Thanks. In my case the cam and crank sensors both kinda alternate the 5 volt and 0 volt (.3v) As in every couple swipes it may stay at 0 v or it may stay at 5v when the wrench is pulled away. But both are doing the same thing. Does that sound normal. Thanks

I have the "check injection system" 0340 code on my 2009 megane 1.9dci plus check "anti pollution system" code. I swapped sensor, still have same issue, tried your test eith multimeter and everything seem normal, your signal voltage shows 9.60, mi e os 11.40 but i dont think rhat matters since when i touch the sensor with a spanner, numbers go down like they should. Any other help or info would be much appreciated. By the eay i had timing belt and drive belt replaced recently including crank pulley and the errors still exist. I also used dpf and whole diesel cleaner in hopes to get rid of the "check anti pollution" code. Code is still there. Is the engine busted or is there more that i can do?

Mine V is 2.38 Haynes Manual says ; Measure the voltage between the 5V reference circuit and the chassis. = 4,8~5,2 V Measure the voltage between the CKP signal circuit and chassis. = 4,8~5,2 V Whats the wrong ?

What if I have no signal voltage something with the wiring?
Signal voltage when Crank the engine coming from the ECM.
First check the wire connection from the sensor to the ECM.
If connection is good than the problem will be from the ECM
it is more reliable to check it with the magnetization force (it should hang 2 medium coins hanging one after another - like chain links).

I get a voltage of 5.02 on mine. Is that too low?
No. It's a 5v system so that's good. It should zero out if the sensor is working though
