I've been driving a es300 since I bought it new in 94. Decided to buy a 'new' car and test drove a lit of different cars. In the end i bought a 2007 es350 with 68k miles. The car is in immaculate condition and was religiously maintained by the original owner. I like the car so much. It's not a sporty car, but im looking for comfort and this car delivers. It still has plenty of power for passing and mountain driving despite not being a sport model. I couldn't be happier.

These classic, Lexus RX's still rock.

I remember when I was younger I’ve always been car obsessed but it was when it was time to trade in my mom‘s minivan and she was looking for an SUV and I remember we went to Lexus and I think we looked at the RX 300 it was too small, and I remember us looking at the LX 470 which I liked so big and roomie and comfortable. unfortunately, the salesman turned off my father because he said that compared to Lexus, Toyota used second and third grade parts and my dad did not like that at all whatsoever, so he ended up purchasing a brand new 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser. It literally was the same thing just not as luxurious as the Lexus model, but we had that Land Cruiser for nine years with that nice growly V8 it drove smooth. I’ll always appreciate that land cruiser because that’s what I learned to drive in. I currently own a 2010 Lexus ES 350 and I am obsessed with it. I will only drive Lexus vehicles. The reliability, quality, is amazing and you can’t break a 2GR-FE 3.5 V6 engine!

I have a 2004 xle v6 with vvti and it's by far the best car I've ever driven. It has 125,000 miles and runs like new. I hope ill still be driving it in 10 years

i have a 2005 e53 4.4 i x5 and i have a 2000 e39 540i/6pd. after owning 9 diff bmws newest being e90 ive decided to only keep 2 bmws and 1 kia daily. the biggest reason on these two was becuz of the performance standards they possess....the E53 AND E39 are out of the same mold...my 1st a 85 E30 318i with a m10 4cyl 5spd was a blast in day it came out and ive never had a doubt about bmw.ive drove a gran coup m cars,i8,760li....and all are amazing . my e39 is still a force and my x5 is also a clone in many ways to it ..ive become satisfied with what i get out of the out dated ultimate driving machine ,im happy and dont need the new tech ,bmw satisfied me with performance 25yrs ago ,and i save many thousands now just toolin around in a 20 and a 25 yr old v8 beasts.

I have a 2006 TL with 96,000 miles. Debating on putting around $8,000 into it, or putting $8,000 plus using it for a trade on a newer car. I do love driving it. Trans rebuilt @ 92,000 miles. Ideas?

If you have the pre 07 5 speed auto contact the dealership. The technicians will know about the jetpack. It takes fluid from the outlet side of the external trans filter and is plumbed into the trans fill location. It's a special fitting with a hose nipple that allows you to put that needed trans fluid to the area where normally the gear was starved. In 07 that was done internally. It's about 100 us dollars. If you ask the parts clerk they might not know about it but the technicians sure will.
