Yes as long as you have the same engine everything will be the same.

Mercedes says to not use 5w-30. Am I wrong about this?
i never saw that for this engine, most recommended is 5w30 or 5w40 full synthetic for this engine. 5w40 is for wormer temperatures.
i would check for your specific engine ,this is a v6 2.5l

No no no : this engines takes 8.0 liters and the dip stick you are using to measure oil level is for the transmission oil not the engine oil. There is no oil dip stick for this model, you have to check the oil level on the display using oil level settings. thanks
Your probably thinking of a newer model vehicle, because this car doesn't have a transmission dipstick, just a tube with a cap on it.
I've got a c280 and my dipstick is the exact same location
Why try to correct someone when you have no idea what you're talking about? That 100% is the oil dipstick.
Wrong, I have an 722.9 sealed trans no dipstick buddy just for oil
how do you check the level of fluid without wiping it off and reinserting it? Its gonna be wet if you just pull it out and read it/
