I wanted this generation Camry soo bad! Silver with these same wheels, same two tone interior and the V6. Can’t believe this generation is over 10 years old now.
@@DMCarReviewsyeah it was sad it didn’t last long either, they did a major facelift in 2015 and it didn’t look like the same car at all. My favorite generation is the XV40 facelift SE
I have a 2013 Toyota Camry SE V6 with 96k miles currently, it’s smooth, quiet and it has great resale value. And it’s quick too, I got this car’s 0-60 in 6.5 seconds.
I've always loved the Accord and Camry V6s. They're sleepers and I'll take an "older" (2012 doesn't feel old at all to me) V6 sedan any day of the week. I love "boring" and simple cars like the Camry and Accord.
I luv that generation Camry I had a 2012 xle 4 cylinder and that engine was good but I never owned the V6 I wish I did because with my spirited driving that’s what I should’ve had even today I have another xle Camry 4 cylinder😂but fantastic video as always👏👏
I was cross shopping one of these V6 Camry’s with the the 2013-2015 v6 Accords and i loved how these soaked up bumps slightly better than the Accords but the accord felt more nimble around turns and a little lighter on its feet. Ended up going with the accord because of the additional features and the vtec sound lol. But these are a great choice on the used market!
This is the last good-looking camry imo, the 7th gen pre facelift. When they face lifted this generation, they ruined the look by putting the huge front grille that all toyotas and lexus models have now for some reason. The only newer camry i like is the 8th gen trd. Shame they didn't bring it back for the 9th gen, along with getting rid of the v6.
I have an evergreen one. I purchased it to downgrade from a Highlander. One best decisions I have ever made. I would never have thought that a Camry V6 could be that fast or fun.
@@DMCarReviews yeah i know but you drive a lot of cool older cars that i like, dont get me wrong some newer cars are amazing but nothing beats the older car "vibe" have you test drove an x3m competition? that is a newer car i want in my collection
@@DMCarReviewssadly that probably won’t happen since everyone is downsizing engines. That’s the main reason I dislike a lot of modern cars. Larger, turbo and naturally aspirated engine powered cars are slowly disappearing from our roads.
@@DMCarReviews ehh idk.. no one was buying it. Only 6% of buyers bought it. If they would’ve offered it on the lower trims take rate would be higher. They should’ve kept the V6 in the Highlander, Grand Highlander, RX, TX until the government made them switch to the 4cyl but 🤷♂️🤷♂️
I have this same car but a 4cyl. You think you could review the fiesta st or focus st. They’re very fun cars and hopefully wanna get one to replace the Camry. It’s cool seeing a car reviewer from the dmv
question for anyone that can answer, can engine filter affect the amount of ac that comes out, I have a 2010 Toyota rav4 and the ac is not as cold as needs to be and I’m guessing bc it’s been a while since I replaced the engine filter
i swear the cars you film match up perfectly for my taste bro
I am glad to hear that! Thank you for watching.
V6 Camrys are really potent~~ can’t deny the power of that 3.5L 2GR-FE V6 engine

I remember being in middle school when this model came out.

That Camry has some serious pull…my oh my
It does!
@@DMCarReviewsdefinitely a fun ride.
This is such a great car. Dependable, lots of power from a strong V6, soft cushy ride.
Exactly!
probably my favorite pov channel, you don't drive slow like the others
Thank you!
These are really nice! Good strong V6, very solid 6 speed. Overall nice car.
For sure!
@@DMCarReviewsbut people often say Toyotas are boring but any car can be fun to drive. You just have to find the joy in driving it (well except EV’s).
Best generation camry v6 its super fast and reliable and its crazy that this same model v6 camry se 2012 is over $5,000 and it has 316,000 miles
This v6 camry is rlly fast especially if u need to get to work and ur running late and u git this car
It's really quick!

These newer, early-to-late-2010's Toyota Camry's with the 3.5 L V6 engine are the best in both worlds.
Yes!
07 to 10 are terrible countless problems

My most Beloved Dream V6 Automobiles. Lotus also uses this Engine in their Evora, 3 Eleven, and Emira. However when 2025 hits, I'll be like, 😭.
They are downsizing the engines all the time😭
Sound thing you are not lying, the v6 is fun to drive. It’s technically a fast commuter nowadays
It's really fast
My dream car

Toyota needs to bring back the v6 to the Toyota rav4
They should bring it to many models!

We need a 2015-2017 Camry video!!
That's in the plans!
I like dis generation
I love this car, I would do anything to get this car (except hurting anyone)
Hey man love the videos! Hopefully once you get a chance can you test drive a GTI Mk7.5?
Thank you very much! Of course, I'll film one if I come across one.
We have a 2010 sienna with the same engine and I can say it definitely is quick but I bet the Camry is more faster being it’s not as heavy
Of course, it's lighter!
They should’ve brought back the LE V6 and SE V6 for the 2018-2024 model since it was the last gen w the V6😢
They should have just kept the V6.

How’s the pull compared to the 2016-2023 Maxima?
Pretty similar, I'd say! In these conditions, they would be running about identical times.

Can you test the 2013 Acura rdx?
Sure
camry trd vs se v6?
I'll put my bets on the V6 with the 6-speed.
This gen but pre refresh xse in black 🤌🏾👌🏾
There was an XSE?
@@DMCarReviews my bad the se. There wasn't an xse yet.
I've had a 2012 Camry SE V6 the same color it's fast but I know the Altima 3.5sl is faster than that
They both run the same time. You can see my Altima 3.5 video too. Same weather, same road. They post virtually identical times.
I wish I had that car again I crashed and I am upset😢
Hopefully you can get one again!
I hope I can
U forgot 2007 -2010 maybe 11 to all had the garbage oil burning problems and the v6 was known for coolant leaks very terrible generation
Drove a 2010, never had any issues.
