This video isn't so much about the blender, but the videography. The plot, scenes, lights, colours, the whole picture start to look very cinematic. its not just about Smeaf doing some crazy stuff in blender and sharing it. is it the beginning of new, videographic smeaf era? anyway, I loved the video, great job!
I was so engaged with this video that I only noticed how little views it has after I was already done watching, this deserves HEAPS more views! Well done mate!
What a king! You actually did it! I watched the whole thing. Amazing skills, interesting and catchy story and a fiasco at the end!!! Oh man, what every good story needs!
dude you are my hero right now i just bought an rtx 4080 and have started my journey as a product animator and im still have a long way to go. Seeing you go through the same things i go through gives me hope cause i get stuck and i feel so alone and depressed but thanks to this video i believe in myself again. keep doing what you are doing because you are helping me more than you know
manz said " i need a haircut so let me craft a beautiful physiologically crafted TH-cam video including recalls, gamify, chronological storytelling, high-stake, and cleaver sound design to achieve that"
What made me curious here was the budget. So, 15-second 3D product videos for big brands like Google, even if "relatively simple" like your example, cost 100,000K? Does this value represent an average, or was it just a random figure? A clickbait?
@@31pas0 Yeah definitely, all the marketing strats aside this is just $100-500 commercial on technical level. However it could get quite expensive like up to $50K if complicated advanced VFX were introduced with far better art direction.
@@31pas0 I wonder what you could actually offer in this type of commercials that's so valuable besides the graphics? I mean there's not much room for brainstorming something to make it sell better if it's mostly just animated product viz with some voiceover/text. On another hand I get those different type of ads which lets say could be some food for kids product and you then have 1min~ Pixar/DreamWorks style furry eating and complimenting it in the commercial but most commercials are simply all about the graphics, cool scenes and VFX.
Nice work man! Looked legit to me. As a graphic designer getting more into 3D through Blender I love to see it able to produce stuff on this level. Do you have a full in depth tutorial on how you made this?
If I was there, I reckon I’d have gone for Google too. Here’s the thing: when those four speakers merge, it looks a bit glitchy, if you know what I mean. I use Blender myself, so I’d sort that transition out to be smoother. Can’t believe those first two guys didn’t clock it.
I know this video has been up a while and you probably don’t check the comments anymore, but if you happen to… Can you explain how you did the lights under the fabric at 7:51? It looks absolutely perfect. I had to go talk to my Google and compare it, it’s literally the same. And maybe also… how did you get your fabric to look so good? For me, surfaces with small details (bump, normal or displacement maps) never show very well. This was lovely. Great freaking work.
The reason it might look simple to you is because you aren't factoring in the years of hardwork and dedication that it took for Smeaf to get to this level. So yes advertisers need to spend every penny cause it's worth it.
BRO HOW YOU'RE EDITING THAT WELL!! BRAVOOO but anyway ! we (at least me) knew that you're going to shave hair cause you spoiled it at the very begining .... BUT WHITHOUT THAT UR JUST ONE OF MY FAVORITE TH-camR!
The only thing I would of picked on would be the imperfections of the material on your speakers. Advertisers most always have unreal pristine materials. No smudges, no smears and wear marks.
This was fun to watch ur process kudos u got this n capcut good move also many ai tools available u can use next time esp for sound effect, music , assets and animation to help w time 😉

You know they say comedians like Smeaf are the last line of defense.
Why spoiler dude
Smeaf youre such a great story teller. Your editing style is just as great as your renders!

Yea what the hell, I thought it would have at least 200K.
its not even been a day lol chill
It shows that the issue lies in the title/thumbnail, because the content is fire. I thought this was 1M views or something.

Man the end cut of the video got me laughing so hard
I cant understand what he said 🥲

The real amazing part is rgetting that client that's gonna pay $100,000 for a commercial

the basic ads doesn't cost this much....
The "can I touch you" at the end killed me 😂

But why is the video called $100,000 commerical?..
It’s supposed to look like a 100k commercial I think
@@michieme228 not sure if the auteur actually knows, exactly what costs 100k in a 100k commercial. Spoiler alert: not the graphics.

Smeaf : im not a music producer
Also Smeaf : plays unironically good music...
Don't feel bad; 2 out of 3 ain't bad-and you look great with a short haircut.

love the BTS, almost as much as the new cut :)

really good editing, the audio effects and the crisp voice recording, really good video...
Pulling off that buzz cut like a champion 💪
As someone that works in the Industry. It Video isnt work 100k If Google would want to produce it. Its more of a 5-7k video.
fiverr guy still can make it for less than 200$
5:51 bro discovered the convex hull method all by himself, big props smeaf
Okay this is officially my favorite blender TH-camr
