I would never take my Merc to this guy. Antifreeze pouring in to bottom pan, hopefully done an oil change. Hammering in the cam tool instead of wiggle it in. Not changing guides, at least Left side. You haven’t released the tensioner.

It doesn’t reset transmission. It resets throttle position sensor. Put your shoe on.
Awesome video. Currently dealing with CAN issues on my 2010 ML350 Bluetec. Very similar car. However, mine has 3 distributors at the passenger side footwell, not 2. 1 of them has green wires (I'm guessing drivetrain) while the other 2 have orange/brownish wires. I'm wondering which CAN that third distributor is for...

Owner of S500 W221 with issue on ECU cost me 2,200$ to fix replaced with new one. For all people with that issue...my car was running super poorly...from 8 cylinders only 6 were working and not in sync...causes vibration while accelerating - super poor performance...sometimes my car didnt start, but after few IN and out putting key and taking out it works (took 2-3 min for the car to "wake up" and recognize the key go ignite the engine), not gonna mention about the fuel - super bad. If YOU have issue with ECU...FIX it as soon as possible with NEW one that gonna carry your VIN number and the key. It hurts, but if you love your car...you gonna spend 50% of its value to mantain it super nice. And trust me...the car gonna thank you with 100-200k of pure joy. If you drive some sh1tty car - its not worth...like C class or some basic cars with 2 extra cables as "feature" then just scrap the car. But for your expensive babies, please take care.
Agility is not sport+, it's a slightly more aggressive eco mode.

great video, Thank you for posting this video, we have a W205 C220 2015 in our shop, it has no crank no start, there are too many CAN error messages, No communication with ABS/ ESP, transmission or Engine ECU, the EIS has fault codes stored, many others on the HMI CAN BUS, Can C with srs, we have checked all the Power distributors and replaced them, check all wiring etc, but still no Crank or Start, the Parkatronic system also has a malfunction, the reverse camera has CAN issues , have you ever had a troublesome car like this in your Shop ? The Cluster does not show the Gear select Arrow, any ideas please ? Thanks 🙂

I wanted to join the mercedes Benz forum ( owners club) half way through filling in all the stupid questions I came to my senses. Why do they want all your personal information, they said so they can send me birthday greetings. All I want to know is why is a 0524 code one minute a critical oil pressure indicator. And the next minute a charge movement flap on bank 1 has malfunction . I am talking about all the chats going on, on TH-cam .I have had this all checked out by specialist and it came up as the charge movement flap. And knock control has a malfunction. My mercedes mechanic after also checked it out With a workshop mercedes computer. It said change the ECM. Could you or someone please please explain What's going on. My engine runs a sweet as a nut. No oil pressure lights. But that check engine light is on. I am into my 5th mercedes I have never had a problem with any . Your video is fantastic many thanks 🙏
