If you're ever feeling dumb, just remember, Transformers Prime Megatron picked Starscream, a person who betrayed him at least 2 times, over Dreadwing, an honorable person who's only mission in life is to serve Megatron.
He chose Starscream because he's moldable, Dreadwing often disobeyed him and was on par with Megatron's strength so he could do nothing about it. Starscream learned his place BECAUSE of the physical and mental abuse Megs gave him and this is how a competent and independent second-in-command became a loyal dog that grieved his abuser's death
Dreadwing was too strong to be controlled as Megatron is used to. And unpredictable, because he thinks differently
Dreadwing had just refused Megatron's order to stand down--I've heard actual (mostly ancient) military stories of good generals executing their best men for that very thing, so that actually checks out.
Plus, for all Prime Starscream's faults, he does have a sense of gratitude (i.e. saving Arcee from Airachnid after she spared him) so Megatron probably knew Starscream would be loyal after that. IIRC he was
The real reason they killed off Dreadwing was because his VA was expensive and they didn't want to pay him
Megatron knew that starscream was more of a true decepticon than dreadwing. Cunning,oppurtunist, and selfish to the core. Unlike dreadwing, who wouldn't mind being righteous if he could afford to.

Man, 10:33 was already done with an Autobot, one that most may very well know. And his name, is Bayverse Optimus Prime. He broke every section of the Geneva Conventions (not including the first movie, because he technically wasn't under human law at that time, but in revenge of the fallen, there was the "Alien Autobot cooperation Act" which would technically subject them to humanitarian law, since they are under that law, they're under all law.

As a Transformers fan, I approve of this video!
(Also, while I grew up with the Bay movies, and that version of Bumblebee is my favorite, the cartoons, especially Animated and Prime, have some of my all time favorite versions of Bumblebee! As for movies though, pretty much all versions of Bumblebee are my favorite in them! The 70s Camaro, the ‘07 Camaro, the Dark of the Moon Camaro, the High-Octane Camaro from Age of Extinction, the Willys Jeep, the Volkswagen Beetle, and the clean 70s Camaro as well as his Off-Road Camaro, as well as all his robot modes from those movies (and even his ZB-7 army vehicle and B-127 Cybertron mode) are my favorites!!!
But even then each version from each movie has something that I like! I’m a huge Bumblebee fan, (I have a lot of toys of the guy!) and yes, his solo prequel/soft reboot movie is my all time favorite Transformers movie!
