      (G Rated Version. )
If you mess up, fess up.
      He gets that.
Always told our employees, as we did our daughter, mess up, come to us, and tell us. We may be upset, but if we don't know what went down, it's harder to fix, and can make our shop's reputation take a serious hit. We don't want to hear it from a customer. That's too late.
Sooner we know, the sooner we can help take care of the problem.

He's not the first or last to break cover. They are not typically this hard with the boss NOT remembering them. Depends on the person.
Some of us would rather risk a loss, if it keeps a long term employee there, as we know the true costs of high turnover. Like having to pay 2 people to do one job, each tine that employee learns a new position, or anofher machine, for starters. HR related time and expenses, unnecessary overtime, among others.
My wife and I don't see employees working for us. We see them as part of the family.

@@mikesoule1352 yep. Noticed the missing not, and you are correct. However, every big company starts that way. Small. Take Harley Davidson as an example. Started in a shed in 1903.
Maybe more companies should keep that in mind, and not become huge corporations. It would allow for better employee relations, and help to maintain a better image for the company, in the public eye.

Alot of Owners and CEO's of company's get millions of dollars a year in a salary which is way too much take several millions of your over compensated salary and divide it up and pay your people who make the money for you a good raise you will survive and they will do a better job ,is it really hard to figure that out.

Employees make YOUR dreams come true.
If any person in a position of authority isn't willing to get down on the ground floor, roll up their sleeves, get dirty, and do the hard work - they don't deserve the people who work for them.

Why are people paid so low? How are companies allowed to pay so little and ask for so much in return from an employee? It's supposed to be a contract that benefits both parties, not just the company. Do not work for a company that pays you so little you can't afford to survive working full time. Those jobs are for teens that don't pay bills, nobody else.
