Hey. I have the aw3225qf but there is something that drives me crazy... There is flickering with G-Sync turned on. It's mainly in situations with gray on the screen like in dark situations which are not 100% black or a little bit lighter. It does happen in loadingscreens too. Is that a common issue for that monitor? Is it a common issue for OLED monitors? I tried it without G-Sync and everything worked perfectly fine. But without G-Sync the games doesn't feel as smooth as with it and have screen-tearing. Could anyone tell me if that is normal and if other OLED monitors (like the Asus pg32ucdm) doesn't have this issue? It's really really sad that this has VRR flickering because if it wouldn't have it, it would be a perfect monitor. I'm thinking about returning it because that isn't acceptable for 1000 bucks to be honest. (Latest Firmware is installed) Would be really nice if anyone can help!

@sajithsaji3606 as a rtx 3080 owner you really aren't correct...4k works I recently played alan wake 2 (a stupidly demanding game certain parts of the game were rough but 90% of it was amazing this is just fps drops) he can run at 4k he just can't have everything ultra medium and high settings 4k dlss performance he will be fine.
If you plan to upgrade your gpu (I'm waiting for 5090 or 5080 hell if 5070 is good I will consider it) I don't know how long you owned your 3080 it's still a powerful gpu...I suggest the Alienware dwf model ! It's a great monitor regarding your gpu the 50 series arrive next year I suggest getting a gpu upgrade then...3080 is still strong 💪 as a 3080 owner I've tried 4k and 1440p at 4k you won't be able to have everything on ultra due to vram issues but you should still be able to play anything on the market with medium and (maybe 2 or 3 things on high or ultra) but I suggest medium and dlss on performance...Ray tracing you can have on but sadly some games are not a smooth experience just games are demanding these days doubt what I said helped...but if u get this u will get a amazing monitor ! But the alienware dwf or this are my suggestions.
I think it depends on what games you're going to be running and also if you want the highest fidelity. You will get more out of your 3080 with a 1440. I suggest looking into 4K performance benchmarks to see if you're satisfied with the performance the 3080 can achieve. Bro great vid. I’ve got it and love this monitor w/4090 as well. Quick question, what is the control box thing under your monitor that you can see in the last chapter of the vid?
You’re absolutely right, completely forgot the additional HDMI port on the soundbar 😅 I had set one up on my LG C1 years ago and only used one HDMI to the ARC on TV and never used the additional slot on the soundbar since TV has 4 HDMI slots. Thanks for pointing that out !
Initially, I wasn't impressed with the image on the Alienware Oled as I was coming from a 48" LG C2 Oled. But, after adjusted the brightness/contrast settings to 100 and enabled HDR 1000 the image is as good or better than the LG with the added benefit of 240Hz vs the 120Hz. Very happy with the upgrade and feel the price is great for what you're getting.
@FireWolfTech It took a solid (8hrs +) day of gaming to get comfortable with the size difference. It was pretty rough at first but got easier after putting the monitor on an arm and moving it closer to my seating position. The 48" was all the way back on my desk and the 32" is comfortable at around half the distance. 👍
@drunkhusband6257 What? HDR on a Good HDR monitor/TV is a game changer. It's the equivalent of going from black and white to color or from 1080p to 4k. It's Gorgeous! But, just because a monitor/TV has HDR doesn't mean it's GOOD HDR. A lot of cheaper products implementation of HDR is lackluster and ruin the image. I think these past experiences have caused a lot of people to think HDR isn't a great feature. I'm pretty sure that opinion will be changing soon. OLED and HDR are a match made in Heaven. 💯
Resurgence is almost similar to a shipment match, on warzone the performance does suffer a lot because of the huge map so if I need more frames, I’d start dropping the graphics presets until I’m satisfied with the FPS. Def need DLSS on Ultra Performance 😂

It came to me with the old firmware so you need to connect a usb right away to the monitor and update firmware else you will have problems with the HDR and menu systems. Note I had to do a clean up install of my video card to then get the HDR support to even pick up windows after each restart even post firmware upgrade. standard GPU driver repair install was not enough.
I just bought this monitor looking forward to receiving it, I want to buy an arm what is the reference of your arm for the screen? thank you for your beautiful video
The arm in this video is the Ergotron HX but its very expensive and really meant for heavier and large ultrawide monitors. I would recommend instead the Ergotron LX version as it supports lower weight and is less expensive but still giving you a premium monitor arm
Very informative video thanks Only question I have for gaming what monitor do you prefer the Alienware ultrawide or this 32 inch? I have the ultrawide like you and was curious if it would be worth the upgrade. Thanks
I personally prefer ultrawide monitors, and going from a 21:9 to 16:9 is going to take time to get used to. Which Alienware ultrawide do you have now ? If you have the 34-inch, the switch might not be that bad since it’s not a dramatic change, and you’ll enjoy the better screen, resolution, and gaming performance
For console only there's many options, but if you want to experience OLED, then I would highly recommend this monitor if you don't mind the high price tag. Just keep in mind that you'll have to use your headphones, or an ARC enabled speaker for sound
@@FIREWOLFTECH well I play on Xbox and use a gaming headset. I like the looks of this but also looking at the new LG27gs95qe since the last year model was claimed to be too dark

Quick tip when playing MW3 don’t cap ur fps inside the game settings you will somehow lose more frames just put it to unlimited frames and cap it from nvidia control panel you will notice an increase on your FPS + download MSI after burner and pump the power & temps high no need for OC it will help you out getting a bit more performance
Great video but I didn't hear you mention that sweet HDMI with eARC port which is huge for console gamers especially. You can hook up any HDMI soundbar and maintain your console's UHD 120Hz HDR VRR ALLM without compromise thanks to eARC/ARC.
I didn't consider it to be a plus only because you're going to have a monitor on a desk where you might not have the space for a soundbar. Most have PC speakers that don't have arc. But I will definitely look into the benefits so I can ensure my future videos are more informative so I appreciate you sharing those details 🔥
@@FIREWOLFTECH thanks, it's def a huge plus and very rare in monitors. I use my monitor as a TV and it even sits on a TV stand. This is mainly due to a small space and 32 is my max. So I am thrilled to see a 32" monitor with eARC.
HDR is NOT a game changer in any way shape or form. It is junk software tech that completely ruins image quality and brightness. You need to learn to properly adjust your sdr settings and enjoy the superior experience.@@suyt4063
No, you can not. This could be addressed in a future firmware update. I really hope they add that ability as it's annoying to have to disable hdr to change any display settings or cycle thru different modes.
Really nice Video bro! I like curved monitors but at 32 inch with the aspect ratio of 16:9 its a bit senseless IMO! But oled is the best. I wish this would be like 39 inch because you cant really use the 4k resolution on this monitor. The surface is just to small. Text looks crispy and all but for productivity its just not worth it. You cant use this monitor at 100%.
I appreciate the feedback 🔥 I also agree about the aspect ratio, which is why if you go for this, you may want to pick a second one for better productivity. Maybe if you have 2 AW3225QF monitors, you can use 100% 🤔 lol
@@tauhidkhondker465 you need to set Windows on 150% scaling. Otherwise everything is too small. In my opinion 4k on 32 inch is not usable with a 100% scaling because Everything is tiny small. And with 150 the screen area is to small to have even two Windows side by side.

You don't lose an HDMI port with eARC. Plug your console into soundbar, then soundbar to Monitor.
Does eArc work? Rtings says it doesn’t.
You better not buy a soundbar 😞
How you doing this with one eArc port on soundbar
@@taskmaster5437not having a bar of it?
Initially, I wasn't impressed with the image on the Alienware Oled as I was coming from a 48" LG C2 Oled. But, after adjusted the brightness/contrast settings to 100 and enabled HDR 1000 the image is as good or better than the LG with the added benefit of 240Hz vs the 120Hz. Very happy with the upgrade and feel the price is great for what you're getting.
🔥 thanks for sharing. How was the adjustment from 48 to 32 ?
@FireWolfTech It took a solid (8hrs +) day of gaming to get comfortable with the size difference. It was pretty rough at first but got easier after putting the monitor on an arm and moving it closer to my seating position. The 48" was all the way back on my desk and the 32" is comfortable at around half the distance. 👍
So you basically ruined the image quality by turning on HDR...nice.
More nonsense spewing. HDR is absolute dog shit, and one of the biggest marketing scams of the last 20 years.@@curtdazzle9416
Does it work good on ps5 ?
Should i get display port 1.4 or hdmi 2.1 for support 4k at 240hz?
I use DisplayPort 1.4
I doesn’t have an audio jack how do I use with my consoles
The only option is using an eARC HDMI speaker
How did you get those tab shapes? 16:02
I am assuming its from Windows 11
Great unboxing review. I’m on the fence wether or not to wait for the w-oiled but I’m concerned about fan noise
Thanks I appreciate the feedback 🔥
Its hard to tell, but all i know is that you won't be disappointed with this one
how many frames do you get in warzone / resurgence??
Resurgence is almost similar to a shipment match, on warzone the performance does suffer a lot because of the huge map so if I need more frames, I’d start dropping the graphics presets until I’m satisfied with the FPS. Def need DLSS on Ultra Performance 😂
gotcha gotcha im going to upgrade to a new pc this year and i want to get a super beefy one to run this monitor with so i wanted to see how many frames you get with this monitor, if you were to lower your settings to medium/low could you run 240fps at 4k res w 240hz?

Hey Bro can you drop me a link for the mount bracket please?
Would you recommend this monitor for someone to use it for PS5 and VScode? Im a Softwear Engineer so I'm looking for a monitor thats primarily for my PS5 and also use as my 2nd monitor for work
I just got mine delivered today and I’m a console player as well I upgraded from a 1080p 120 fps monitor and bro it was the best upgrade I highly recommend because consoles only get 120 fps and it’s the best monitor on the market rn
@@nicb3977how has your experience been using consoles with it? Any recommendations for the settings? And how do you update the latest firmware? Sorry for all the questions
@@chillibeef9947 it has been perfect I have both next gen systems and I haven’t really messed with the settings other than making sure it was running max fps on the consoles. Games like Elden ring and horizon zero dawn look absolutely beautiful
just to let people know, I ordered one and i nthe uk they are made to order from dell.
If for PS5 it's overkill, have you another monitor in mind that console gamers should go for?
Great video by the way.
I just bought this monitor looking forward to receiving it, I want to buy an arm what is the reference of your arm for the screen?
thank you for your beautiful video
I got the original Dell monitor arm (msa20) and it is amazing.
@@FIREWOLFTECH I have the AW3423dwf so I may give that one a go. Thank you for the response.
Would you recommend this over the asus pg32ucdm??
I haven’t tried the ASUS version yet 🥲 it’s been sold out everywhere since launch. Hopefully in the coming weeks they restock so i can test it out
Definitely my favorite monitor so far.
I personally don't like that the USB-C is not performing to its capabilities.
Like all they had to do was enable DisplayPort 🥲
No audio output??
nice video bro! Where do you get your wallpapers, they look fire
Most likely wallpaper engine, search for neon waterfall and this one is on there.
Yeah I use wallpaper engine for Windows 🔥 worth it
What monitor would you recommend on console only?
For console only there's many options, but if you want to experience OLED, then I would highly recommend this monitor if you don't mind the high price tag. Just keep in mind that you'll have to use your headphones, or an ARC enabled speaker for sound
@@FIREWOLFTECH well I play on Xbox and use a gaming headset. I like the looks of this but also looking at the new LG27gs95qe since the last year model was claimed to be too dark

Quick tip when playing MW3 don’t cap ur fps inside the game settings you will somehow lose more frames just put it to unlimited frames and cap it from nvidia control panel you will notice an increase on your FPS + download MSI after burner and pump the power & temps high no need for OC it will help you out getting a bit more performance

this or the new G8 oled??? (g80sd)
Waiting for the reviews on the Asus, maybe they can get that brightness up a little
I did a review on the PG49WCD : th-cam.com/video/4qvgR_Qak-M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oNCzAqupV_psgpfC

Disable HDR, never use that junk tech.
@@drunkhusband6257hdr isn't garbage you just need to learn to calibrate settings hdr is a game changer
What are you settings? You need to calibrate your settings so brightness settings, contract ones, picture mode ect

Can you change the brightness while hdr is on?
No, you can not. This could be addressed in a future firmware update. I really hope they add that ability as it's annoying to have to disable hdr to change any display settings or cycle thru different modes.
Yeah it won’t let you change certain settings when HDR, once it’s on, it gets really bright. Hopefully it gets addressed in a future update

Whats wrong with that aspect ratio, I want to buy one but I mostly do productivity work like coding
@@tauhidkhondker465 you need to set Windows on 150% scaling. Otherwise everything is too small. In my opinion 4k on 32 inch is not usable with a 100% scaling because Everything is tiny small. And with 150 the screen area is to small to have even two Windows side by side.

Would intel i9 1400k with a 4090 be a great combo for this monitor? And how is it for streaming? I’m still doing my research and I’m thinking of getting this one
You're def pushing horsepower so its a great combo.
For streaming though, I think most go for 1080P or 1440P since streaming will also take resources which would lower your FPS and you may have to lower graphics settings.
But other than that, this is a solid choice for a beautiful 4K OLED monitor, and it just came out
