    A great video pal. Very informative. Currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Professional Management and i wonder if maybe i could look at consultancy as a career option.

    Heard about those case studies before. That'd be a video I'd like to see more of!

    Nice love the video. How long did you have your Chanel before you got monetized?

      It took me about 8 months, I talk about it in the video before this one called how I made my first £1 online

    I’ve always considered this an interesting field to work in. Still, I’ve never really made an attempt to approach consulting. I graduated with a BA in history and specialized in classical text and literature, so I guess I’m sort of in the same boat as you were previously. Its comforting to hear your story, but I find it difficult to locate positions that are not wanting years of experience and a STEM education background. I usually don’t push my luck when those type of requirements are specifically singled out as “REQUIRED.” I could only image resume algorithms skipping over me or HR reps rolling their eyes at a guy with a history/classical/economic philosophy background.
    I currently work as a wood-shop carpenter, but previously spent over 2 years in insurance. That also doesn’t really seem to line up with most job listings. Thanks for the video! I’ll do my research.

      it's interesting for sure, especially if you're in a field that excites you, good luck!

    Sometimes I just wonder, why do companies go for all these processes before hiring someone?
    I mean tests + a case study and a group task + a video interview + a final interview, it is such a draining energy for an individual.
    Do you agree with me 😁😁?
    Btw great video 👍🏻👍🏻

    • @tintinsmith
      @tintinsmith  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do, it Is draining for candidates, but equally it seems to be worth the time for them because they can be more sure they’re getting the people they want. They also get so many applicants it can be hard to tell just from CVs and cover letters

    • @Abdellah.AB1
      @Abdellah.AB1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tintinsmith I agree with you 100%. A CV and cover letter is not enough for sure. My point was, going for all these interviews is too much. A group task + a face to face interview is more than enough.

    • @tintinsmith
      @tintinsmith  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah you’re probably right tbh, but lots of them do it so it must be worth it for them in some sense otherwise you think they’d change it

    • @Abdellah.AB1
      @Abdellah.AB1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tintinsmith I don’t know if that is a question for me, but yeah I really hope they would change their hiring process 👍🏻👍🏻
