Cool video can you tell me if you felt a difference? You must of felt a little something considering twin K&N's. Iv'e ran K&N on everything Iv'e ever owned even on my new at the time 93 Mustang I put an S-trim Vortech with a K&N on the back of the blower!
@@RSmith1982 You are correct, super strange but K&N air filters do not go will with c230 id rather go with the factory air filters which are Maan Filters.. I heard that those K&N air filters triggers the Engine Light to come on.
Using an oil-bath filter could screw up one of the many sensors on this car if it has a little too much oil on it. Which is a major headache. And you are not going to see any improvement in performance from using it.
@@accidental_relevance isn't the oil to stop particles since the k and n have bigger gaps (patterned after for YESHUA GOD ALMIGHTY have moisture in the nose)? Without it, it's probably better to use regular filters than to risk particles eh?
@@RSmith1982 Yes the oil attracts the dirt. They are adequate with exactly the right amount of oil. Not enough oil and more dirt gets through than a paper filter. Too much oil and airflow is restricted until the engine eventually sucks oil or coated dirt into the intake. My experience with them has not been good, but maybe you'll have better luck.
You should do more of these how to's for this make and model. I also own this car, very helpful. Thanks
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the video appreciated very much
thanks . really good to know. 👍
Thanks

Be careful if you decide to clean and re-oil the filter. A little too much oil can mess up your MAF sensor among other things.
Very helpful video. Did you feel the difference by upgrading the air filters to K&N, gas and power wise.
not really, but it's nice to wash them and reuse them
@@wllymchng I read years ago that they were bad for the engine, that they let particles through. What's your opinion on them?

we’re can i even you find those air hose ???
Use a torx head driver instead of using those little Allen wrenches. Lot's easier and faster.
Cool! Now I know
I’m having trouble with those hex keys, the screws aren’t going down as I please
No oil on the K&N Filter?
