Yeah no worries. It’s just one of those things that drives you crazy the first time but having used blender for so long you pick it up and never run into the problem again
Thanks for the reply. Now im seeing that no matter which points i use as my floor the floor is canted. Changing points changes the angle but its never correct from cam perspective. Any ideas?
@@animusvisual make sure those point don’t shift or anything like that. Try selecting points further away from each other or if that doesn’t work, you’ll need to manually add some floor points to your scene.
@Jacob_Zirkle many of those were my manual points. But good tips ill try to add a few more points.
It would be great to see similar lessons, but with movement. Falling, unfolding, etc. such videos are very popular on instagram right now.

after adding hdri texture in layout and rendering the background changed to hdri texture instead of original reference video sequence, please help how to fix

I have a question, you remove the lens distortion at the beginning. But when you export the CGI and compose it in Blender, you have put the original video (which does have lens distortion) with this I wonder that in the final composition, should you add lens distortion to the make up too? That is, now it is as if your video has distortion but the make up does not. In Nuke, when you remove the distortion at the end of all the nodes, you add them back. How would this be done in Blender?
How long (ish) did Blender take to render this short scene? Great job by the way.
For me it took about 36 minutes with a 9750h and 2060 mobile GPU. Of course if I was doing this for a client it would take much longer since I used low quality settings for the render

@@soundarraj-if5jc honestly there’s no one way to find clients. Just have good set of skills and make sure you showcase your work as much as possible online and you’ll start getting noticed.

It means that your camera track floor is off so just make sure the ground plane is accurate by choosing new floor markers and a lower solve error.

dear jacob, could you please tell why dont u use addon ae2blend? it is not so precise?
Unfortunately after effects tracking doesn’t get an accurate ground plane. It’s great for graphics and compositing in after effects but when you need CGI it’s not as accurate as it needs to be. Tbh even blender isn’t that accurate but still better than Ae2blend. I use Syntheyes for my tracking
Where do you think we should learn syntheyes? All videos are like kinda old. What did u ued while learning it? @@Jacob_Zirkle
@@AbdullahYazbahar honestly I just looked up videos on TH-cam however since I’ve used many different camera tracking programs before, I was able to use some of my prior knowledge to piece together information

I followed all the steps, but when I try to export the animation, it only renders a single frame with the steps separated. I would like to finish the composition in After Effects. Thank you for teaching such rich content. A hug from Brazil 🇧🇷
For my workflow. I actually perfer AE + Blender (AE2BLENDER) . However, I think that Blender can handle the tracking a lot better than it used to. So I may switch. Thank you.
the trees infront ob the makeup bottles are blocked by them...
Yeah I noticed that too. This was just a concept piece so I didn’t bother with the trees
@@Jacob_Zirkle when u focus on the bottles you dont really notice it. Its just something i also struggle with sometimes and there are different ways to fix it i think.
