Hello, I have a problem My MB E200 / 2007 - M271.956 with starting cold and even hot, after stopping for 1-2 hours it starts very hard. I have no errors on the tester and perfect operation. I replaced spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter, cam sensor, crankshaft sensor. What can it be? Thank you very much!
Hello, I reckon that I would be on the other side of the earth from your country. My mechanic charges 250 pounds for labour to lift out M271 to change out the timing chain, lower sprocket, bracket, timing adjustors, tensioner. Each of any other items added to these main jobs would be a separate labour charge, albeit each at a much lower labour cost than it would be if done individually.😂😂😂 So crankshaft sensor, rubber gasket for oil cooler, hidden away hoses and cleaning two throttle bodies, MAP will be included. So your problem for starting your E200 is a faulty crankcase speed sensor?. I hope I could keep my E200k for next 5 years. I think for the past 2.5 years + next 5 years it would come to 7500 pounds for upkeeping or PM. Regards
How on earth have you managed to remove those covers from the M and F plugs without damaging them ? My MB E200 with M271.956 have engine oil in the big plug. Need to clear it. Crank but no start failure failure.
Hello I really appreciate you help I hope my mercedes w203 compressor c200 is the same problem I will try to replace grankshaft sensor thank you
Thank you good advice

Hello, have a similar car, was ur car running rich? Like -7 to -21? With the same code? And was your fuel efficiency lower?
Mixed up camshaft and crankshaft sensors here ?
I have a exhaust camshaft code. I replaced the sensor and cam magnet. The idle surges up and down at idle.
All wiring is ok. Any recommendations
Timing chain? Or You have a vaccum leak is a pipe under the airbox u nerd to replace.
The music is too loud. We cant hear what you are saying

Stretched timing chain. Common on this engine.

Sorry dude! Will not happen next time, I was in a rush
I am getting p0335. But already replaced sensor by an original. Car sometimes stalls at first start when cold. Do you hava a tip ?
My one have similar problem but worse. Changed the sensor but the problem is still there.
could you solve it?
I think you mean and indicate camshaft sensors and not crankshaft sensor
Yeh such an idiot
Yeah, exactly what i thought too. To my knowledge crankshaft sensor is behind and below engine, near starter motor!
Lose that annoying music
