This didn’t work for me. I have it on and did everything as shown, and it’s still not picking up the audio, I’m not sure what’s going on, I have a HD60 S+ too
@@djswirley I figured out my problem, I needed the 4k utility capture In Order for it to capture the audio, and also make sure that the cord for the elgato was 3.0 the usb C type with the blue tip at the end. And then change the audio input to your capture card in the 4k Utility if it isn’t changed already. And ever since that which was like days ago is been working for me
For anyone who can't find the option for the audio device, my computer for some reason started using the capture card as my microphone in settings (which oddly still used my normal mic for some reason) If you can't find your capture card in audio devices on windows, search for sound settings and make sure your mic isn't set to your capture card

Why does the option for audio device not show up after the Buffering option? My mirabox shows up but the only options I have for settings stops after Color space and range.

with some capture cards, you have to have some software to have it come through, thats how it used to be for me so maybe try looking up elgato software's that are free to download.
Some capture cards require a software for obs to pick up the audio. If obs is getting audio and your headphones aren't, why don't you try connecting your headphones to your console instead?
its my first time on console always been on PC , i am struggling with obs settings i am using elgato HD60s , my headphones and mic are USB connected to my PC i am done everything i could with elgato monitoring switched it to monitor and optout i lowered the volume on obs so is my headset all good while gaming but when i check the video i recorded the game is too loud even my mic is too low however on the obs meter it hits the red zone , on my console i am having the sound music & video low too Thank you so much
I did a 2 hour test stream and 1 he 45 minutes it stopped audio recording and the mic commentary was fine. After a few seconds the game audio resumed and the whole game audio had audio delay. Will this fix the problem?
I'm using an HD60X Capture card hooked up to a 6(Input)x2(Output) HDMI matrix switcher and I'm trying to hear my game audio through my Wii U. I've got that one plus a ps2, 4, Switch, and Wii hooked up but can't hear my game audio. I got a dual monitor setup. One for OBS and the other for my console interface. For some reason the game audio and Elgato game capture bars aren't playing the sound. Can you pls help me?

Here is what FIXED it for me!!! (This video did not help my specific issue, but I accidentally figured it out) *** Windows "Microphone Privacy" settings were turned OFF. *** When I enabled them for another app, my OBS started detecting/playing audio from my Switch!!!
So with things like amazon, good, or apple there is a copyright law that doesn't allow it to be recorded, so it shouldn't be able to show anything like that
My only guess would be maybe the capture card isn't plugged in properly. Some capture cards require a usb 3.0 port to function or maybe the capture card itself isn't functioning properly

I bought the one that has the audio/mic ports ($100) still unable to get my audio from my headset to be heard through stream. I bought the chat link cable. I even bought a headset/mic splitter so I could plug into both the headset and mic ports. However still no voice through headset mic. Running xsx, mirabox 3.0, streamlabs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also if you think I need to send back the mirabox and get elgato I'm fine with that if it will fix my issue. Thanks for any help

Hmm... well this has always worked for me, so I don't have another fix... I'd guess either your wire is not connected properly or your mirabox is dysfunctional

I sadly don't have a fix for that. It seems like your obs just doesn't want to work so maybe try reinstalling the software?

The brand of capture card will change how you fix the audio, but for some cases like elgato, you need to have software to have audio coming through...

I have no idea! Usually audio cutting out is a device issue, not a settings issue

Well, obs is needed for recording multiple audio devices. It's a free download if you look it up on google
