You're so lucky...it was my dream since childhood to go to a good college in a city atleast...but i belong from a poor family so actually the situation was like I was barely afford college studies so I got an addmission in a college which is in my hometown...and I'm in my final year rn...i studied in college with my scholarship money i didn't take anything from my family....I'm trying to get a job right now...I'm preparing for an entrance exam besides college studies...I'm saying this because I never thought that my life would be like this.... when I was a kid all i thought was being in college would be fun .... friends, parties, trips and all but ...the reality is completely the opposite 😂....

Got into both, with a scholarship from Tulane. Congrats! I cant decide which to go too lol. JHU would be bloomberg though. ranked #1

@@patrickting5130 so so so easy! most majors overlap really nicely and they let u apply credits for classes into both majors. im in ksas so I have a better perspective than whiting (im not sure what ur major is). I have a lot of engineering friends and I think its a little harder to do double majoring in whiting but ppl still do it. I have friends who do compsci and mol cell bio, or some other combos. in ksas, its pretty common for there to be double majors (even triple) with minors. my best friend is double majoring and has 4 minors LOL.. hope that answered ur question but feel free to respond back to this thread and I can answer some more questions
@@patrickting5130 I dont know much about whiting tbh, but I was actually a comp medicine minor at one point (but dropped it lol). bioethics and engineering u can definitely do. comp medicine u probably could do with overlap from engineering courses, but the reason I dropped comp med was it was just a minor, but yet it had very similar requirements to a major, so it didnt make sense for me.. it was a lot of coding which Im not a fan of, but if thats the route u wanna take, the advisors can help u plan out a 4 year plan that will make u reach each requirement, even if that means overloading in the semesters

If you haven't made a decision, I would recommend either Berkeley or Johns Hopkins, both of which you were accepted to. Congratulations! You still have a chance to get into your dream schools for graduate degrees (Master & PhD) four years later even though you might not have been admitted this time. I wish you the best!
