I'm finding that a lot of elderly people loved these older Avalons. Lots of AMAZING deals out there. 1 owner, very low mileage Avalons are easily found and they are some of THE best cars ever made.
I bought a 2007 Avalon XLE with about 280000 miles for $2500 in 2021. Was my very first car and I crashed it in about 2 months. Still miss that car, it was built like a tank and cannot find that kind of luxury at that price point.
I own a 2007 Avalon and have for the last 3 years. I love the car, even at 235,000 miles it still rides like it’s new. One thing that was not mentioned in the video is that the rear seats recline! They don’t go back much but it’s enough to make it a much more comfortable ride.
Happens if you hit a pothole or an object left in the middle of the road at night, causing a tyre to blow out. Great cars though. Mine has 223,000 miles. Could be a hole in the exhaust somewhere so sounds a bit more growly. Changed the serpentine belt, an idler pulley, oil and filter change and she flies.. oh and the alternator had to be changed. Gear change is a bit slippery sometimes from 2nd to 3rd gear but I will do a transmission drain and refill soon. Again I say this car is quick but reliable. Don't be put off by high mileage as long as there is evidence of care. I need to check the a/c as it's not blowing cold although it was when I bought it 2 months ago. That's it really. Oh and the rear blind is not working.. Limited specification.
To solve this issue i got a 235/45/18 instead of the 215/55/17 just too skinny for a fwd 3700lb car. Mine is a 2011 but still on rainy conditions i will still spin even at 40mph 🫠
They stopped making them I think in 2007 for this generation Avalon, but if you can find a clean "touring" they had a better suspension than the xls or limited. They didn't get ventilated or "cooled" seats like the limited, but people actually complained about the limited seats on long drive because they were less comfortable to accommodate the ventilation feature.

Very true!

@@cjsteele9594That's true ...just got one though ...
True that. My grandparents had four Avalons - two of them were this generation, 2006 and 2008. Great cars.

Try the Volvo XC70 2005-2007. Amazing ride too!
In my country 2007 Avalon in good condition is somewhere around $16k with an average salary of $700 🫡

hey man also make sure you have your headlights on whenever it's raining for visibility purposes for other drivers! :)

Looks like your Avalon might need alignment. The steering wheel looks out of whack. Other than that it looks great and I know they’re good cars.
It does...

You should review the same gen when it’s dry out and better conditions, would love to see it

Really sucks they discontinued this car in 2022, SUVs are taking over and sedans are slowly being fazed out
