Another good video, I do like a bit of camping as do alot of my friends a few meet up's with Royal Enfielder's Ireland mainly camping trips. Look forwards to the motorcycle camping content.
Good video cheers. Bikes are made for riding. A good old bucket of hot soapy water and some elbow grease when you get home is a small price to pay for being able to get out for a pootle when you need that biking fix, but the forecast and road conditions suggest otherwise. Love the Bonnie btw👍🏍
So glad you enjoyed the video. I wasn’t sure how this would turn out due to the time of year but a timely coffee stop soon warmed me up and put me on for the ride home 🙂 Thanks for commenting 🤙🏻
Well done Steve my bonny is tucked up in bed but out riding on the little one Looking forward to the wingman and following your trips on here Thanks steve
Much as I would love to be out dry days......far to much salt still about waiting to attack my T100. To much chrome and bright work. Glad you enjoyed your ride.....prob be toward march for me.....unless loads of rain to wash the salt away....then I will be out.
Funny you should mention that Nick, as I was travelling along one of the back roads, a gritter came past and all of the salt rocks hit my legs! I never really thought about that happening until yesterday! A good layer of polish and wax will help. I’ve also been using the GT85 which adds a PTFE layer to the bike and gives a nice shine 👍🏻
I would give your bike a power wash down if your can....the alloy cases can corrode badly with it......just to much chrome to risk it. The wheels throw it into all the nocks and crannies. Not being miserable.....but I know you love your bike as I love mine. I have an old hack for this time of your.....but will only use that after a few days of rain.@@surfingsteven1624
Hi Alan, thanks for watching 🤙🏻 my luggage set up is a work in progress 🙂 I have the kriega 28L side panniers but I’m looking at purchasing a rear rack very soon to take the load of the wingman tent. I could use my Rok straps to tie it down to the rear half of the seat but I lose space then for moving around to get comfortable so I think a rack is the way to go. I always said I wouldn’t get a rear rack because of the look but for adventuring they are a must I think!
Which brand and model wax jacket are you wearing, I must get a wax jacket? I also have a modern classic and I have a Wingman Goose which I bought last spring, but unfortunately didn't get round to testing it for the first time - 2023 was a bit of a wash out (my excuse). Maybe this year I'll pull my finger out and plan a camping trip somewhere nearby like the Dales for starters...
It’s the Richa Bonneville Wax Cotton Jacket. I bought it technically used on eBay but it still had tags and was never worn so worked out cheaper than new :) and it’s been an amazing jacket. Nice! Have you tried setting it up yet? Mines still in the box so hoping to do an unboxing / review video very soon! Thanks for your comment and hope you get to enjoy it this year 🤙🏻
@@martinowl I called there during summer and the on site ice cream shop was amazing too. Also, they have a biker night on last weekend of each month in summer I think. Hundreds of bikes go from the photos I’ve seen on Facebook.
I knew of the ice cream, cos my family have visited & had some. Wasn’t aware of the bike nights as far as I can recall. Could be worth a visit this year. Are you aware of the Lincolnshire bike nights on Wednesday through spring, summer & autumn? Haven’t been for a couple of years due to Wednesday nights not being available but prior to that went often.

I feel exactly the same, buddy. I also purchased the Wingman recently and now I'm just waiting for spring. Ride safe and cheers from Austria 🤘🏻
Cool! Did you get the Goose? Thanks for commenting 🤙🏻
@@surfingsteven1624 Yes, the Goose. Fits my Bonnie perfectly!

Also watch Matt on his channel “Classic Rides” for tips on lightweight camping gear etc, I’ve bought some and they are great.
Cool, thanks! 😉
