"now that times are getting rough people are trying to scam". I am almost 80 years old, used car scams have been around as long as there have been used cars.
The thumbnail of this clip is very misleading and very unprofessional. You should put picture of the scammer Michael Tanase and not of the honest person Raha Ahmadi who has been in the used car sales business for over 15 years. For people who are just going to see the thumbnail will think that it is Ahmadi who is scamming people. I hope it is an oversight on part of the person creating the content. Please correct this to reflect the person responsible for the crime.
Here's an idea that's been around for a while. Set up the meeting at the nearest police station. They have designated areas for these types of transactions. If they dont show, you will know they're up to no good and don't want to get arrested. Also, NEVER conduct the transaction alone. Have a male figure or two or three to ensure your safety. C'mon people, be smarter.
How do you not know that they’re scamming you??? As a vehicle owner I know what’s wrong with it. If I saw smoke I’d go over and see what’s smoking. It’s so easy to see that oil was poured on the manifold.
The Scam is making a vehicle appear to be mechanically wrong. Thus taking advantage of the seller with haggling for lower price. I agree that ultimately comes down to seller whether they sell it or not but oftentimes they don’t understand what’s going on.
Well Worried Then just go get a brand new one Guess what jeep chy dodge Just made a alarming Announcment Check the web. New vehicles now a days Start @ $ 25k + feez So here is one way to skip Scamers.
I bet the majority assumed the arab guy was the scammer.
I'm Arab and I did 😂
Yes 😂 never buy a car from a Armenian and a Arab
Yes, because they picked a bad thumbnail
that is why never interview about criminals
as some may assume they story is about you
It’s cause his hair
You should know if your car already smokes!
Deport. Deport. Deport.
how do you know the crook is living here illegally? The DUI arrest would have got him deported, racist fool, get back inside your trailer
Why do you assume they’re here illegally?

You can do the transaction at the police department.
The reporter has the most annoying high voice modulation.....
Reporter your ex wife
So, does the lady sheriff speaking. She said and 3 times and made it sound iand. Um was used to and all she needed was to say like a couple of times.
All of the above comments are #Garbage
💯‼️…annoying
So the sheriff needs eye-candy as a spokesperson? Why can’t the Sheriff speak to the media? Waste of money for the taxpayers. Shady
Eye candy? You need to get outside and touch some grass
@@not_thedroids871 bozo yes eye candy. The point was why can’t the sheriff speak for himself and not waste taxpayer money by hiring her.
That's eye candy? Jesus! The bar is low with this one
@@johndoe7109 you clown it’s an expression. And your Jesus has nothing to do with this. Get the point. It’s about wasting money.

Someone did this years ago to an elderly gentleman. It’s on TH-cam.

That case is gonna get thrown out if he has private counsel, this is a joke
Never ever let someone touch your car while you’re talking to other person. They already have a plan.
Yeah, ask the scammers for a reference and see their bank statements before arranging a meet.
its in their culture to do this
Oldest trick in the book
I was gonna say rolling back miles is a much bigger scam
Scamming since they could crawl
theres always scammers.
Evils, they deserve prison time.
So what happened after they see smoke? They offer a lower price?
What you think? Like they will offer them higher price …
@@jackmac66 surprised they didn’t just carjack the car.
Where they forced to sell it ?? Kinda don't make sense
@@pytube777 I think that way less chances of getting caught and in the end getting more money out of these poor victims
@@albertlatscha makes sense because owners fear there is something wrong with their car and end up selling lower than asking price
Horrible thumbnail it makes it looks like Cars R Us is the scammer 😂
Yea its a lemon, for some reason it started smoking after i poured oil on
Look at the cold Monte Carlo in the back 😍 he selling that?

No bail please for these losers
Am I the only one lost on what the story is?
Not just you. What is the scam? Pouring oil on an engine sounds like a prank not a scam.

Tanase is a Romanian last name
Lol... A reporter lady who tells the news would be better off being a fan of some soccer team, chanting slogans from the stands
GYPSIES HOW DID THEY GET ITO THE COUNTRY
So what did he do besides put oil did he pay 20% for the car natter the fact ?
Yes. They basically make you believe your car has a major issue and convince you to sell it for almost nothing
Who falls for this scam 😂😂
Gotem
Oh I thought my brother Ahmad was involved but hopefully he wasn't otherwise all Muslims would have been blamed.
All you Middle Eastern people are very shady when selling car. You know it too
