It's practical though: it's a large pedal that takes up a lot of space. So rather hide it. Makes sense to me and I'm also Dutch? I mean, I am Dutch, but well you get what I mean, right?

Thankfully it has a *lot* of presets because it's a job that probably never quite gets finished. Even in this vid Paul was fiddling with the pedals that were already being controlled by MIDI. 🤣

For those who keep asking about the prices:
Analog Man - King of Tone (retail price): $265
Chase Bliss Audio - Blooper: $500
    Chase Bliss Audio - CXM 1978: $900
Chase Bliss Audio - Midi Box (control ports): $60
Chase Bliss Audio - Mood: $349
Chase Bliss Audio - Preamp MKII: $750
    Cornerstone - Gladio: $400
    Hologram Electronics - Microcosm: $450
    Klon - Centaur: $5000
    Mission Engineering - EP-1: $140
    Mythos - Golden Fleece: $140
    Schmidt Array - SA750XDM_wx: $915
    Source Audio - Collider: $350
    Strymon - Mobius: $450
    Strymon - Volante: $400
    The Gig Rig - G3: $1200
    The Gig Rig - Power (Base Pack 2 + 9x Timelord +2x Isolator): $1135
    ---------
    Total: ~$13,400 excluding taxes/shipping/etc.
Obviously the Klon and King of Tone are the biggest variables here because of the KOT waitlist and the Klon's insane price that could've been more than double the cost of the whole board. Only Paul knows that.

      - fab distortion: €23 used, found on internet.
      - zoom 505: €45 shipping included from a seller on reverb from japan.
      - cuvave fuzz: +-€20 from a chinese ebay seller.
      - tremolo no brand: €0 built and gifted by a friend.
      .
...not to mention the board itself: the floor.

David, you have an even bigger grin than usual. Love the choice of pedals you have some of my favorites- CB blooper and Mood?! Microcosm, strymon gear? It would be my ultimate creative board. You sound amazing!

  • @GrahamBellMusician

Fantastic! So great to be able to do everything on the fly, leaving the most room for creativity! Switchers and midi are such an amazing revelation. You should also try hooking it up to your computer and start sending midi messages with the gigrig to Ableton for looping! The ultimate handsfree looping device! Syncing tap tempos, trigging loops, recording, expression pedal to control filters/faders/tempos... like you said, only your imagination is the limit. Takes a little setting up, but it's worth it! Plus you can always keep that on a separate bank, leaving the triggering and recording buttons separate to all your effects. Anyway, congrats - sounds like so much fun!
