Hole in the Rock/Poopy Pants Hill is definitely not for the faint of heart. It always amazes me that you guys don't damage your rigs any more than you do.
Hey Rob, thanks for checking in. I'm still working, so I can't do them all. Unless the economy goes totally south, I hope to retire after this school year. I hope to make more events after that.
I bought a 47 Wiley's jeep from the Ogden High coach in the 80's. It had a 283 Chevy engine in it. After restoring it with fiberglass, paint, and chrome engine parts, that puppy was a dream machine! It easily cruised at 80 mph if we let it. After sandblasting it before the paint job one Saturday, my friends talked me into spending the day in the Salt Lake valley. It was now after dark and I had forgotten that I had removed my front grill and headlights back home. We were escorted by involuntary 18 wheelers up Parley's Summit and drove in the dark safely all the way to Heber with little traffic. It was a beautiful starry night we will never forget.
Hopefully you can finish the trip.. It is some spectacular scenery and wheelin' to get to the end.. I led a group of Jeep Liberty's on it back in 2004 (most without lockers) and have video proof on my channel.. I have actually done it 5 times, starting with a Suzuki Samurai, and it gets better every time.. Gr8 Trail.!!
We ran the trail again this year with EJS, probably the weekend after you were there... Saw NDT tracks up to about the border of the GCNRA. The trail does NOT get smoother to the end... Gray's mesa is about the nicest going, then it's back on the rocks and lots of bumps... Nice Flat Fender's!!! Nice trip!!!
great interesting tour about the settlers in the 19th century👌. And the Willis are cool as they fight their way through Utah's rough terrain 👍. Great video 💪. Would have liked to join, but unfortunately impossible 🇧🇻😑.
I didn't make a video of the repair. We, mostly my friends, took a 1/4 inch plate about 20 inches long and as wide as the inner frame channel. They clamped it to the frame, drilled a bunch of holes through it, and the frame and bolted it tightly. It's stronger than new.

We were there Thursday and Friday. All 4 jeeps on NDTs. We turned around at the San River overlook on Grey Mesa.
Cool trip, always good to be prepared for trail repairs

Thanks for capturing y’all’s trip, and sharing it with us. If you are interested, I have a 47’ frame, you can have.
Very interesting about the horse and wagon people nice piece of history. Bad breaking your frame . Did you show fixing it ? Thanks for videos

I could not imagine going through that with horses and wagons
How many tools get lost off of bam bam with the tool roll there😂
None that I know of.
The rubber hose going up the side mirror, is that a breather for something ???
Fuel tank vent.
