stress, that effects so much in a women's body and mind. Be well everyone, on this crazy journey, and accept yourself for who you are, put yourself first, no one else will do it for you. Be kind to yourself!

There are chronic pain clinics, why can't we have specialists pain clinics for menopausal symptoms, fed up with the whole thing to he honest, never ending hot flushes, and a long list of where my body hurts. How can you, in 2023, say, 'FINALLY SOME INFORMATION!!!!!!!? Information about menopause has been around forever! I used to go the library and research it for my mum back in the 80's and there was plenty of information available even back then lol. And now that we have the internet with the wealth of knowledge that is available at our finger tips, there is absolutely no excuse for women to be ignorant on the subject.. Also, now that I reread your comment about women not hearing about menopause from their mom's or grandma's, I'm laughing again. Why do you need to hear anything from them? I am dealing with pelvic discomfort for the past week. I have been diagnosed with a few small cysts and a few small fibroids. It feels like the cramps when you get your cycle. Will schedule an appt soon to make sure everything is okay but it really sucks. I had this same pain start up around this time last year and it went away after a month only to return a year later. I also have minor foot pain (ball of foot pain)and when I get up in the morning I experience tingling and numbness for a few minutes and once I get walking I'm good for the day. I am 59 and have been post menopausal since 2020.

I've just turned 48 and this has been a nightmare for me, I also have lower back pain and sciatica pain I'm certain is also caused by perimenopause. This pain is out of this world!!!

You mentioned foot pain, which I had every morning when I got up to stand. My feet felt like they were broken, hurt so bad. But my podiatrist made custom orthotics for me, he wrapped wet plaster strips around my feet and let it dry, then slowly removed them and sent them out to be made into insoles. This maintains my foot position and has helped me be pain free now. I put them in all my shoes and don’t walk around without them, it’s one problem solved . 😊

I'm in perimenopause, and the last 2 months have been absolute hell. The hot flashes and night sweats are out of control. I can't sleep past 3 or 4 in the morning, and I'm woken up many times throughout the night. I have headaches, nausea, and my bones feel like they're rubbing together. So, so painful. And the mood swings. I have lumps in my feet, and like you said, it feels like I'm walking on marbles. This absolutely sucks. I'm so miserable. But, thank you for doing these videos. Many of my symptoms, I didn't even know were symptoms. Your videos are so very helpful. Thank you again. Keep em' coming, lol

I am post-menopausal now, but I remember many of these symptoms. I still have some of them. I had some benefits from menopause though. I have had migraine headaches since puberty that were hormone triggered. Once menopause kicked in my migraine frequency dropped from monthly to maybe 2 a year. Now I might get a migraine once every couple of years. I also don't have to deal with the horrible cramps I had every month of my whole life since puberty until menopause. In some ways I feel better than I did before menopause.

I've been in the perimenopause stage for four years, and what has helped me is taking evening primrose oil. It takes a while to get into your system, maybe 2 months, but it does work it helps with the breast pain and the aching in the joints. I used to take it when I was younger for breast pain before my periods. Make sure you buy good quality evening primrose oil. Another thing that helps is Menopace it doesn't take all the symptoms away, but it helps to alleviate some of the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. Great video, very insightful.

There are some good things about menopause: no more PMS, cramps, pimples, bloating, or messy periods that stain sheets and clothes; and no longer giving a d@mn what anyone thinks. I have had to stay on HRT even though I'm at risk for breast cancer bc terrible hot flashes, lack of motivation, and brain fog were making me depressed and I'm already on anti-depressants.

Thank you for all the advice. I feel like I'm being tortured! I thought it was my fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, bulging discs, degenerative discs, spinal stenosis, si joints worn down and right foot plantar fasciitis, pinched nerve in ankle and osteo arthritis. Well, perimenopause and menopause probably make it worse, now that I seen your video. I have headaches everyday and migraines for 3 weeks straight. Your cat is so cute and pretty in the background. I have a cat too which helps with my depression. Yes, I forgot to say I forget things, brain fog, run into things and bruises all over. Everything you mentioned in your videos. I had to change Doctors because I could tell the one didn't believe me have the time. I broke my right foot also ( I don't know how probably weak bones)and for 3 months I just thought it was my osteoarthritis so I got a steroid shot which didn't help. This is CRAZY that we women have to go through this and for so long!! I am 53 and I'm going to get another test to see if I'm menopausal. The last test I did last year or 2 yrs ago said I wasn't. Tanking hormones can affect every body system and some of us suffer terribly, myself included. It was my torturous symptoms and dismissive doctors that prompted my continuous research and this channel. Groups of symptoms do have common factors though that worsen the torture like insomnia and chronic inflammation in the body. If we can work on improving those types of things we can turn down our suffering a notch or two. I will never stop looking for things to help myself and others. Much love and hugs to you!🥰

I can’t believe I’m pretty much in menopause but was definitely dealing with ALL of this in the last decade or more! In particular, the widespread body pain! With an auto immune illness, my entire life, I kept thinking, I was definitely going to get diagnosed with MS or something… Turns out everything was inconclusive. Every time I went to the doctor… Your videos have been a real eye-opener. Basically no estrogen equals we might as well end it! So why aren’t we all getting supplemented with the proper amounts of it or something to take its place when all of this starts!?? Why is there just so little information except for the last year or so about HRT etc.? Even now working with a naturopath has been a clunky process to get estrogen replacement along with progesterone and the proper amounts, but humorously enough out of all of the agonizing symptoms the one symptom that got me the most upset was the hot flashes. I absolutely could not handle them and ultimately that is what ended me up on HRT which did stop those symptoms but that was three months ago and I’m still wondering about the body pain… I still have it pretty good but that comment about the feet hurting so bad it was like walking on marbles that definitely was going on with me and has gone away… I also had a raging case of tennis elbow, which I ended up getting a PRP shot for a year later it finally did go away..agonizing. All I can say is, I am praying that science gets better because living like this is no picnic!

Why does God hate us so much? Seriously? We thought puberty was horrible but when it was over we thought hey if we can get through that pregnancy won't be that bad. And it probably wasn't for most women until - childbirth. That was hell. Then we thought well if we've gotten past that phase we're home free. Menopause will be a breeze because that means we can have all the unprotected sex we want with our male partners without the worry of pregnancy and bonus no more bloating cramps or monthly visits from the period fairy. But- then we learned that this was its own special kind of hell. WHY DIDN'T OUR MOTHERS EVER TALK TO US ABOUT THIS?!!! I will never understand why women were so reluctant to discuss something that happens to all women if they live long enough. Whenever you ask older women about menopause even in this day and age they very rarely tell you much of anything. They just nod and say 'oh yeah i had that' or some other vague nonsense that amounts to no information at all. It's maddeningly frustrating. I have no idea what I should expect or what symptoms I can attribute to menopause or just my own general bitchiness.

I'm 43 and have been to the er multiple times in the past year for most of these symptoms. I've had catscans and MRIs , all of which found nothing. I'm wondering if I had been treated by female doctors, I would have been given this information, and my mind could have been put at ease. Ty for this video. Information is power .

Did they pinppint what went wrong if I may ask? Menopause is a debilating condition that is said a natur process. Women researchers ought to do something about the condition like men who are busy doing research work on prostatic troubles.

This is exactly what I’m dealing with. I keep feeling very weak and dizzy too. I feel like my blood sugar is dropping since I have low blood sugar issues. When I test it it’s fine. The Dr’s have no clue about peri- menopause or menopause! I stretch and my back hurts more. My physical therapist told me to stop stretching and when I do I can’t move very well.

Great job mapping out the symptoms and sources. I didn't have those(so far) but what frstrates me is I heal and recover more slowly. I used to bounce back so fast and now I don't.
