Nice to hear your reaction to a high quality manual! I used to write such manuals for a living, so it warms my heart to hear that someone sees it as a reflection of product quality.
I can’t believe you’re racing your heusinkveld’s with socks on! 😳 that brake pedal must be calibrated to like 50% max force of what it’s fully capable of, haha Now might be a time to try out some racing shoes! I got a pair when I upgraded to my Heusinkveld’s after always racing in socks before, and I’ve never looked back. Being able to really stand on the brake pedal with a ton of force gives me a huge range of brake pressure range to play with, which really helps with that low end trail braking. Glad you’re loving the pedals so far!! I also couldn’t believe how big a difference it was coming from the V3’s, Nils definitely knows what he’s doing
Agreed on all points- especially the manual. These products are a bit of a time-machine for me. With regards to materials, documentation, and support, I find that Fanatec products send me back to the 90's, while HE products are a lot like something out of the 80's- all in GOOD ways. I wish more stuff today was made like this.
Nice review, and thank you for all the info. I have my eye on these which i plan to get some time in the future, so its great to get your point of view on these.
I'm having problems with latency with my sprints but Heusinkveld sent me a brand new pcb. Even tho mines is also new. I've had my sprints for like less than. 1month. I really enjoy them. Much better than my v3s with dampers on throttle and brake.
Good review Mike. Mine are in the post, can’t wait. I’m also going from the v3 pedals to the Sprint. Also waiting on a SC2 pro going from a v2.5. Dam I’m excited. Until then no racing for me as I sold all fanatec gear except the bmw rim.
@@Cagefighter I ended up getting the SC2 Sport. I love it. I mainly drive iRacing or ACC or sometimes Ams2 and it is fantastic. Did not like it with original AC. Much more power than I need. I use a turn r20 rim and it goes beautifully with the base.
@@Cagefighter must admit when I first got it I did not think there was a major difference from the csw 2.5 if I was you I would go for the pro. I only got the sport due to the 1 power unit, but now you can get the pro with one power supply, that would be the way I would go. Just for that little bit more fidelity. Not saying the sport does not have enough feel, it is really good. Either way you can’t go wrong.
You can mount them upside down but its rig depends. Most owners use aluminium profile cockpits so it's a lot easier. Am curious about the ability of the next level racing pedal plate not flexing
I ordered straight from Europe to Canada, no tariffs, no processing fee, decent shipping cost. Exchange was a bit of a hit ya but came out under Toronto shop price. Need more sim shop options in Canada but I get it, it’s a niche market.
Surely cannot be as bad as my situation I'm in Los Angeles and I got the baseplate and Sprint Pedals from HE and I paid in total about 800 dollars I believe after PayPal charge and conversion rate
Congrats, Mike! These are awesome pedals, by all accounts. I have been checking out the Heusinkvelds for a while now; but, as my Fanatec load cells have been serving me faultlessly for 10 years now, I cannot come up with an excuse to upgrade yet 😊. By the way, have you checked out the latest FFB upgrade for PC2 by Hugo Vai? I would love to hear your thoughts. Cheers, Mike! 🇨🇦
How much do these cost and can i use them on consoles? They look all 100 metal and they will last . Or one day when i can set up a little solid sim area I dont have to move constantly I am going with this brand over thrustmaster amd fanatec.
Currently have Fanatec CSL w/ loadcell with 3Drap loadcell mod. Despite the mod i still am not fully satisfied. Would you recommend upgrading to Sprints? I mainly play ACC.
@@SimRacing604 I don’t really have a budget 🤣 Planning on splurging after Thanksgiving. New pedals and a round Fanatec rim. I’m very disappointed with the CSLs. Just need to figure out how to sell them now.
Hi Mike, fairly new to the sim world. Could these connect to your Logitech G29 as well? Curious for a guy that would have to piecemeal his setup. Thanks!!
HACHS 383 hi! I don’t believe they can. You MIGHT be able to map them separately, but I wouldn’t count on it. These are primarily made to supplement a stand alone wheel base
@@SimRacing604 Thanks Mike! I figured you wouldn't be able to but wanted to get your thoughts. As always, thanks for everything. Your channel has been so very helpful and enjoyable!
SimRacing604 going to the "Next Level" again - geez, what a surprise ;P Awesome to hear that your happy with the new gear, Mike. And personally, I feel like I have gotten to the point that my "toy like" gear is a limiting factor. But it's frustrating as an Australian that these high end products aren't actually sold here (with the exception of Fanatec gear). As I wanted to get that all metal sequential gear lever - but the postage costs to OZ are thru the roof ; (((
SingleRacer thanks Michael! Yeah, I love them. You should reach out to Boosted Media and see if he has any used gear he can sell you in Australia. And now I’m off to watch another video. Something about “AMS2 in the dry vs AMS2 in the wet”....
More like 99 percent. Its not that the quality will make you the fastest driver its rather if you know how to drive properly near to perfect and use the basics and fundamentals of racing in general. Sometimes the inconsistencies with equipment varies you'll see a difference with these pedals. You can have one good and the rest decent then with the HE sprint pedals you'll have consistent pedals
The clutch is a little noisy... that's probably the only con I can gather from just watching your review video... Does it not have a urethane stop like the other pedals? Or is it the clutch-feeling mechanism that creates the noise?
You probably have the preload not set at all on your fanatec V3’s I have mine set to 3 and I got about 1/2 an inch of total travel in the brake so i think it comes down to how you set your V3’s up to how well the brake performs and a hall sensor gas pedal is fine that’s what’s used in the newer drive by wire cars if it’s good enough for the RL roads it must be good, and Fanatec isn’t explicitly PC there for Console as well can you use Huskenvelds on console nope 👎 so I would say Fanatec V3’s are better, there’s nothing these pedals do that the regular CSL elite pedals can’t do and there potentiometer based pedals I think it really just all comes down to personal preferences, if you have a fanatec wheelbase to go with them there far better IMO
Naa I'll stick with my G920 peddles as much better quality. Right I'm going back to planet deluded. Question: I thought all real-life brakes were linear?
did you ever drive a car ? Because no, it's not for the BRAKE only its with the pressure BUT the accelerator is totally linear because it's a literally a cable, for the clutch its like you got 25% of nothing then you have a big resistance:)
Does it matter? Just asking, because nowadays it seems that the color matters... what the heck is wrong with us, ppl? Back to the pedals, sorry for the rant! 🙄

I only flip the pedal faces on brake and clutch and leave the throttle. Which make them almost at the same height.
