    Myself and my wife are big fans of your channel and Ammavum Naanum. This episode brings back nostalgic memories of having Tirumurthy malai Vadu maanga/Kanni Maanga. My father was in pollachi and every year we used to buy Tirumurthi Kanni manga for the Vadu maanga Pickle. My father after retirement moved to Bangalore with me. He sold his house in Pollachi 2012 and since many years we have been missing the Tirumurthy Hills vadu manga . The vadu maanga with Thayir Sadham used to be really like devamirtham. Can you kindly inform as to how to procure this Vadumaanga either raw or pickled?

    Hello Rakesh sir, this thaiyir mangai is semellerly Magali kezhangu urgai. I am from a iyangar family. 1st time I heard this thayir mangai. I'll tried it.ty.

    Take a small quantity in a jar and add vegetables like cabbage carrot beans .. can be eaten after 4 days. Very tasty.....

    We make mahali kizangu instead of mango by this recipe. We don't put in fridge. Very tasty recipe

    This is similar to " Maagali kazangu pickle which we prepare using curd. Since maagali pickle needs sourness we add lemon juice. This pickle recipe is on the similar lines. For kharam we also use green chillies. The pickle we prepare lasts for years. So this is no surprise.
