The sim commander software was what sold me on the accuforce. Some sims/games just have FFB that is lacking and leaves you disappointed with them and wanting more. With Sim Commanders telemetry based force feedback you have the ability to dial in something that you can not only be satisfied with but possibly even impressed with. It may be slightly down on power compared to a small MiGE but it’s pretty close and I’d never use 100% of the accuforce strength anyways. I’ll take the expanded ability to tune to my liking instead.

Great mini review Mike. I agree also about SimXperience customer support, for myself, it's been great. When I ordered my V2, I had asked for a wheel substitute to the Duramold wheel, when I got the wheel, I got the Alcantara (I really dislike the feel of alcantara), I took a picture, emailed their support, and a week later I had my duramold wheel and got to keep the Alcantara wheel. I'm very impressed with the package as a whole and the Duramold wheel seems to have even better FF feel do to not having as much soft padding as the Alcantara wheel. :)

I believe the review you mentioned by Barry, he was reviewing the V1. He couldn't get it dialed in, and that was his main complaint. He said that was resolved w/ V2, he did a new video. Seemed to really like it, probably would still recommend the others if price was not the issue.

After nearly a 3 month wait, I finally got one! And it is amazing! I got the plastic handled formula rim as well, but I am not crazy about it. Accuforce recently released the alcantara version of that, in case you didn't know. I don't care for that material (personal preference to be sure) myself, and would prefer rubber grips. However, the new cloud tuning works great and makes this unit pretty much plug and play. I love it!

Good advice on what looks like a good product. One small issue (not sure if you are aware), they are out of stock of mostly everything. I was looking into getting an Accuforce DDW when you talked about it months ago. long before the pandemic hit and they were back ordered then. I contacted them and they had stopped production for whatever reason. But would start again soon, then, the pandemic hit. And no one else sells their products (Amazon, etc.). Mike if you have more info than that, like when they are going to start production again or if they have already, please let us (me) know. I still want this wheel. It is a great price for what you get.

Hi 369darkknight. I ordered my AF V2 Pro in January, took roughly 5 weeks to get it, their estimate when I ordered was 5 to 8 weeks. Yes, the wait can be annoying but well worth it once you get the thing. It's been rock solid and like Mike's review states, a great wheel package for the price.

I got my used AccuForce V1 about 6 months ago after I upgrades my pedals to a set of Heusinkvelds because everybody says that's the right order to upgrade. I'm sure that true and the pedals are great but the AccuForce is the item that brings a smile on my face whenever I drive. When I drive the 962 in Assetto Corsa and really boost the ffb you will be sweating after a couple of laps. Everybody says Fanatec DD bases are better and I believe them but at the pricepoint of the AccuForce the options fully configured (with wheel) have a pretty massive price difference and the question is if that's gap is worth it. AccuForce is a great option, especially if you live in the US.

Hi Mike, I think this is a great wheelbase and I did a lot of research on this one. I was comparing this and the Simagic M10, and the m10 won out because it's bluetooth and there's no cord. Either choice is ideal to get into sim racing proper, and you'll probably never have to upgrade. My advice to players who don't own a dd wheel yet, is to save up for one of these bundles, they are so worth it, and it DOES change the driving and emmersion experience tenfold. I also use the v3 inverted pedals (excellent gear), and again, you'll never need an upgrade. Great channel, excellent vid, take care from a fellow Cdn and simracer. Well done.

    Hi Mike,
Nice review, the only drawback of the simxperience is that they do not have dealerships in Europe.
If I want to buy the Gt steering wheel for $ 80 I have to pay almost three times as much for the transportation costs.
Then it is far too expensive to ship from the USA.
Too bad, Josh emailed that he wanted to find a cheaper carrier, but that was only $ 20 cheaper.
But the v2 is a fantastic system, I am very happy with it.
    regards
    Peter Vink.

I too switched from my trusty TX to a DD wheel (sim-plicity SW8C+) this month, and I was pleasantly surprised how big the margin between those wheels is.
In fact driving a DD wheel almost feels like cheating, because I was able to catch so many drifts I wouldn't have saved with the TX due to its higher inertia. :-)
Regarding the long cord: I've been using a custom built rim with USB connector since I had by TX base, and I did the same I saw at many other sim racer setups: Just wind the cord around the axis once in center position. That way it will still stretch enough to both sides, but won't tangle up with the shifter paddles or your hands.

Turning to you because I can't get info from anyone else, or no one seems to have experienced this problem.
I recently purchased the accuforce pro v2 and am having an issue with the spring effect. Even when I have every effect on SimCommander4 turned off, including the spring setting, there is a ridiculous centering spring that snaps the wheel back and forth as if there's a physical spring wrapped around the axle. I turned the intensity all the way to 1% so that the ffb bumps and pulls couldn't be felt, but the spring is still there whipping it to the center. It's clearing not self aligning torque, I know how that functions, this is a canned spring effect that will not go away. I'm not sure if there's some setting that I've missed or if the wheelbase is just defective.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Great review Mike! I would add a couple of points:
For AU users, consider the currency conversion rate means about $1250 + about $250 in duty on arrival in the country that you have to pay before the goods will be released to you from Customs. Still has the AccuForce Pro v2 $1000AU cheaper than the Fanatac DD1 for example.
The button box, although robust and reliable, and really good build quality, is a bit old school these days without the rotary dials and no D-Pad that are so convenient on many of the high end wheels, and I feel the loss of this from my consumer wheel that I owned prior to the AccuForce.
Customer service with the company has been hit and miss. I've had one really good experience, and one really bad. Both issue were exceedingly minor though, so don't let that reflect on the quality of the product which is second only in my experience to the Fanatac products.
