      @@yellowcat1310 It's a super fantastic delay. Really.

it sounds empty in that room but you still found enough to put a pedalboard together.

A few things I hadn't packed yet. Or stuff that showed up in the last week.

i don't mean to spam your comments but as you were going through the sounds i was wondering about my grandson's set up. which he is just starting and of course he got a cheap distortion pedal off Amazon. sounds ok but it makes noise. it seems like i've heard of noise filters. a better pedal might be needed too. right now we are in the Mettalica Master of Puppets and Black Sabbath War Pigs phase of his musical taste. i'm trying to get him to work on some blues and other stuff with clean sounds but he's young and he blows me away with his Master of Puppets playing. what would be a good next pedal or two to go with a metal mostly setup?

Not spam at all, glad to help. One contributor, maybe the main contributor, to noise is usually the power supply. A good regulated and isolated power supply is a huge start. Cioks, Strymon and One Spot Pro are good places to begin. Cioks is my favorite FWIW. However, gain pedals can be noisy anyway. A lot of metal players also use a noise gate for just this purpose. And of course, a better gain pedal wouldn't hurt . The old Rat, Boss DS-1 or my favorite, the Walrus Audio Eras. I got an Eras super cheap if he wants to go that direction, just let me know. I'll give it to you at my cost. But any of those are great, including a lot of MXR distortions off the top of my head.
