Hi Paul, thanks for leaving a comment 🤙🏻 I’m excited to say there will be a very special video coming soon where I reveal my new luggage system on my biggest adventure yet!
Just subscribed. Great video and music. Lovely Bonneville. I've now got the Royal Enfield Classic 350, love it. Look forward to your next adventure on the bike. Thanks 👍
Thanks Peter, glad to have you aboard 🤙🏻 I’ve only heard good things about the RE 350. I’ve looked at some up close fairly recently and the paint schemes are very classy. I’d probably find it quite difficult to choose a colour! I know someone with an RE Bullet Trials and it looks like a pure adventure machine!
Think I saw you, came up and then back down that hill on an RE Interceptor 650, recognise your bike, looked great ! Nice review, looking for a 900cc next and torn between Street Twin, Bonneville or Z900RS.
Nice relaxed video. I just bought a used T100. Can't wait for spring. What kind of crash bars are those on your bike? I should probably stick some crash bars on my bike until I am comfortable with it.
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed the video 🤙🏻 Interesting question. I was quite lucky because my T100 had them fitted when I bought it. Although I know Triumph sell them online as do Motone plus some other sites. I’m not quite sure if they are stainless or chrome but they look the part and offer that extra bit of safety! I’m considering a rear rack next 🙂
Hi Rapirnie, thanks for commenting 👍🏻 I have indeed and that’s looking like the best option for me at the moment I think. I’ve seen some good looking setups out there which are waterproof as well. That said, I’ve messaged someone on eBay today re a wax cotton set but not sure if wax cotton will be high maintenance in terms of cleaning and waxing etc. I don’t think they have locks either 🤔
Greta video. Got my t100 last June and dreaming of a long trip home to Ireland from Stockholm…. I got the Kappa Rambler panniers. Soft and easy to attach detach. Also the Merlin Victory Textile jacket is fine for the summer. Ride and sons Arrow jacket for the winter or rainy weather
Hi Alex, thanks for leaving a comment 🤙🏻 Yeah I was was lucky enough to spend a couple of months throughout Asia whilst on my travels. Really miss it actually! Thailand is still one of the nicest countries I’ve ever visited and has an amazing bike culture. Have you been?
@@surfingsteven1624 I haven't been, but I now consider you to be a Badass™ if you've ridden there. I've been living in Japan for quite a while, but only started riding a couple of years ago.
Great video love the bonneville Can I ask do you know the history of your bonneville?the higher than average milage is interesting on a bike that looks like new I was wondering if the miles had been racked up on summer tours ? Surely it's not been an all year round machine Anyhow keep up the good work friend
Hi Ian, thanks for you comment. That’s a great question 🙂. All I know is that the first owner used the bike regularly and did around 4.5-5 thousand miles per year. My guess is it was primarily a summer riding bike and did longer journeys. The bike didn’t come with a luggage system or rear rack etc so I don’t think it was used for touring purposes. The good condition comes down to the first owner I think. They always had it serviced by Triumph and one other point is the build quality. I think Triumph make bikes with good materials, Paints, chrome etc that last better than other brands which helps them keep that new look after a good clean despite age and mileage. Glad your enjoying the videos! 🤙🏻

@@IanClarke-bi3se that’s interesting. Some good bikes on Auto Trader but I found mine on eBay. The 865cc T100 is also worth a look. Some very nice 2014 models out there, low mileage which have the nice chrome headlight!
Hi Matt, thanks! The jacket is a ‘Richa Bonneville Motorcycle Jacket. Purchased used on eBay as a nearly new jacket. RRP around £200 but I bought for £70. Very pleased with it. Solid all round jacket 🤙🏻
Painiers to me just dont look right...spoil the lines of the bike.....I carry what I can get in a back pack. Thanks Nick. Can you recommend a particular backpack? Once I have the tripod, other equipment and bike chain, it’s a hefty amount of luggage 😅 The green slime is something I’m also interested in, I must look into that!

@@nickaxe771 Once again, thanks for the reply. I had a puncture on my first ride out believe it or not on the Honda cb125s last year and I’ve been quite anxious about taking it out ever since. It was only a thorn which some how managed to pierce the tube about 3 miles from home and my dad rescued me 😂 That said, I have a road trip planned for the Honda soon. I’m thinking of making use of the BIG rear rack and loading it up with a small tent, sleeping bag and some supplies for a weekend in the country side. I recommend the LOMO roll bags with the motone mounts. I run this stuff on long trips and they perform flawlessly.
Awesome, Thanks for the recommendation 👍🏻
