Love your Lento sweater, the lightly color changing into darker pink is beautiful and looks like have to be. And the weather this spring, well it’s been surprisingly wett and cold, but the weather forecast promised that it will getting nicer. So we’ll be brave and wait patiently for the sun. Today I planted unions in my vegetable garden (Netherlands). Hope they will survive in wett clay, but I didn't want to wait any longer because of bad wheater, but we luckily have no ice on mailboxes 😅 I laughed out loud when you told about the knees in your sweatpants. So funny! Take good care of yourself and Hi! to your husband (have no questions😉).
I did onions too in my garden. The only thing the caterpillars dont eat! Plus night scented stock in great big drifts x

I look forward to your podcast every week! I live in northern Wisconsin, right by Lake Superior, and our weather is very similar to yours. We won't be planting our gardens until the end of May as we are likely to still get frost or even snow. In the late 1800's many many people emigrated to this region from Finland, Norway, and Sweden, and their descendants are still here (including me!). Climate and landscape was very much like home for these people so we can see why they chose this place.

Sorry to hear of your sprained ankle. That would certainly complicate your week, and add to the tiredness, besides getting over that illness you had. Anything involving our lungs gets you very tired for quite some time. I’ll be wishing good health and strength returning in abundance!
I sure do enjoy this time listening to you! So fun to see your gnome progress. I still haven’t started, but will on the first of May. I did finish my Whitehorse (Caitlin Hunter pattern) and I love it. It is now washed and blocking. It’s a cotton blend yarn, so I’ll be waiting for some warmer days to wear it. Perfect spring summer sweater here. Now it’s time to pick up the Elton I started for my Mom.
The littles are asking for hot cross buns, but I need flour, so hoping I can get some this week. What is a favourite sweet bun there in Finland? What is your husbands fav?

I like your Lento. I am glad you didn’t knit the double collar because my intention was to do the same. My neck is too sensitive for a double knit. I’m using leftovers from a previous project. I had to purchase extra balls of mohair/silk to add a little bit of body to main portion of the sweater.❤❤

Hi, Jana. Your sweater is lovely on you, great colours! I was in the Gnome group of Brownies (now called Embers?) in elementary school - so long ago I barely remember ;) At that time, for some reason, I was disappointed that I wasn't a pixie or fairy or something else. But now I feel honoured to have been a Gnome! 😂

Love your Lento, such beautiful colors. Your Half + Half Triangles Wrap is looking good. My guess about the Linen Quill color combination is Peachy Pink + Honey Pink, or Peachy Pink + Peony Pink. The first one is a combination featured among Purl Soho's array of H+HTWs. I love their color Honey Pink. Peachy Pink also looks wonderful with Lavender Opal.

I think I said this last week, but your Lento is (still) fantastic! I’m currently working on an Anker Summer Shirt-my first garment-and I think I’ll need a break from sweaters for a while! Also, I promised my family members that I’d make some baby knits this spring and summer. But come autumn, I can easily see myself casting this on!

It's strawberry season. I've eaten so many! My daddy and I have a huge garden. We have zucchini, yellow squash, okra, tomatoes, and pickling cucumbers set out. I'll be planting sunflowers and some herbs soon.
