That intro though, stylish as hell! You should definitely keep this style going forward (well maybe not the air fryer everytime lol).

Not sure if someone’s mentioned it yet, but there is a very specific way you can put the arms in that hides that front kibble. There’s slots slightly further back for the front of the wrists to slot into which lets you shift the shoulders up to give the extra clearance.
How do you do this? Can someone explain?
@@dawnberrent5499 once you’ve folded the wrists down the front of the forarms can fit with little rectangular pegs on the inside, lining them up and allowing the shoulders to compress in a little more
I have MP36 and absolutely love it, a highlight of my collection and I like the new style, they look great!
But..yeah I don’t touch Megs much..and the prices are soooo bad, plus really limited numbers and release in the U.K.
Skids is beautiful, affordable compared to the others and really nicely made, I think this is the perfect compromise
This figure looks awesome. Just ordered the Reboost version just because I really want to get my hands on the sculpt. Also yes get Nightbird she's fantastic fun
Skyfire looks like a "Why not both?" appoch. Insane accrecitcy AND a smoth transformation. Plus funny things for Macross fanbois.
Oh and about that Devastator the small one from not that long ago I found the special painted premium I guess on Amazon Canada for $64
I got Reboost for the little motor scooter. That figure is really freaking cool, and is a highlight of my collection.
Mp hound is a solid figure. Handled it well enough, which is like a hyperdestructive toddler. Only paint chipping is in the thighs, because I don't ever move the skirts. Joints remain tight. Highly articulated. Arguably the cleanest back of any mp figure. Supremely underrated figure.

Like I have the KO and the mold itself is really good, but I hear the official's materials are ass, thus why I got the KO.

The other repaints crosscut and reboost of MP skids are probably better to get cause I think it’s the same price but you get a few more accessories like extra guns, a scooter, and a small figure for the scooter. I like blue and the design of skids but idk why he’s missing accessories that the other figures have for the same price.
I almost forgot this about the lockdown the gun I think on the KO plug into the head from the real one
I think my comments may be disappearing I don't know maybe there's an issue with TH-cam but anyway the KO lockdown is all black and I think the headcanon from Age of Extinction will plug into it it is based off of the age of Extinction mold and is $30 Canadian
My skids had awful QC so I got rid of him but I did really wanna like him 😩 every joint was super floppy

The accessories are the only reason I went for Reboost over Skids. I desperately wanted the Motocompo to go with it.
I totally agree with you and I haven't even watched the video. Semi old masterpiece is the best, cuz it’s like a semi realistic version of the g1 cartoon, or if like the g1 toys were more human like I proportion. I absolutely love this guy.
I've heard Nightbird has good quality plastic, but the paint sucks. It chips really easily, it you've seen how MP-44's paint is, it's pretty similar.

MPM Blackout.
His arms are super easy as I just orientate them to where they need to be and then just fold them in and they work everytime. I don't try to put them in there and then rotate them in afterwards. I just get them to how they're supposed to be, when they're in the chamber and then just fold them in. Very solid figure as I bought 2 Reboost and Skids. I also got the X-transbots You're Under Arrest version which is also very good. I'm surprised that Takara Tomy didn't do a collaboration with You're Under Arrest as that's the very first thing I thought of when I saw this mold.
A masterpiece being actually affordable? Shit, this might be my next pick up.

I picked up a couple of my MP figures up today I've had stored for years takara red alert and a KO MP tracks . Surprisingly the KO is still solid while red alert is a floppy mess

Just got the LEGACY Skids and TBH I prefer the dark blue.
I own all 3 of the Honda City MPs (Skids, Reboost and Crosscut) and it's one of my favorite carbot molds, MP or otherwise! Great looking and realistic alt modes, simple transformation (arms can be a bit fiddly) and great looking robot modes. Articulation is average and Skids has loose legs but overall still solid MPs. Reboost was my first one so I have a soft spot for him but Crosscut might be my favorite.

to address your arm complaint in alt mode, they can be tucked up further into the front bumper, at least that's what I'm able to achieve with my reboost, also can't wait for your opinion on the new train lads, I think moon studio's ones are slightly better value for money even if their iron arm (kaen) is extremely tight in places (at least on my copy I've already broken a skirting piece sadly) keep up the good work man love the vibe of your vids
Also I believe you’ve missed transformed the arms. There are little tabs towards the back of the hood where the wrists will peg into
While sure, it may be light on accessories and not have all the bells and whistles modern MPs might, but really Skids doesn't need them. The relatively affordable price is great for a more niche character like this. Here's hoping this model continues for more previously impossible MP releases (Omnibots when)

I only remember Skids through that Marvel story, which I loved so I'm a bit disappointed they didn't include a Charlene with a sponge and bucket
I really wish Hasbro would reissue the Legacy figure in the Buzzworthy line or something, painted in the Masterpiece figure's colors...or the animation models colors, which is the same thing really, as I have to say I agree, I think the Legacy figure's too dark...though the Legacy figure is almost a dead on color match to the G1 toy colors, lol.

I got reboost when bbts did a 1 day sale so he was like 50$
The only masterpieces I have are mp-27 ironhide and mpm-05 barricade and I think they are both really good. I got ironhide off of eBay for about $40 and barricade for about $50.
A pretty solid figure, but I'm probably getting the Reboost colours version.

Tbh, I like this guy even less than ROTF Skids for some reason. The huge Doorwings look dumb, I don't like the hood of the car behind his head like that no matter how accurate it's supposed to be, and he just looks boring overall.
But, the Alt mode does vibe with me for some reason, and the fact that he's cheaper than most MP's is a boon for him. If I do Decide to get one, it's staying in Alt mode.
The only masterpiece figure I have is mpm Megatron and he's good but I want to try an mp figure but the prices are an ehhhhhhh for me

Hey quick question, when transforming the legs, does the back part of the calves that's supposed to click in does not work? Because for me. I looked at other videos and I thought it was my bad but everywhere I see it has done it similarly. Is there some tabs or something I'm missing because whenever I bend the knees, those same parts untab

heads up if you ever plan on getting hound get a KO it is legit way better quality the official hound's plastic just disintegrates
anime inspired masterpieces need to go away. fortunately hound works as a toy colours as well, i bought the superior KO lol. I have this skids mold and it's great that it's not an anime inspired design, but it is a super simple under engineered masterpiece. AND I can't believe it didn't come with the little bike while the repaints do!
