Dude, wow those are to drool for! Very cool.
Thanks you 🫶🏼.
Wow! I just ordered these wheels 2 days ago - can’t wait to see how you get on with them. They look great and Hambini rates them highly
Thx brother. Yes I watched his reviews as I patently and excited waiter for mine to come in.
@@DennisGonzalez101 How are you getting on? Mine came in, set them up tubeless and have ran maybe 150 miles on them now, feel great.
@@LeeWright I am going to buy these wheels. How do you like them? Yay or nay?
@@nolimit7185 so far for me it’s a big yay. They are fantastic
These look like awesome wheels! By the way, this is Stan T.-I talk to you on Strava. I am spending the summer in the PNW with lots of awesome paved trails, so I’ve put some Reynolds AR 60 wheels with Victoria NEXT 32mm tires on my Aspero, and it’s an absolute rocket now🔥🔥 I never thought I’d be able to on average 20 mph over at 40 mile ride… I’m trying to figure out how to start doing interval training now. You mentioned TrainerRoad plans. Two questions: do you have to have a subscription to TrainerRoad? And also, can you upload those trees and plants directly to your Garmin bike computer? Thanks!
Hey brother thx for the comment. Yes they are sweet wheelset. I plan to use these on my áspero as well. Yes you need a subscription to TR and yes you can send them to you Garmin to do em outdoors, that’s what I do.
Can't wait to receive mine in 50/58mm. Thanks for the unboxing!
Awesome 😎.
@@DennisGonzalez101 Have you tried them? If so, what are your first impressions?
@@feyvre I just did my first ride on them today but it was an easy 1.5H Z2 so hard to tell right now. I’ll need more time on them. I do love how they look tho and the wide internal with because I can run lower pressures than my 21mm internal bontrager wheels.
GOOD STUFF DENNIS! You coming to Chicago for Intelli?
@@PatrickLino thx man. I would love to. There’s a few teammates that will be heading that way, would be nice to join them but not sure yet.
I'm running tubeless so far so good love it
Awesome to hear man. I’m a huge fan. Honestly I don’t see myself going back anytime soon 🫶🏼
I have arthritis and i cant seat tubeless with my hands so im never running it. Love your videos bro.
Hey thx brother. Well that doesn’t mean you can’t have a shop set them for you and then you just enjoy the tuebeless set up lol
@@DennisGonzalez101 I mean in case of a flat im screwed.
@@valiantabello aah yeah I see what you mean.
Really curious to know how many of you guys are running tubeless and what are your thoughts on it? Let me know down below. I’m a big fan and don’t see myself not running it ever again. 😊
I ride hardtails , just tried tpu tubes with new tubeless tape and they've been great but yet to try puncture repairing after 300 miles. However I'm definitely going tubeless next few weeks as I got the commpresser pump now after a failed attempt few weeks back 😅 . My thought for casual ride tubes are fine . For racing tubelss has to be way to go and probably for long rides. . Rims and tyres are generally designed now for tubeless so should really use them for tubeless. 🙂
@@Foxtrottangoabc coudnt agree more man. Definitely won’t ever run anything but tubeless for mtb, too scare to get pinch flats 😆
@@DennisGonzalez101 I'm way behind on modern tech 😅
@@Foxtrottangoabc 😂😂. It was life changing for me when I went tubeless. Don’t think I’ll ever go back to be honest 😂
Excited to see your 1 bike, 2 wheels video!
Regarding tubeless, first of all, I don't race and if I did, I would go tubeless for sure. However, I've had some bad experiences with tubeless on my road bike where the punctures would seal originally but not stay sealed, therefore continuing to spray and make a mess on the bike. A lot of this comes down to the sealant brand and how well it works but for the average Joe who wants a long lasting sealant and to avoid spending lots of money to replenish sealant, TPU tubes is the way to go now for road, not to mention the environmental factor. There are too many variables in a tubeless system for road at high pressures for it to be a good long term solution. I recently switched to TPU tubes and I was genuinely surprised how supple and fast it feels, and it's lighter than a tubeless setup. When I was running tubeless, I carried the TPU anyway as insurance in case the sealant doesn't seal. All that said, I'm continuing with sealant for gravel but I might try TPU for gravel in future. I learned that the TPU material is tougher to puncture compared to butyl tubes so that's another plus! Keep it up Dennis!
How are these wheels working out for you? Any update?
Absolutely loving them. Have almost 1000 miles on them 0 issues. I will be making another update video soon.
How would you rate those wheels after few weeks of usage?
Very very highly. I will be releasing a full video about them very soon here. I have put around 1200 miles so far on them and loving every single one of them and no issue so far.
What's the point of those spoke holes covers if u don't ride tubeless? Why hustle ? Isn't it better and easier just to put rim tape and put the inner tube?
I do ride tubeless and I did put the plastic cover. I’m sure it protects the rim tape when is under pressure from getting cut by the corner of the holes or blown through because of the pressure. I just never seen them on any other wheels before. I did use them tho
@@DennisGonzalez101 thanks for answer. I ride tubeless in gravel and tubes on road. In both cases I just use rim tape, did not even know about possible use or need for those covers
@@kubackjeee no problem. I have never seen them before either on any other brand wheels.
Curious to know if these hubs are any good and if they will last as compared to Western brands!
I have used other chineses carbon wheels with no issues. Good thing is that the internal on these are interchangeable for DT Swiss internals in case you need any parts for maintenance.
How do you get the XDR hub? I’m not able to select it on the website; says it’s sold separately.
Yes it is sold separately. I do have a code DG10 for 10% off. Hopefully that helps with the extra cost. I didn’t mention that on the video because it just didn’t feel right to tell you guys to go buy the wheels when I haven’t tested them yet. If u have decided you will buy them anyways or from other reviews then that would save you around 100 usd and it will be very much appreciated as it also helps the channel 🙏. If you can’t find the XDR option you can also let me know and I can always speak with them and try to help you out. Cheers 🍻.
1000 usd? Maybe Winspace
Not sure what you mean by that ? These wheels are under 1000 usd 900 with my discount code.
@@DennisGonzalez101 I mean winspace doing offers and prooved to be a nice wheels
