I made this today. Came out really good. Tasted very similar to pindi miryam that we make in our house. Has similar ingredients to the one amma ground, except that we add dhania and rice instead of tur dal. We add either boiled colacasia or raw plantain to this. But this karuveppilai kuzhambu will become a regular at my place now :)

My nephew used to watch your sutralam suvaikalam marathon shows since when he was 5 years old. Now he’s 8 and he’s showing great interest in cooking may be he got inspired by you. Now a days he cooks once a while well of course with our support. He loves the part where in the end of the show you taste dishes with lovely expressions he used to enjoy that and we used to enjoy the smile on our nephews face.

We add sundakkai vatral or poondu in milagu kuzhambu. When thalippu we add kaduku venthayam and cheeragam. Consistancy is like pulikkachal. Long self life. in fride some more days. Yours is another Version
