It’s mental how US students can basically apply to as many as you want - in the UK we can apply to FIVE maximum.
Is that a law? Do UK colleges talk to each other?
@@JohnVKaravitisAll British universities are applied to via one portal: UCAS. You can choose up to 5 universities using that portal.
So what happens if you get rejected from all five?
@@VersedYT probably why they apply to US Universities as well
Yes but there are less uk unis and they have higher acceptance rates! Coming from a uk student here
CONGRATS ON UCLA🎉🎉 u should be so proud of yourself
Tysm!
Tysm!
congrats on your acceptances and on making it through application season! a comment below said something about it being unbelievable you applied to 32 colleges and I agree, you put in a lot of effort and still got into some amazing choices :D plus, I really like how you accepted rejections and deferrals - a lot of times those hit the hardest, but like you said in your advice, the process is random and we do what we can. After all, happy endings are possible no matter where you go :) best of luck to you!
congrats on UCLA! i’m so nervous about admissions for myself this coming year! 😬🤞my dream is Brown’s PLME program
You’ll do great! Just trust in the hard work that you have put in and let the application do its job
Congrats on UCLA! It’s a great school. Keep working hard and you will do well in life.
woah no safeties, that's some risky business - CONGRATS on your many acceptances!
Back in my day, you got the letters in the mail. If you got a thick large envelope, you knew you were in (housing info, financial aid etc). If you got a thin envelope, it was usually bad news as I understand (I got acceptances to all my choices).
That must have been so cool. I got a few acceptances packages and they are absolutely incredible and exciting to open

@@PeterJWangyou copied and pasted the same comment twice
Congrats on all the colleges accepted!! I’ve been stressing about college admissions and I’ve been taking initiative actions in my school. I’m going into my junior year now but I was wondering if there are any tips I should know? I’ve been doing extra curricular a and activities like Ted Ex but im still worried 😕
Don’t stress! Just do things that you love, and motivation and success will find their way to you
Congrats! I wish you also applied to Caltech, Dartmouth, Emory, GTech, UIUC, UCSD, UWashington, BU, Northeastern
Yeah, I wish I did too because they are amazing schools, but I just didn’t have time, nevertheless I’d recommend people to apply there
he literally did apple to ucsd , & u shudnt b judging where some1 did or didnt apply
Why do you wish he applied to more schools? What does that matter to you?
I wonder how much is college application fees now. Can every parent afford to pay?
Did you apply to UC schools as California resident or international?
Congratulations 🥳🎉💕
I really enjoy watching young people post their reactions to college admissions. It makes me happy. ❤️
Congratulation on making to UCLA! I have one more year to work through until I apply to UCLA. I hope i can get into too!
can i message u on ig for advise and stuff?
Nice video and congrats! fyi... Dartmouth is only a two hour drive from Boston's Logan Airport, whereas Cornell is truly "in the middle of nowhere" unless you live Upstate New York. Nice college, but it's quite a trek, especially if you're trying to get there from the West Coast. Williams College, same deal. It's a three hour drive after you land in Boston. Lol
To get to Williams, you fly into Albany.
What a great outlook for a young man! Congratulations and enjoy your time at college!!!! I’m a firm believer that if you’re a motivated, hard working, kind person you will succeed no matter where you go!
Really love the tips at the end and congrats on UCLA!
hello peter I am currently In 11th grade turning 12th grade 1 month from now and I'm confused weather I should apply this year somewhere in September or next year somewhere on August for class of 2028???
I started doing my application the August right before my senior year, which includes drafting a resume and writing college essays :)
@@PeterJWang so does that means I can apply this year in August??
Bro u should’ve applied to Caltech since it’s the best school in the world besides MIT. Congrats for UCLA tho, one of my dream school.
No it’s not
32 schools is too many to apply to. Seems like you just applied to vanity schools willy nilly without any sense of finding a place that is right for you.
happy for peter
Tysm!
What Major did you apply for? I am curious.
Bro tell me your story after 12th to how you get college and grade
Saw UWM i live in Wisconsin. Love the badgers haven’t watched the choice yet! Hoping for the best. Go Badgers
Congratulations on getting into UCLA! It's my alma mater and I miss it dearly. If I ever win a huge Lottery I'll quit my job and go back to School there full-time and get my masters
32 colleges is insane 😭 but congrats!!!!!!!
My god you spelled Ann Arbor WRONG! It’s not Ann harbor 🤦♂️😂
Nice work no safeties, and very realistic indeed. Congrats on UCLA that's a big deal
I am happy for peter that he got into UCLA.
Damn u had the money to apply for all those?
Did you apply as an international student?
without stats, I have to dislike your video.
bro is a goat. So happy that you bro!!
All the best bro 👍🏻
How did you ED 2 schools?
nah bro got rejected from everything
Fr lmao
Least you got UCLA, I am glad you get that, Yale, Harvard and Princeton are too much be the most perfect student are in the earth (and then you get in) also poeple of officer make you don't pass is 100% sure this kinda happen with everyone.

Is it the admission to colleges or some toefl IELTS score for abroad universities??
I'm also Peter!!!!!
Vex 😊
Can you make a video about like your grades gpa your extracurriculars and just stuff you think helped you get in??
Congratulation , US system also really grate education system in US. Enjoy your classes.
What are the stats
Really curious how much the cumulative cost of application fees set you back?
app fees are usually $60-$80 bucks. $70 is the median and he applied to 32 schools….I’d imagine about $2240 😅
CONGRATS!!!
Thanks!
at least bro got into UCLA. tryna make UCLA one of my safeties
Do you have a list of US universities and their possible portal application opening dates?
What is Deferred? You mean WAIT LISTED??
wow, award from vex worlds
i got no motivation to write my essays D:

Dudeee I want more content from u pls keep uploading I’ll watch every vid pls I beg u keep uploading plllllsssssss
Your friend said you were calling mother figure 😂 congrats!
Glad For Peter & You Both !!!!!
Someday, none of this will matter. Just a thought.
YEAH PETER! GOOD JOB GETTING INTO UCLA MAN!!
congratulations!!!!
You belong to the UC. Congratulations. Try again at your masters.
Can you post a high school stats video? Thanks!
If i had to choose between berkeley or ucla i will choose ucla anyday. Or choose the school that provides the best scholarship of the 2.
IM HAPPY FOR PETER (lol)
Bro how do you know when to apply
Are you from usa
Nah, I’m an international student studying in Cali :)
@@PeterJWang ohh Which college are you in and how much did it cost in total
@@PeterJWangof international students have it harder. And affirmative action makes Asians have a smaller chance too. Good job!
Why do asians get rejected most of the time
SAT score? It's so impressive to see someone get in all of these schools
What was your SAT score?
I am not happy for Peter. :)
You have good friends.
happy for peter!
Thank you!
bro, what SAT test you have?
UCLA is a good school! College admissions just like job hunting, offer or reject. Another important thing is money . Will you want to pay $320K to study at an ivy school?
Tysm! Tuition is definitely a huge factor in my consideration and UCLA offers a great price while providing an amazing college experience. I’m genuinely so excited, especially about where it’s located :)
I went to Yale College and grad school. Yale has a very large endowment and finds a way to make finances work. Look into it at any Ivy
@@unndunn1exactlyyyyy, the ivies and a number of top schools have fantastic financial aid programs so that you can make it work
@@liamblack2009 also other schools. When my daughter applied Stanford guaranteed no student from a family making less than $200K would leave with more than $20K in debt. They will provide tuition waivers, work/study, and other forms of aid. Stanford has a $40B endowment to make this happen.
dartmouth shade not warranted
i love you peter
You are very smart bro wow
thats a lot of colleges
it is ca school
Happy for Peter! :))
Ty :)
Honestly, UMich should reject you if you say it is in Ann Harbor.
😂
😆
happy for peter!!!
Ty!
asians.
Congratulations
congrats on ucla :)
Totally ridiculous to apply to 32 colleges.
I'd say that if you can do it, why not? Sometimes the college decision process is such a curveball that applying to more colleges can widen your net and increase your chances of getting into a good school (and consequently, getting a better financial aid package since top schools usually give out better aid, depending on your financial situation).
When you apply to schools at the highest level, you never know what the outcome will be. I mean his acceptance rate for the schools was only about 35%. If he only applied to around 6, he’s looking at no more than 2 or so schools to choose from. Even at 10 he’s only looking at 3 or 4
@jacindapaf8078 its called takeing procation
It’s called not risking it. It’s for safer measurements so you can be reassured you’ll be accepted into at least one, usually.
it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, but at least it’s not your money.
Happy for Peter

hello peter

i am student actually i finish the high school in the Arabic school
i want you help me to applying all university that you know about it
Also, the high school in Arabian might be different of the time of apply to the university in USA
Can i get your Instagram to connect with you and advise me how to apply in the website plz pro
Are you in 12th grade
Yep, I just graduated :)
I'm in 9th grade I'm from India and Where are you from
So cute. Keep up a great work.
😍😍😍
Good luck man
stats?
Coming in the next couple days, stay tuned!
where are you going?
Go Bruins!
Can u post a video going over your stats and extracurriculars
Yep coming up soon in a few days!
Seems suspicious, you didn’t show your screen, always outside, no parents….
Imagine applying to 32 schools. It is simply making the acceptance rate lower than what it should be and giving the admission officers not as much time to look at other applications. This is just not necessary and it’s a complete waste of time. How much money do you have to waste? It’s destructive to the process.
let him do what he wants😭 he was just giving himself a bunch of options. and he probably got fee waivers
@@applepi3013 bro clearly was not smart enough for all those schools
@@dashaway3978 Then how'd he get into the school?
I know someone who applied to like 40 schools. And It worked out for her. You can get free application waivers if you're low income btw. If she didn't apply to 40 schools she probably wouldn't have applied to the T20 school she's going to. I couldn't be bothered to do anything similar plus my stats were way worse than hers. But I'm glad she went in like "I'm going to do this" and did it and got what she wanted out of it.
Thats why "waitlist" Exist. If he is accepted to so many schools, then the schools that he doesnt choose will give that slot for peoples in the waitlist. I think thats how it works
Supremely wrong. Hope the Supreme Court fixes this once and for all
What were your stats
I’ll make a video on my stats (and specially on UC application) really soon, stay tuned!

It is stupid to apply so many schools.
Just leave him alone bro 💀
Spend more time writing better essays, getting better grades and recommendation letters by applying fewer schools. You can always transfer to a better school after one year if you do well in the lower ranked admitted school. I knew someone transfer to Yale after first year at IU. I would go to UCLA if I am you.
Yeah, but was it necesary to say "it is stupid to apply so many schools"? It's so rude
It’s stupid to comment because what’s done is done and your opinion means nothing.
