The Yorkshire Dales are gods own country with magnificent roads and beautiful villages. It takes days if not weeks to visit all its wonders like buttertubs, Tanfield, Hawes, Reeth, Thwaite etc etc etc. You just can't beat it.
I nearly used biking heaven in the video title 🙂 I had so much fun in those valleys. I felt like I was on a roller coaster at times with the dips and turns. Stark contrast to my ride in Lincolnshire recently. Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
I absolutely love the looks of your bike Steven. I am very interested in getting a Bonneville, and that blue and white is so good looking. When you combine it with that scenery I can’t help but get inspired. That’s my kind of riding.
Thanks Mike 👍🏻 there are lots of nice colour schemes to choose from with the Bonneville. The white and red is also a favourite of mine. You won’t be disappointed with the quality of the bike either. She gets compliments where ever she goes! Happy riding. Let me know if you decide to get one 🤙🏻
Another great vid thanks Steven. Good to hear you’re a fellow Yorkshireman too. I’m v lucky to live close to Nidderdale and so have the Dales as my playground. We’ve got the east yorkshire coast all the way west to the border with Cumbria/Lancashire to go at. And then South York’s and into the Peak District. It’s fair to say we’re spoilt for choice.🤗🏍 Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next one👍
Glad you enjoyed the video Paul. Oh wow, very nice 👌🏻 I will hopefully be spending more time in and around Yorkshire’s national parks and its coast line. I must get up to Robin Hoods bay as I haven’t yet been and the Lake District too. I will be taking the Wingman Goose tent for sure. See you in the next one 🤙🏻
Got to say I completely agree with you on the camping thing Steven certainly when your my age 😉 nice place and those roads look in pretty good nick which is rare I live in west yorkshire for my sins and around where I am they are terrible .Apple crumble good choice don't normally do pubs but I will say that did look like good food and a cider can't be bad to wash it down well done 👌👍
Thinking about it, the roads were in really good condition! Quite surprising really given the weather can be really severe over winter. I’ve recently purchased a proper motorcycle tent to hopefully make camping more pleasant. Videos to come on that real soon. Thanks for watching. PS, I’m South Yorkshire so I’m in the same boat haha 🤙🏻
Nice work Steve, really enjoy the laid back vibe of your channel. Yeah loud jets, I had sunroof open going up the M50 years ago and one of thoes flew over me quite low, frightened the life out of me 😂
Thanks, glad you’re enjoying the channel 🤙🏻 Im sure they do it on purpose 😂 it was such a cool start to the ride! You just never know what you’ll see sometimes.
Enjoyed cruising through those wide open spaces with you. No houses for miles. Then when you do see one, it's built right up against the road - nothing else around it! Go figure. Excellent combination of Airbnb and local pub there. Cheers from Alabama
Glad you enjoyed the video! It’s so great to see my channel reaching Alabama, that’s really cool! It’s all part of the charm in the Yorkshire Dales 🙂 How are the roads for biking in Alabama?
Thanks John 👍🏻 I wear a Shoei Glamster Gloss Black Helmet. I like this because it has an old school style (not too big and bulky) but a really good safety rating. I wear a Richa Bonneville wax cotton jacket with removable armour in the elbows, shoulder and back. Excellent jacket for the money (I paid £75 on eBay for pre owned but with never worn). It has a removable thermal liner and is a great fit for a slim guy like me. Size small. Gloves are the Revit winter gloves but are a solid all rounder. Boots are the TCX blend 2. Great Italian boots which you can wear comfortably when walking around with jeans but have a good safety rating. Overall I can’t complain about my riding gear, I love it all. Helmet was £400, gloves £80 and boots around £200 (from memory) so not cheap by any means but I’ve tried to save money where I can and get quality items that will last. All links for my stuff can be found in the video description 🤙🏻 Hope this helps 🙂
Lovely bike, nice ride, thanks. You picked a better time of year for the dales than Freddie Dobbs’ recent journey into dark, foggy, terror! PS. Mr. KTM has really bought into the brand hasn’t he?! 😁
Thankfully I picked a lovely summers day but if I was to go over winter like Freddie, I would be quite happy to be on a Honda Transalp. What a machine! I wonder if Freddie will be a converted adventure bike rider now? Must be a dream to ride! Yes so true 😂 Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
Apple crumble everytime. 👍👍

Well said 🙂. I’m sure I’ll be back over the summer. Might be a tad more traffic but hopefully it will be quiet in the hills 👍🏻
Apple crumble and custard 👍🏻
The Yorkshire Dales are biking heaven. Luckily they're right on my doorstep too! Glad you're enjoying them.

Those jets were cool! Perfect timing to have caught them. 👍
Sure was! I would love to know how fast they travelling. Must be a dream to pilot one of those.
Another great video Steven! Loved the coverage of the jets! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video 🙂
Looks to have been an epic trip. That steak looked very nice too. Cheers.
Thanks Mark! The steak came from a local farm and was such a treat. A wholesome meal was just what I needed after a full day of riding.
Thanks for taking us along with you.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching 🤙🏻

Class video so thank you, all looks good I would go for Pie peas and chips and for pudding treacle sponge and custard.
Oo nice choice. It’s the simple things in life that keep us happy isn’t it 😂 Thanks for watching, glad you enjoy the video 🤙🏻
Another good old Yorkshire delicacy is raspberry jam and cheese on toast 😁😁@@surfingsteven1624

Beautiful ride Steve. The bike looks great. can you share what gear you use when you’re riding? Helmet, jacket. Pros/Cons? Ride safe.Thanks.
