Hello I replaced the crankshaft sensor and the entire camshaft on my 02 jeep wrangler and it still won’t start, it doesn’t seem to be getting gas, do you know what the issue could be?
Spray starter fluid into the intake while cranking it if it starts up or tries to start up then you have a fuel problem if it doesn't start up or try to start up didn't you have a spark problem it's possible that by changing the sensors that it may need to be calibrated if you put your ear next to the gas tank while somebody tries to start the vehicle you should hear the fuel pump come on if you have a pressure gauge you can check the fuel rail and see if it's got correct fuel pressure
Hey Zach we replaced to heads on a 02 Tacoma and upon start we got a P0340. New code after head replacement. When we try to reset it with scan tool comes right back. Do we need smarter tool or could it just be CPS? You cat solved your sensor issue our dog is no help!

Hi mate, i have a issue with the transmission of my CRV RD1. Gear 1 & 2 picking up but it doesn't shift to 3rd&4th gear and stalls while the engines on.press of the gas and it raves without moving.. any advise

Hi so I had a rattle during cold start before getting my timing chain replaced along with oil separator , camshaft thing and a few other thing but my engine is still rattling on cold starts but no check engine light What could it be
The Ford 3.5 eco boost had a problem with the design of the cam phasers. The cold start rattle was caused by lack of oil pressure on startup that went away once pressure built. But even the redesigned phasers had this problem. I found that the real culprit is dirty oil. Oil changes at 5k intervals with full synthetic oil solved my problem after 4 oil changes. I'm currently using Valvoline Restore oil because it is suppose to clean the engine. I should also note that my cam sensor had oil buildup on it that caused a p00016 code.
My 1998 dodge ram 1500 5.9 stalls at red lights so I gotta put it in park and give it gas so it doesn't die or if its dying i gotta keep pushing the gas to get through the green light. @@8020Media This is the code I got on my 2015 Ford 3.5 eco boost with 182k miles on it. The Blue Driver readout for p0016 said "Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation Bank 1 Sensor". I didn't have any problems with starting, the idle was smooth, and only a minor loss of fuel economy. The main symptom was the engine was sometimes unresponsive when accelerating from a stop or while passing. It took twenty minutes and $25 to replace the bank 1 CMP and the problem was solved. The old sensor had a build up of oil that looked similar to varnish mostly on the tip. This and the fact that the symptom was intermittent indicates that the sensor may have just needed cleaning by spraying it with mass air flow cleaner.
